Covering your child when it is cold i can understand. In most of her videos it just seems like she wants to hide her baby. At least she is out there trying to help other women during a rough time. The first 3 months can be very hard for most first time mothers. Again i would advise a Moby Wrap. It keeps the baby warm since it is near your skin and it can cover you when breastfeeding. I wonder if she gets a poor response from people when she is in public breastfeeding. If so people are dumb.

breastfeeding is not a way into hell first of all if you read the bible it speaks about breastfeeding, that is ONE of the ways God intended the breast for... People allow their minds to be perverted and "boys" first of all don't see breastfeeding mothers anymore because women either A) cannot breastfeed b/c their body will not allow them to or B) they are just lazy, but there are all sotrts of reasons... Secondly you were obviously intersted in this as well or you would not have been looking!

i think this is wonderfull more moms need to brest feed anf for longer time, brest milk is good for childen till they are 5, i mean you dont have to BOOB feed it to the older kids(like 3-5) but why not pump and put it in a cup

I also resent the fact that this video series suggests that the only "polite" way to breastfeed in public is to throw a blanket over him so that no one has to see it. These videos are handy if one was interested in ways to disguise breastfeeding, but the series should be retitled to exclude the word etiquette.

There are much much better carriers to facilitate breastfeeding. Bjorn has to be one of the worst in terms of ease of use, adaptability, breastfeeding accessibility and the health of infant and adult spine/ posture.

Though I do thank you for promoting both holding babies close and breastfeeding. And I understand that it is always possible to demonstrate with a live infant, but it would support your credibility as an 'expert' (i.e. expert village) if you had a real infant.

I'm a nervous new mum and my baby has very erratic and frequent feeding patterns so I rarely leave the house. Attitudes to breastfeeding have to change. Flashing or going about topless is a (mad) choice - feeding a baby is a necessity. Comments like the one from GummehBear88 don't make it any easier for me to start getting out and about. Women should be encouraged to do what's best for their baby not derided for it. The same people would tut and complain if my baby was screaming with hunger!
