  • Both of the albino babies born in Amboseli are boys, per Cythia Moss, Dir. of the Amboseli Trust for Elephants.

The active guidance & supervision from the mothers just shows how intelligent the elephants are; they are able to think similar to how we think. The little baby's mother, who sports 2 huge, curvey tusks, obviously knew he's still too small to get too close to slippery water edges; that's why she gently pulled him from it with her trunk.

  • Gorgeous little boy. Noticed some very good parenting skills, as the mother or auntie pushed the baby back from the water. Wonderful to observe.

  • She's beautiful! I can see why white elephants are considered good luck!

  • Please support ban on wild animals in UK circuses and CPS vs Billy Roberts Circus

  • The baby got too close to the waters edge and one of the older elephants moved her back with her trunk! That was so awesome.

  • How absolutely lovely, how can people harm these incredible creatures?

  • Thanks ATE!

  • Love theway the other elephant tries to stop the baby from going into the water :P

  • how sweet, his ears are soooooooooo darling

  • Sure he's albino and not just leucistic? I can't tell real well from the film, but his eyes don't look albino.

  • Julep is so adorable! Wow. Thanks for the share!
