FYI, I am no longer on cricket, so I'm really unable to provide help. It's been six months, they really should have gotten something out by now. If you can't get this to work, I'd recommend either switching carriers to one that does provide mac drivers, or getting something like a CradlePoint PHS300 which does work with the A600.
Thank you so much for this. I just brought my MAC yesterday and the Genius Bar was trying to figure this out and came across your video! Thanks much as Cricket just sent me on my way saying that its not compatible w/ Snow Leopard.
I did exactly what this says... and it recognizes the modem and everything however when I try to connect it pops up a grey box that says "select network" with an ok button... and there are no options to select a network... any advice?
If you're talking about the Cricket connection manager, double check that your device is named Cricket Broadband, I'm pretty sure that spelling and capitalization is important. If that doesn't work, try renaming another of the CMOTECH devices to Cricket Broadband and see if that works.
I have an issue after setting this up - when I restarted, my Wacom Intuos 4 is not being recognized properly so that it's own drivers load. Must have something to do with what this touches re USB? Can I revert?
First off, I am a new Mac user. Yes, please get you laughes out. I was wondering if you come clean and tell me if this will harm my new Macbook pro in the future? Just wondering. I trust you but you can never be to sure. Oh, wait you somewhat can cause you have a Mac. lol Please message me back and again, thanks for posting this really informative video. I will post it to my Facebook account to help you out. Thanks again.
I can't guarantee anything, but so far I haven't heard anything bad that happened. The script was taken from their installer and modified the version check to allow 10.6.

You can remove the kernel extensions CDFree.kext and DevGuruVsp.kext from /System/Library/Extensions.

The download location is in the annotation at the start of the video.

For some reason, I can't post a link in a comment, even though I'm the video's creator.
