Finally, a threaded barrel version, so you don't have to pay to get it threaded or replace with a threaded barrel which effectively doubles the price of an already overpriced pistol. I'd buy one but the brown side panels and gun case are a big fail. Instead of a nice plastic durable case with foam cutouts inside, you get a plastic bag and a cardboard box. The side panels can be replaced, but for $350 I'd want more than a cardboard box, plastic bag, and foam holster.
@samthecat07 .22lr isn't expensive no matter what brand you're buying. Do you want accurate clean ammo to shoot or sloppy junk loads? If you're bothered by the price of .22 ammo I think you've picked the wrong hobby. Putting a $20 Walmart sight on a $500 pistol is just plain stupid. Comparing the Burris fast fire to a cheapo BSA is ignorant, I'm very interested in hearing how it's equivalent in any way.
@samthecat07 Your need to resort to petty name calling says everything about you that needs said. You've also succeeded in making it clear that you're to ignorant to realize that there's different models and price ranges for said models. You couldn't afford a Hunter or competition clearly. Besides, nobody gives a squirt of piss what you payed for it, only a douche bag would bring that up. They probably sold your dumb ass a scratch and dent model that didn't pass QC. LMAO!!!
@breezyatv90 Most would not recommend it, mostly due to reliability issues w/ the ammo. However if you have to use it, "you gotta do what you gotta do". I just saw a video of an old lady who scared off a robber with her antique .22 revolver.

How do you store the pistol? (I assume that you leave the sight attached and I know it will not fit in the stock Ruger plastic case).

Does it use the same magazines as the marks?
miacanes5 3 months ago
@miacanes5 It is a mark.

Does it come with the red dot
ike745 3 months ago
@ike745 That would mean Ruger is endorsing whatever manufacturer the sight is from. NO is the answer.

would this or any .22 pistol be a good self defense weapon?

@phantomshtter hey those squirrels are no joke!

I like the gun but a magazine disconnect safety is nothing to brag about. I hate Ruger for doing that.

@bcten22 What harm is that in a target pistol? Seriously, explain the disadvantage of this feature on a target pistol please.

What kind of red dot is that? I have the exact same pistol, except mine has iron sights. Thanks!
