Put manual focus on. It'll improve your time-lapse.

At the moment, the automatic focussing is making some of the images look different.

I have a D90 and I thought it can't do time lapse. How did you do it?

Yeap. D90 cant do time lapse yet. It was all on "manual". Its better if u use wireless remote.
