  • @JoeJacari ... phil rudd plays badass beats . But this is a completely different thing man . You can`t compare this to AC / DC .

  • Phil Rudd is a metronome, nothing else.

  • break it down, i need to learn to use the bounce to speed up my rolls from a simple wrist motion

  • he is cool

  • You should rename the video, to, Look at me, Look at me, Power to the lefty's tho, I play left too

  • DAMN SKIPPY!

  • When I first saw this I couldn't believe my eyes! The guy just shows so much experience and grace in his work.... something that can only come with time. On a second I think that he is more interested in showing off his skill than actually teaching anything. You can get something out of this but I would love to see some of these techniques broken down. Thanks for posting!

  • lefty or?! must be...

  • great educational clip frank i have 2 questions about stretching and warming up before practice and performances how long should a adequate warm up be and how do you prepare for a performance could you do clip on this subject that would help alot thanks

  • anyone else experiencing this video crashing?

  • Man. What I'd do to get a couple lessons with this guy!

  • Good stuff. I was wondering why it looked different, and then I realized he's a lefty.

  • Awesome.

  • can i ask what is the practice pads that you are using?

    thanks

  • can i ask what is the practice pads that you are using?

very awesome technique you have there

    thanks for featuring this vid

  • MAN, I really wish I could get a couple lessons from Frank!!

  • Great lesson Frank!

If you want check out some of my videos you can. I just put them up.

I know you from Jenny Z. remember?

  • La cagaste weon, tocás increíble!!

  • hey i was always told that reverse traditional was wrong but then i see this guy doin it can someone please reply to my comment n tell me wats the deal

  • GENERALLY traditional grip is played using the left hand however there are exceptions. if you are a right handed drumset player and you are playing traditional grip on your right hand just because you don't wanna get used to it on your left, stop and learn it on your left hand.

  • It's not reverse, he's lefty.

  • i really dont think it matters, id say use whichevr one ur most comfortable with.

  • It matters a lot. At first you're probably more conferable with your more dominant hand(Your right hand for non lefty players). Eventually you'll have two hands that are both equal instead of one that's better then the other.

You can get the same results with matched too..

Just trying to avoid miss information, not trying to be a dick..

  • @Nappyrootss traditional grip is always supposed to be in the left no matter is ur right OR left handed

  • I've played (if you were addressing your question to me) for about 30 plus years I would say.

  • did ja see that at the end ?? omg it was a trick !!!

  • yeah I agree tnigrelli.

Kevme, why do you have to compare everybody to Buddy. I love Buddy and so does many for who he is. Frank Bellucci is contributing to the drumming/music industry as Frank Bellucci. If you wanna keep on saying people arent good as Buddy Rich, why dont you get close to it first?

  • how many years you play a drum?

  • I have played drums for about 30 plus years I suppose.

  • Dear kevme,

Can't wait to see your video.

  • Very good stick control and good eveness of strokes at speed and slower etc. One thing about pratice pads is that they DO have big BOUNCE which makes things easier. If someone could do what Frank is doing here on couch pillows...then someone would be getting close to a Buddy Rich type ability. Heavy ebony practice sticks help strengthen tendons, wrists, fingers etc.

  • Why do you have to compare everybody to Buddy Rich? Buddy was a genius and legend on the drums everybody knows that. Frank is Frank and he is truely awesome. Oh yeah and Buddy Rich was a master at controlling rebound

  • I guess people like myself compare everyone to Buddy Rich because he was the pinnacle of drumming in many ways and a goal for all to strive to be as good as he...because so far...no one has really gotten to his level of ability in totality.

  • wow this person is good...

  • This guy's unbelievable.

  • very very good.

Its good to see a lefty every once and a while.

  • Awesome!! Thanks, Frank

  • Frank Uda man!! I'm so glad I found you here! Remember Pasic 94? Keep up the great work!!

  • You're so right!

  • awsome brother

  • Amazing Drum Technique! Great job Frank!
