This was on a kids cd (sung by Willie Nelson) when I first started Starbucks. It came to be known I would play it on repeat while working. I'd sing it over the headsets when they wouldn't let me play it. Those were fun days!
Those guys that i know of are whatnots. I've also noticed they been performing country music somehow but they did have different voices when performing those country music songs.
Confused? Read this: Dad Ray Widow Redhead Dad+redhead married Ray+widow married (Confusing part) Redhead=Ray's daughter in-law so Dad=Ray's son in-law Redhead=Ray's mother as she's Dad's wife Ray has son Son=Brother in-law to dad as Ray is father-in-law to dad Son=Ray's uncle as dad's brother redhead's brother is Son so redhead=Ray's stepmother Dad has baby (Son2) so son2=Ray's granchild because redhead=stepmother, widow=grandmother Therefore, Ray is his own grandpa! Did I help you?
This was a Homer and Jethro song from the 1960's. I remember hearing this when I was a kid around 1968 or so along with "How much is that Hound-dog in the window?"
Starbucks had a children's cd when I began working there in 2004. Willie Nelson did this song. I used to sing it to my coworkers via the headsets. Great rendition, Muppets!! :-)
I think that they respected children's intelligence more back in the day. I worry to think about the future of all of these kids now on Ritalin watching dumbed down PC kids television.
I think it's more that a lot of modern shows are much mroe market oriented. They're made to sell candy/toys/whatever and that's going to mean that stories matter less than pushing product. And we probably had a lot of stupid shows too but we remember the good ones. Not saying you don't have a point, just that we might have hope yet.
a guy gets married with a girl and his dad gets married to that girls daughter and that makes his daughter his mom and because your dad to the daughter that makes you grandpa to yourself
awe!!! my sister and I had this tape up to about 2 years ago... we used to listen to this tape "silly songs" all the time in the car going for smoke rides.
Dumb arse! Freakin was not! The Muppets performed it in 1976, long before Willie Nelson. It was originally written by Dwight Latham and Moe Jaffe, performed by Lonzo and Oscar in 1948. Bloody Willie Nelson, what a wanker you are, he didn't perform it till 2001. Next time get your facts straight before you post lies - children read this site you know.

The song is older than that. The original version was a hit in the 1940s, but I can't remember who sang it.

@kittyprydekissme a belated answer to this but it was sung by Lorenzo and Oscar in 1947. It was written by Dwight Latham and Moe Jaffe,

Senator McCain, I'm not sure it was a wise decision to make this guest appearance. It might haunt you in your future political career.

The Muppet show was for both kids and adults. Unlike Sesame Street which is just for kids.

Actually there's nothing bad in the song, it's just a twisted relation. And you have to wonder about the age differences.

Yeah, you pretty much just have to listen to the first part where he marries the woman then his father marries the woman's daughter
