I remember first watching the series in the mid-50's when I was 3-4 years old. When an episode without Noel was run I would think, "Too bad, we have the fake Lois today." Noel was my favorite Lois then and remains my favorite Lois to this day.

You know Neill and Reeve's Superman/Clark and Lois was just a good as Wellings and Durance's Clois.

Great clips; especially when she and " Jimmy " are in Egyptian costumes. Often overlooked is Noel's performance ( as " Lois lane " ) in the first film/s serial's " Superman " 1948 ( v/s the " Spider Lady " ) and " Superman v/s the Atom Man " 1950. And yes Noel has beautiful legs and figure which is really noticed in 1948's " Superman " where she has long hair and she wears a long skirt which has short side splits !!! You can buy the movies from Amazon as a double set which Im seeing now. Thanks.

@HARISHROSHAN i got mine at the movie gallery at the time . where they were able to let you buy movies you want to order from them. but they got rid of movie galley where i'm at. i had to pay 50 dollars for all the series. except for i brought the first season, at walmart. when it was having an superman celebration, or something.

y is her hair black at times and gold at times? smallville lane also had such confused portrayal 1st it was gold then black hair. What happened to phylis coats? y she did not come for season 2,3,4,5?

@HARISHROSHAN according to what i know, she decided to leave the 1st season. that's how noel neill came in. This one person, known her, from doing kirk alyn series, and she said she would love to do it, and she got the job. good question, i always wondered that to. im thinking she might of dyed her hair, or it just somehow went that way.

To be honest, Noel Neill had that kind of girl next door personality during the tv series. However, there was a certain bit of sexiness to her too, in my opinion. Plus, the woman, back in the day, had some very nice looking legs on her.
