  • im starting one and its super exciting :)

  • You have won the award for best SMASH BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!

  • i had the same problem with that tape.

  • love this! how did it turn out?! :) i subscribed to your channel! happy new year! ~heather

  • I absloutely love your junk journal. I love how you saved your "junk" and turned it into a treasure!!!!

  • I think YouTube needs to add "awesome" to their "reactions" drop-down list as that's what I would have chosen for your video. As another responder said, you presented your book very well. I just finished (well, ALMOST finished) two mini-scrapbooks as Christmas gifts for my best friends and wondered what on earth I will do with all the scraps. Now I know! I've journaled since I was 15...so I can always think of something to say. TFS!

  • what's the name of your font?

  • I just love your journal...omg...every page was amazing! You have so inspired me! My husband and I go to so many fun events and I sometimes don't have photos but always have a wrist band or tickets or whatever and want to remember all the events and this is the way to do it.

    Thank you...Regina

  • Awesome

  • hi! :) this is a wonderful journal. I'm working on mine too, but i really don't know where to find the material for the covers... could you give me some advices? :D

thanks in advance, and again: congratulations for your job!!! ^^

  • I love, love, love this! I'm with you- I like to see filled journals too. I also love how you used everyday scraps as well. I'm inspired to do my own junk journal now too. Thanks for sharing your project!

  • can you explain how you punched the holes to fit the spiral binding? thank you. i love your journals!

  • @emmygrace

i used my bind-it all to punch the holes and than just cut the wire to fit :)

  • FABulous. I saw that video too and I love how you've used yours to highlight the everyday, ordinary life. Really inspired by all the "junk" in yours such as the food wrappers. My favorite bit though was the Japanese fold out that has the pocket and you used some Sassafras packaging for the journal tag. It's wonderful to showcase the everyday otherwise, life will pass us by. TFS. It was truly inspiring. --Lela

  • I bought a plain journal book made by Fancy Pants and this is exactly how I intended to use it.. Thanks for showing yours and that mine will actually work..

  • I don't remember if I have already left a comment, But yours is a wonderful Journal and such great memories for you and your children ! I so wish I could have done that when my 4 children were young. This is a book for you to cherish !

    TFS, Evelyn

  • love the coffee sleeve as envelope idea. thx for walking thru it!

  • Love your journal as it is so original and creative. Love that washy tape idea. This is such a treasure trove of memories and you did such a lovely job.

  • I so adored your journal and how you presented it in a very simple yet creative and heartfelt way. No need for expensive "stuff" just the fact that you used everyday stuff from your days with your kiddies is so sweet and meaningful. It's such a refreshing video and I loved seeing you using throw-aways-- receipts, coffee holders, disposable glasses, wrappers from food, bowling wristband, shaved ice holder! So incredibly sweet!!! I've been hanging onto stuff from 20 yrs ago, I'll use it now!

  • What a SMASHING junk and scrapbook journal! I love it!

  • I love, love, love your journal! I love how you made all the little pockets and flaps with the tape. Very nice!!

  • Super creative - I don't recall if I commented before but I watched this again because it's just so appealing. First, it's eye candy and second, everything about it is genuine, and that's what it's all about. Great job! Pam
