GPU PhysX in Sacred 2 Ice & Blood

physx today is nvidia only, physx 2 or 3 years from now will be universal. if anyone reading this remembers mmx and its advantages at the time should be able to attest to this. while physx is currently available only on nvidia cards, even on games that use it they are not "optomized for nvidia", they just have physx support. enabling physx decreases performance speed just like any other graphics setting you might turn up, although with physx you do have to option of dedicating a card. (now=2010)

How demanding is this? The console version runs at 20-25 FPS average without PhysX in 1080p. I have a GTX 460, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an AMD Phenom II X4 955.

i'v seen better physics by my computer's CPU in Crysis... this is just a bunch or particles..

Give the game some credit, its older than crysis...

I know Crysis and the graphics are awsome, but if you compare that style of game and engine with this one, you gotta admit that its pretty well done. Sacred 2 Fallen Angel and Blood Ice have some pretty graphics on max and with physX on.

In your graphs option, put everything on max, make sure you have the latest drives and physX too. Remove the old phyX folders from your pc and install the new version, reboot and that should do it, I think.

You could probably just fake the physics in this game anyway doesn't really add anything except the overuse of leaves.

i lmfao when all the leaves flew around by simply walking. there is such a thing as overdoing the particle thingy.
