  • Moraccans make the best Arabic Music,...but they speak the worst Arabic!!!!!

  • wonderful;

    Masterly played. Thanks for loading.

  • oh my!!! this is really good. Ive always loved the sound of plucked strings and this is superb. I can see myself as a child just watching these men in absolute awe. I dont know what the other thing is called..the wide one..board like instrument. and even as he was just trying to tune the strings, it didnt sound off...like it was part of the music... the other thing that amazes me is that they're like a bunch of old friends having a lot of fun during their siesta...just like here in Philippines.

  • I'm curious as to where these guys are playing. It looks like a wayside cafe on the outskirts of town. But I still don't quite get it, is it a celebration? One thing is certain; if I had stumbled upon this performance on a casual country walk it would have been an experience of a lifetime. shokran, ευχαριστώ πολύ.

From a HOT AMERICAN who enjoys helping the people of Morocco educate others on their culture. Did you get hit in the head to many times by a ball? Your genius fails to captivate me.

  • Terrific well done, I agree do not let people like that ruin your music. great video. From Lomax in Australia

  • It's very beatiful, thanks for sharing it!

  • if that's your opinion, ok.

  • those are key words for silimar interests/instruments to pull up our video listing in many areas. Thank you for your additional key word suggest and name of it.

  • this is called a kanun, not dulcimer

  • beautiful!

  • دي البوسه بالعين تفرق

  • beautiful! at last, authentic arabic music. whenever i try to find arabic music i always come across silly plastic surgery obsessed women with zero talent and who are only notable for being pathetic pale imitations of white women. may these true mucisians share their traditional art with the world!

  • it's an egyptien song of the singer mohamed abdelwahab.

  • but the first part is iraki..

  • It sounds arabo-andalousian or even spanish-andalusian. Nice to see a moroccan kanoun player, it seems there aren't many of them in Maghreb.

    Respects.

  • moroccan music or just another copy cat?

  • what are the ancestries of Morrocan music? Is it really Arabic? Also I love it becuase I can here how this has alot of influence on my Flamenco, especially Zambra

  • merci

  • bravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravobravo.................................................

  • the begining was like Awal Hamza from farid al atrashe

  • it's great music

but there is no guitar !!!!!

    it's an OUD !!!!

  • I use many search words so more people will be able to enjoy the videos and find them easily while searching.

  • I'm from Israel, All my family (from my mother site) are from Morocco and I ear this music since I was a baby.

    It is a grate music.

  • the beginning was Greek, and then we can see the man on the dulcimer re-tune some of the strings before he went on to play the North African/Arab melody.

He has to re-tune because music in the Middle East (including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya) will often include notes that don't exist in Western music scales. Especially Egypt & Saudi Arabia.

    so beautiful!!!!!

  • Actually he must switch the microtones on the Qanun for each maqam (scale) it's not Greek its Andalucian music.

  • there was no greek in that it was all pure arabic

  • very southing!and somehow remind some of your childhood:-)

  • So relaxing and devine:))))

  • i love the melody T_T

  • i love morocco

  • Beautiful....!!!!!!!
