making an assumption that any reasonable person would make that is that the numbers to the left of the equals are inputs to a function and the numbers on the right are the outputs of that function by recognizing a pattern that fits the function F(x) = 5^x. Now knowing that the output can be taken again as input it logically does not produce the original input. Given that 1 = 5 doesn't necessarily mean that 5=1. And to say otherwise makes the whole premise of the video false.

based on the information given the answer is not 1 but is 3125. with the information given anyone with half a brain can see that it is a 5 to the power of that number equation. 5`1=5 5`2=25 5`3=125 5`4=625  therefore 5`5=3125. just because 1=5 does not mean that 5=1.

Actually i would disagree with the 5 = 1 being the answer. If 1= 5, then we know that the = sign doesn't represent normal equality or that you just ommited a function so instead of righting f(1) = 5 you just did 1 = 5. In this case f(x) = f^x. f(5) = 3125 or as you wrote it, 5 = 3125.
