he cannot leave the forbidden land because the company that made the gaame didnt want this to happen and not because he is cursed . btw u can see whats on the other in the opening scene . only grass and trees nothing special . but its a shame that u cant go on the top of the castle
Now after playing ICO I understand. Wander can't go outside the lands because he is already cursed by the black strings that go outside the Colossus and inside of him. He is cursed by Dormin -.- sometimes I'm not sure if Dormin is good of bad ¬_¬
@starsaber2345 Dormin was worshiped by the races that inhabited that land so he couldn't have been all that bad to begin with. And he was sealed away (the first time) by the tribesman who threw the sword into the pool because in the beginning (before the games time) he and other people started their own religion that did not like monsters, horns, shadow creatures so they sealed him away in 16 segments.
I read that something does happen if you reach that place havin beated the game in ALL 4 MODES. Did you try this out?

Wander isn't cursed by Dormin, he has a part of him inside him because of the black tendrils from the colossi.

Yeah you can, there's a creepy garden on the top. Look up a video, there's all sorts of spooky shit going on up there.

well I'm pretty sure Dormin is bad but your right Wander is cursed by the Dormin so he can't go outside the lands.
