  • Careful with those twisty ties... They have metal inside them usually

  • get some clamps for those barbed fittings

  • always use nylon, glass, acrylic, or something along those lines that will not corrode...especially with saltwater applications.

  • forget the instructions dude. research overflow and sump operation and design your own plan for your specific use.

  • I like the clear tubing from HD better, as you can see the water/air flow.

  • eat something already, you're making me hungry...

  • Very smart i like.

  • so much for a surface skimmer...

  • lol dude your always hungry!! so far so good

  • hey were did u get the instructions to this? i want to make a sump even if i dont start a salt water tank

  • Big Black Snake Monster

  • instead of limiting your return pump witch is already to small to begin with just make a bigger drain go to 1 inch

  • Problem I was having is the 2 tubes in the overflow box. They were both working at about 40%. Now I just have 1 and its always filled with water coming from the tank. No need to regulator on the return now. If anything, I may need a higher GPH pump. No biggie though.

  • please get a tripod...

  • Bahahaha 0:31 / 9:54 Now i'm going to Hmmm eat !!!

  • next step is to..... get something to eat cause im hungry as shit! LOL nice vid man this helps me understand what im getting into doing this.

  • that twisty tie might get rusty after a while!

  • what are you using for your return pump?

  • Just threw the box out so im not sure of the brand.

  • Your tank is filling faster that your drain can keep up, like i said in my comment on vid 1 ya should 've used atleast 1' pipe, plus that nipple conn is your main downfall, next time you go to the depot look for refridgerator drip pans and they will have bulk heads on them(in plumbing) and if you are upgrading ya def should upgrade you return pump, you want around 300pgh Goodluck man!

  • what kiind of equipment are u using for sump dude?

  • All I used for the sump was a 10 gallon tank I had laying around. As I said in the video I picked up a plastic container from Target to place my rock rubble in. Thing of upgrading to a 20 for the sump though.
