@sunshine3508 Yes, there was a significant difference in sound level; however, it is not excessively loud. I have four 1/2" inch holes now. When you drill it out by hand, you should start with a 1/4" drill bit to get it started as well as centered. The 1/2" bit may bounce around and grab, so don't break your wrist lol.
Yes I love the fact that there is an exponential increase in torque, the more you twist that throttle and kick up those RPM's, the more she surprises you with a lot more power. Waiting for Michigan to show spring =(
once you drill the holes did it reall make much difference in the sound? and exactly what pattern was hole drilled first 7/16 or the 1/2 first?

My bike is identical to yours. I have a '96 with stock dual exhaust. I love the power and torque.
