Both of the albino babies born in Amboseli are boys, per Cythia Moss, Dir. of the Amboseli Trust for Elephants.
The active guidance & supervision from the mothers just shows how intelligent the elephants are; they are able to think similar to how we think. The little baby's mother, who sports 2 huge, curvey tusks, obviously knew he's still too small to get too close to slippery water edges; that's why she gently pulled him from it with her trunk.

Gorgeous little boy. Noticed some very good parenting skills, as the mother or auntie pushed the baby back from the water. Wonderful to observe.

She's beautiful! I can see why white elephants are considered good luck!

The baby got too close to the waters edge and one of the older elephants moved her back with her trunk! That was so awesome.

Sure he's albino and not just leucistic? I can't tell real well from the film, but his eyes don't look albino.
