  • you are awesome

  • Also one more thing with all your lights. If my last comment didn't work. Try pointing a few of your lights straight up but right near where you are going to be filming. That also works very well. Good luck

  • Ok Bret i have the both the lights that you showed at the start. Now what i found that really works is. To just have two lights and point them right at you. Like one from each side. I am not sure what kinda light bolbs you have. But I got the brightest ones which seem to work very well. It almost seems like you have too many lights. Just message around with the two lights. And look in the picture of the camera like before you record and make sure it looks like you can't see that you have lights

  • yeah i just got a new camera and am trying to figure out lighting in which i only use the lights in my room as of now.

I think with good lighting my quality will be crisp.

I'm also trying to figure out a makeshift wide-angle lens which is probably impossible.

  • i'm trying to figure out lighting too.

  • cool

  • wow

  • good use of ur money lighting can b a bitch to set up i no a lot about lighting and the best way to tell what one light is hitting onto is to turn off all lights but the one u are working on and point them at the subject for each one. As to have ur light not hit the wall/ subject like u have in the background get a piece of cloth or something light in material but not to light get 2 cloths pins from your cloths line or what ever n clip the material/diffusion on it and u have better lighting

  • coooooooooooooooooooool nice 5 stars

  • niceee 5*

  • hahaha niice =D

  • Hi

    Not easy Lighting well.

a few shadows make it look more natural though.

But you realy need 1000 watt halogens, the outside spot kind of thing that people have with sensors in their yard.

Plus think about the type of light.

Flurescent strip type light's produce a much whiter light, you'll always get a kind of orangy tint from normal house bulbs.

Big sheets of card coverd in Alumimium foil can reflect light back, good for close ups .

    Great you're thinking about it.

    Cheers Dale

  • cool

  • I posted, Please sub me back now

  • move the 2 lights on the left then it is okay

  • wow cool vdo

  • i think if you move the 2 lights on the left and right over a little bit it would be perfect, just do you cant see where they're shining directly on the wall.

  • adigitalb made a good video on lighting. That might help you out.

  • Nice lighting!
