ah yuri my dear... the 90s were a great era. Emo was actually emotional. Full of anger, rage, vengeance and righteous indignation. Now? It's a joke. Grunge was good and powerful. It had life and tragedy. Now? FEH.
If you were around during the peak of Riot Grrrl, you would've been in heaven.
Everything sucks now. Even my poor beloved goth has been overwhelmed by S&M vampire pervs and emo poseurs.
I can only hope rockabilly and it's many subgenres aren't affected.
