i wouldn't say they're even close to being legends. people don't come up with chants for all their big songs, like yellin out their names in unison and all that. DBSK's pretty popular, but i don't think it's a quarter of what HOT was

Obviously neither of you know how to speak either English or Korean. And you two obviously don't understand the concept of a pun. They meant it to mean both, they're being "clever" so your argument is retarded. iyah is actually a korean word for the sound you make when you're in pain like "ouch".They seperated it into "ahyee" which is a child in korean and "yah" which is like hey you! So it means both I'm a hardcore H.O.T. fan and also an english major and also korean. Don't try to test me.

Actually I agree with devil4everkim...Iyah is a sound you make when you feel pain, therefore the song title in english is basically "Pain." "Eh-dul" is the korean word for children...

"yah" in korean is like a calling phrase
so it's calling out to a child = "iyah" (ah-ee-yah):)

The fire that H.O.T. is referring to is the fire inside a child's heart...as shown in this translation.
And if it's supposed to be "Ah-ee-yah", why didn't they spell it that way? And why is it, that in many SBS shows and concerts, they space it out as I-Yah, therefore putting emphasis on the 'I'? ;)
