@LANDnLIFE Thank you. The blade is 3/16 5160 steel. The balance is right about where the back of the leaf shape starts to come in. About an inch or inch and 1/2 above the handle. A little top heavy.

Thank you. That is a copy off a particular Smatchet that was used in WWII. Believe it or not, it's really pretty comfortable in the hand. Chris
