At the time of the Gingrich interview shown in this clip, Gingrich was a private citizen whose company was hired by Fannie/Freddie; he was referring to the fact that Obama, Frank, Dodd and other Democrat politicians or cronies were receiving money from Fannie/Freddie. There is a HUGE difference between the two situations. "Intelligence" refers to the capacity to distinguish between such situations.

Newt Gingrich is taking money from Fannie and Freddie? I thought they entered into a contract with him to do work that assumably helped them run their affairs a bit less wastefully. On the other hand Dodd and Frank entered into possibly illegal deals with Countrywide and Fannie Mae. Frank lied to the American people saying that Fannie and Freddie were solvent and that taxpayer money was not at risk. Was Gingrich really privy to all information that members of the banking committee were?
