@cheshireflyer Yes I am, and yes they are very inexpensive. They work great, but be sure to range test it first before flying, as with any new receiver. I give it a thumbs up.
It sounds like it has a 'hard cutoff' on the ESC. You can program it to a 'soft cutoff', which means when the lipo drops near the 3v/cell cutoff, the ESC will supply the motor with less and less power allowing you to get home.
The programming is the same as the older Turnigy ESC's (probably same internals)... where you enter programming mode by holding throttle up, listening for the beeps, and moving it back down. There are a number of instructions out there. Cheers,
Nice plane Jeff, that was a heck of a landing in that wind! Those biplanes are getting really popular right now, probably because their so much fun to fly, lol, nice flyin man.~Bob
That Dynam 1800mAh battery is a perfect fit for a transmitter battery. Only have to charge once a month! Great flight! I had a pitts S2A that I Ioved, but it's long gone now. Lucky I have a lot of videos of it on my channel! Very nice, have a happy new year and no crashing for 2012
Hi. Very nice.
Are using the small Orange receiver withoute satelite?
Seems to have loads of range. How do you rate this receiver. They are so cheap!

@WildBobsRC I really like it! And it inspired Dave to bust out his 'ol Christen Eagle and get that flying again. They're both great fun to fly.
