Breathtaking. Where do you find this wealth of clips to post? Another question I have pondered and would like to open to discussion is: how is it that the technique for a ballerina has now demanded a very high half toe when off pointe? I find som of the running and walking passages inn some of these old clips quite lovely and natural.?

hi GariGold - the videos come from all sorts of places - often documentaries, which is why they are sometimes just a fragment of a whole. the technical demands are ever rising - you wonder that there must be a limit - but exlensions can now be so extreme that beauty and meaningfulness can be sacrificed - like your comment about high demi point
