This is anecdotally interesting but the sound and picture quality are disappointing.
The guitar solo owes as much to the late Paul Kossoff as any of the other influences cited, and he pre-dates them by at least a decade (or two).

They don't listen to a lot of Mark Knopfler...they listen to a lot of Husker Du. I hope HD listens to them and realize how their legend lives on....

haha, Craig does sound drunk on this. At the time you may not have noticied, because It'd be like oh, this is how the song goes. But compared to the original recording, he sounds drunk as hell. LOL

The Hold Steady are my not-so-new favorite band and they completely rock!!!! All of their discs are flawless and achingly relevant to so many people's lives, but this song is by far the one that sticks....wow. Can't wait to see them live!!!!!!!!
