@timurtuzel its beucase the bow is for long distance shooting. you have to get into the right positioning to use it, and that may mean taking damage if the enemy is closer. so you use the sling shot for short distance because ito use it u just point and shoot.

Do you know if there will be an actual pause menu so you can check your quest status and pause the game (pieces of heart, dungeon prize eg. medallions, quiver, wallet, size etc). I'm assuming there will be but the screen doesn't show the 1 and 2 buttons, I guess thats just because they don't need to show them because it may be obvious when playing the game.

there's alot more attention to detail in this than tp. like how detailed links shield is. also watch his hat when he walks and moves side to side. watch this than watch a tp video and look closely to link and you'll see how much better this link looks.

Bei der Wiimote gibt es keine Trennung zwischen links und recht :D (na ja....zumindest nicht bei Motion spielen). doch Link wird auch weiterhin das Schwert mit seiner rechten Hand schwingen und schild mit links...hmpf

Thing about motion controls is that they are a step back from normal controllers, they made them back then so all the input from the player would turn a simple action like pressing a buntton and translate it into a more complex action, like running, jumping, attacking, and everything else.

I hear you actually have to draw a bow in the air with the WiiMote to fire the bow, and that just sounds cumbersome, Zelda used to be about being able to quickly use a multitude of items whenever you need.

@RedYoshiReturns By strict definition, they are. Buttons incite binary values - they're either on or off. Motion controls function on co-ordinates and speed/acceleration. Tell me which is easier to understand and compute? Perhaps they are more intuitive, but I would say there's still a learning curve with learning exactly how to use them effectively. It would still take a good amount of time to adjust and master the motion controls in Zelda.

Like in Metroid Prime 3, you had to press buttons and move levers, while in Prime 1 you just scanned stuff.

The only Motion Control I actually care about in Skyward Sword is the Swordplay. Hopefully it's actually challenging, that video of Jimmy Kimmel made me have doubts in the Swordplay though.

@WhySoSeriousPPL I've been playing OoT3D lately, and honestly, changing the way you fight isn't going to make it more challenging. Enemies that can outsmart you and deal out some real damage is what makes it difficult. On Master Quest, I had to fight three Stalfos, each could do at least two hearts of damage with a normal attack, and three with a jump slash, I died several times.

They just need to make enemies competent and dangerous, not give us a new way of fighting them.

@SkellionPowalskiz Yeah. Although giving a new way of fighting them might not give a challenge, I'm hoping they find a way to do so. Like all enemies have patterns to them so that you can beat them, rather than making them all so you just have to slash them a certain way, they should give them different fight patterns, while making them more competent and dangerous. That way you wouldn't just have to worry about blocking their attacks, but also how to beat them. Read the next part.
