I assume you are referring to the poly-rhythm comment, not my exchange with checkabreak.
Listen to the opening bars - the bit that sounds like Jean Michel Jarre. There is a pulsing base and "snare/hi-hat" percussion rhythm, that's in 4/4 time. There are 4 bass beats to the bar.
Now listen to the staccato pings that play over the bass. if you count them there's 10 notes played for every 4 bass beats. That's 5/4 time.
This is a polyrhythm - two time signatures at once: 4/4 and 5/4
The synth? It's not a sample that I recognise, but it made me think of Jean Michel Jarre straight away. Stuff like Oxygene Pt 4 has that kind of thing in the background, maybe sift through Oxygene & Equinoxe.
@kem1kal check my mix. n ungodly mixture of wonky beats, synth lazers, anime samples, scientific yet spiritual spoken word and basslines from the bubbling to the obscene. Cerebral, heavy-rolling and jaw-droppingly skilled, Calling All Gods is one hour and forty minutes of pure audio hypnosis. Featuring the likes of Samiyam, Digital Mystiks, Flying Lotus, Jamie Vexd, Dibiase, Ken Shiro, Dimlite and many many more.
I once had a sick Best Of Warp Album on double cd but I lent it to someone who lent it to someone who offered it to me to borrow.
I was gonna borrow it and keep it seeing as it was mine but the first disc looked like it had been used as an ice skating rink for obese stag beetles!!!
This song made me get up and open my door...

FlyLo is so amazing. He's one of my main inspirations for music production aside from Aphex Twin and DJ Shadow.
