Also, let the Marine Corps know that it would greatly improve morale if they shut down (yes close down) Camp Lejeune and move the entire 2nd MEF (2nd Marine Air Wing, 2nd Marine Division, and the 2nd FSSG) down to Jacksonville, FLORIDA vs the dumpy little town of Jacksonville, North Carolina. That in and of itself would make for alot happier Marines. Jacksonville was #2 on the list of reasons that I decided to get out of the Marine Corps ALONG with alot of other former Marines that I know.

@fmrndiguy2005 I visited a friend at Camp Lejeune in the early-mid 90s. I couldn't wait to get off that base and out of that town. It made Fort Eustis look like a country club...
