  • the animals probably made better parents than the children's real moms and dads.

the others that survived on their own...wow, they've got some skills!

  • This is amazing!!!!! Unfortunately, actual people raised with other people act like savage animals as well, even with the fortune of growing up with humans.

  • Excellent video. I wonder though...did the prof catch the Remus/Romulus gaff? I hope you scored well, regardless.

  • this is creepy as hell.....and that thing about 250 ad with the she goat made me think of all the historical events that have occurred.....imagine if video cameras had been around since the beginning

  • This is basically the story of all negro children.

  • @TheBrewskiBaby Asshole.

  • ME TARZAN YOU JANE

  • Being raised by dogs she must be a very humane, caring, and empathetic person, as the average dog has a great deal more of those things then the average person.

  • Pfft and there's most human beings thinking they have more power and prority than animals. Just shows we're the same and shoudn't be treated any different.

  • 16 feral children missed the like button..great video btw thumbs up :)

  • The Romulus and Remus legend is Roman, not Greek. The myth explains the birth of Rome and its first king, Romulus.

  • I found a feral child in my backyard once,so I nurtured him with my He milk.He grew up to be a strong boy and is very fond of fingering buttholes.

  • Awesome video...great job! :)

  • I'm in love with this song.

  • we did this in school today in R.E it was strange :S

  • untrue.Genie knew how to to talk but her father made not to.by barking at her.

  • this is a fascinating topic

  • tarzan is feral i guess..hehe

  • BULLSHIT!

  • Thanks. But that Oxana story was a fake.

  • @TaZuMa90

no it wasnt that was true, it has been on the news before

  • @TheCassiejade

We have russian-tv & few years ago, that girl said in an interview that her parents forced her to play a "dog-girl" ... for the money ;-)

  • there seem to be quite a lot of feral children found in France...

  • This is called liberals. They're on TV all the time.

  • the romolo and remo legend is actually roman!

  • the romolo and remo legend is actually roman!

  • great background music

    so touching:'(

  • I have been fascinated with feral children.I knew a family that adopted a feral boy.Very good video. You did a nice job with it

  • NIGGER

  • is this supposed to make me sad i know this sucks for some of them but getting raised by animals is half bad they probably look up to Tarzan but isolation thats bad and that sucks but wat was the point of putting this on youtube

  • "In Search of Wild Children (1980)"

  • sad

  • this makes me sooo fucking mad i wanna brutally and slowly torture those grandparents for what they did to that kid so they can have a little taste of what they really deserve.... sorry but going to jail and sleeping in a warm bed and eating 3 meals a day isnt good enough for me as punishmet they deserve to fucking die!

  • I have heard of cases where children are wild cause they have been confined in a room. Now i dont believe that an animal can raise a child. How would the child survive the environment and many other hard ships impossible.

  • hardship one word ....

  • @HBetta Why wouldn't it survive? I mean, if whatever animal the child was discovered by didn't kill the child right off the bat, it's not a far stretch for it to adopt the child as such. Especially in pack animal situations, dogs, apes, that sort of thing...there are all sorts of cases of dogs or other such animals "adopting" other animals (dogs who begin taking care of an abandoned cat for example), why would a person in that situation be so different?

  • @ZarathustrasCrown are you serious??? Cubs walk within weeks and babys take months. A human cant be raised by an animal period, i appriciate and respect your opinion, but it makes no sence, cubs have fur to keep warm when mom goes hunting babies would freeze. Lets just say a baby is adopted by an animal, it wont have teeth to eat raw meat for months milk wont be enough to survive. thousands of years of evolution have made animals capable to withstand certain things we cant humans need shelter.

  • @HBetta It's because of our capacity for thought, for a woman to shove out a fully developed human would rip her in half. In most cases, milk is plenty to survive, hell, I was raised on breast milk alone for my first full year. By the time they'd NEED teeth if there was nursing, they'd have them. This would seem more likely with primates I would think, IF they accepted the baby and were in the tropics, it would be completely possible. PROBABLE? no...but possible...

  • @ZarathustrasCrown However, there have been reports of wild children because they were severly neglected. They were left alone in a room so they dont know how to talk and interact with people.

  • @HBetta Well, there's been reports of both...it's confirming them (since most come from less developed countries) that's the real issue. It's obviously not LIKELY to happen involving animals, but it's rare for a real infant to be involved, most times I've read of feral children they were already weaned well before they ended up in the wild, 2 or 3 years old for example...you're right an infant would almost certainly die, but since most of these cases involve toddlers and up it's a bit different

  • I feel so bad for the feral children...my heart goes out to them more than any other kid

  • Romulus and Remus isnt Greek its Roman, Romulus eventually killing his brother and founding the Eternal City.

  • Whats the song?

  • look at the credits stupid

  • dont like the music,,,

  • In My country , there is a a girl from a village who was lost in the jungle and 12 years later , she was found in the same junglle but she that time , she already have a charecteristic of a monkey and was completly naked .

  • mogli survived by learning the bear necessities

  • LMAO!

  • really cool video man

  • I LOVE THE MUSIC, I love Cello solos! Remember the name?

  • Really well done, mate, I hope you got a good grade on this. Fascinating and informative. Very nice work :D

  • The legend is not Greck, is Roman. It starts with the Troians but it`s a Roman legend about the foundation of the the city Rome. On the other hand "lupa", that means wolf in latin, also means hooker in latin. They could`ve been raise by a wolf or a prostitue.

  • thnx for saying it...i couldnt believe it said greek haha

  • He's right as far as it being a Roman legend.

  • They're dr00ds!!!

    Feral ofc!

  • I think this is a very excellent project! You did a good job with the pictures and the music! I hope you got a good grade - you deserve it!

  • i hate romans

  • There was a children's book on Victor of Averyon in the Lenoir City library. I read it 2 years ago, and I was driven to tears

  • i like your project..it's really well done. only..Romulus and Remus are a Roman legend not Greek! :)

  • Romans copied virtually everything from the Greeks from art to architecture to gods (bearing different names yet possessing the same powers and other characteristics), so it is not unlikely that your knowledge ends with the Romans. However, further research would, more than likely, yield the revealation that they are in fact ORIGINATED by the Greek. Just my guess!

  • Even so, Remus and Romulus were, according to myth, the founders of ROME, which was derived from Romulus's name. One of the few, original Roman tales.

  • oh yeah so if you're strapped to a potty with a harness, kept inside a locked cot or forced to stay inside a tiny room, kennel or chicken coop then you're really going to get up and walk around.

  • y you ppl taking this so seriously..... i doubt this will happen again for another few yrs

  • Really? I take it you attend an American school, then.

  • I can only watch this without the music,. It is so touching and it makes me feel sad

  • Because then you'd complain about how his/her voice sounded. If you don't like it, why waste your time replying.

Great use of vocabulary, by the way... it really shows off your IQ. Very respectable critic, you are.

  • The song is very impressive. Nonetheless, I don't know why do you use such a song fulled of sadness for the background music.

By the way, there is one curious thing wanted to ask you.

*What is the name of the song played from 4:26-4:45?

I wish you can reply me very soon. Thanks a lot for your attentions!

  • Why wouldn't melancholy song fit the stories?

  • Comment removed

  • the legend of romulus and remus is NOT greek it is ROMAN look it up that is the only mistake you have made.

  • Its actually Etruscan (early romans, before rome was established). See capitoline wolf, famous work of Etruscan art depicting it.

  • very interesting presentation, good job

  • Interesting. Oprah did a good show on this recently.

Trying to be constructive here, the way the written descriptions unfold one cap at a time is exhausting. Almost made me nauseous. Only my opinion though.

  • Okay, I'll keep that in mind for any future projects. Thanks for the constructive critisim ^^

  • As I understand it, Jeffrey Baldwin was a case of horrid neglect, but not a feral child case.

(I live near Toronto and followed the case in the newspaper)

  • This was a very good projectt, :] good jobb

  • what if you where rasied by sloths that be tight

  • This does raise a good question, could humans grow up without the help of our human parents, not themselves and live a normal life. I think not.

  • really could job this is an amazing topic that few people now about.

    this video explains quite alot

    -myah age 13

  • Thank you ^^

  • good video .. it is good to put these on here so that people are aware of the issues ... thanks ... As the world dips into a 1930's style depression ... maybe we'll all stop and notice what is important and that is fellow mankind ... not the best or most expensive possessions ... a 1930's style depression will re-base our moral compass

  • Genie has to be the saddest of these.

  • wait i dont know about oxana either

  • i know of all of them exept jeffrey

  • how did you get to know about them

  • i learinng about them in school

  • oh ok.

  • romulus and remus were in the Roman mythologie, not in Greek.. they founded the city of Rome..

  • yea romulus and remus fought. romulus killed remus and thats y rome is called rome. you're a smart cookie. its refreshing to see someone who's knowledgable.

  • wait wait wait...genie DID learn to pronounce many words

  • perfect song for this vid

  • i know right...bring out the violins

  • as people of the globe we must be vigilant for the sake of these poor neglected human beings so that any other children out there will be found and helped before it is too late for them also... their carers must be imprisoned for the rest of their life so that this injustice will never happen again..................

  • The music was annoying and neede more production.

  • yeah but the acutal first words were no more and stop it being negative maybe in resulting from her father's abuse

  • Genie did learn to speak. She knew about a hundred words, then when she was put back with her mother, she lost most of them. Though she knew words, she could never communicate, but yeas she learned to talk, its on film. Her first word, Doctor.

  • Wasnt that Genie girl from the movie ''Mocking bird dont cry'' I dont know the exact title

  • I'm not sure. But it's possible that there could have been a movie based on her.

  • Yes, the movie "Mockingbird Don't Sing" was based on Genie's life.

  • Yes, the movie "Mockingbird Don't Sing" was based on her life.

  • Erm... the Romulus and Remus legend was ancient Roman - Romulus founded Rome, hence the similarities in the words

  • We lable these children "feral" when the ones who need to be labled are their insane parents for abusing, neglecting or abandoning them!!!!!

    What the h**l??????

  • Actually many of the parents who "abandoned" there children that were raised by animals didn't have a choice, read carefully and you will see that many were killed in war and the childrens natural instincts of fear loud noise made them flee. Now Genie is different that was a pretty sick case.

  • What the heck!?!?!?! I didn't put the other comment there!?!?why the heck would I say it was funny there must be a mastake or something. I know it's real it is SAD!

so I have no idea how that comment got there!

  • Mmmm hmmm O_o

    ...weird.

  • Funny!

But if that is real then sad!

  • It is real. And even if it wasn't why would it be funny?

  • ictal denial perhaps...

  • That was cool but very sad:(

  • Informative video. Can anyone tell me what the song after "Silver Rain Fell" is? It sounds like the Vitamin String Quartet....

  • Didn't I put it in the credits? o_O I don't know, I can't even remember.

    But it's Pandemonium by Apocalyptica. I don't know if I spelt that right though. Sorry ^^;

  • Thanks very much!

  • No problem ^-^

  • what does feral mean?

  • similar to or typical of a wild animal, or living wild

  • good video... but im pretty sure that silver rain fell by evanescence was in there..

  • Yeah, sorry about that guys ^^; I was just a bit rushed on the whole project that I guess I was just trying to get it done rather than read everything over and made sure all the facts were staraight.

  • lmao

  • Greek?! It was roman

  • actually its both

in the roman myth they are the sons of rhea and mars

and in the greek one they are the sons of ilia and ares or something like that

    basically the same thing

  • still it is classed as roman mythology

  • You should re-word the part about Jeffery weighing 21 pounds. the way it's written it looks like your saying a healthy 1 year old is more than 37 inches tall. i don't know about you but i've never seen a 3 foot tall 1 year old.

  • Just one prob, Romulus and Remus are the founders of ROME. They are from ROMAN mythologly. But yea, they were raised by a she-wolf.

Other than that, really cool vid. Hope u won something for it! :oD
