i would guess at least 70% of german pupils have anne frank in school combined with the geschwister scholl etc. furthermore i think they found it funny but to be p.c. didn't laught.
by the way, if you listen exactly some laught. besides i am german, i know the whole touchy subject and i laught my f***ing ass off, if you know what i mean ;) in this case it is just black humor, its internet, you don't have to listen it if you don't want to. under other surcomstances, e.g. in politics i wouldn't laugh. so thats my opinion ;)
by the way i recognized that germany has developed the last several years. our comedy gets blacker and blacker. even older generations get blacker. i guess they were black before but now it is no big deal to show it. and it is like in any other country. some allways want to be p.c. but in case of jokes about the late 30s and the beginning of the 40s i think it is right to laugh, cause if we are offended by that the nazis still win, cause the whole touchy subject is just in our heads. so laugh!
@blahonyou123 dem blacks are deh funny ones. OH YOU WERE IMPLYING BLACK HUMOR AS IN DEALING WITH SUBJECTS LIKE DEATH AND CRIMES AND OTHER METOPHRICALLY DARK THINGS LIKE THAT! Shit, now i look like a racist
I'm not German but even before he started the song I was thinking please Stephen don't sing it DON'T sing it..not 'here'..that was a cringe-worthy moment YIKES!!
@JustTry2Think yeah, i think they got it after he repeated the name a couple of time...and to be honest, it's not the best of the "diary songs".

ahhh. i thought they would. it's like a common known event in history. but i'm sure it is still a touchy subject. as we have our touchy subjects.
