  • not to be rude, but you have to hold your hands straight before you begin, by your technique i did 63 on first try, by the correct technique i do 17 (and im 14 too)

  • uhm.. your not suppose to go all the way down with your arm.. bend them like 180 degrees when your at your lowest. dont swing your legs, they should actually be bent back crossed and no swingin at all

  • I'ts obvious by the look of you body you are doing things right. How is your nutrition? You can build muscle with garbage food and build excellent muscle with the nutrients your body needs. Also keep in mind overdosing on body building is not healthy. Obsessive anything is not healthy. Stay slim, toned, ripped but take it from me, ODing on weight training is just as intrusive to your life as drug and alcohol use. Moderation is key here. Food, proper food is a life long choice: choose well.

  • Those are chinups, and you are kicking. Try having your palms facing away from you, and don't kick. Kicking like you are is easy, I can do around 80 with what you are doing, but only about 30 strict form.

  • @007therawr fully extending is called a dead-hang. But I fully agree on everything else.

  • @ImpulsiveRush well to get the actual FULL effect of the pullup, fully extendingis the key, rising yourself up and the going down all the way gives you the better stretch and is harder

  • i really like what you do, im 13 and am trying to get in the best possible shape i can be in. you already ready have a nice body and im sure it keeps improving but even though im not as "ripped" as you, i know that if you eat alot, you can turn it into muscle easy. looking at you i see your skinny so i think you should eat a little more and im 100% sure you'll start to gain mucle very fast.

  • Im sorry but that arent pull ups you are not going all the way up and all the way down.. An cross your legs because you are helping your body getting up if you are moving them...

  • I know pull ups are harder but man you gotta have technique. Some tips, dont move your legs when goin up. Your just giving yourself momentum. Another go all the way down. Your pull ups will look alot more impressive and you may see better results. And try not to stop as much. Try those and you'll go alot farther and people wont be ragging on you as much

  • @meeblo8 Yes I do them very crappy looking back at this video I can do 21 PERFECT all the way down all the way up legs not moving at the time all I cared was of the number which lead to me doing bad pull ups I will do a pull up update video to show you the improvements thanks for commenting though!

  • pullups are meant to work your lats so try doing them with your arms out not in. the way youre doing them is similar to doing a chin up because your bicep is being used too. search "Elbow position during pullups" and look at scooby1961's video

  • dude when you do your pull ups extend your arms all the way and pull your chin above or equal to the bar. also for your own improvement get a bar that spins, I have that iron gym and i only use it when i travel because it makes them too easy. just some advise.

  • Dude i see your pretty strong and flexible, but at least make your pull up's the right way.......You just need to lower your body down so your body is worked out fully and then you then raise your head above the object you pull yourself up in. ........keep up the good work dude;)

  • Hey man, sorry to say this but you have to do it slowly and not fast, i've seen alot of videos on youtube and you does it fast, and thats okay of an new bodybuilder but when your going to do heavy than take 30 slowly.

    after one month you'll see the differents :D

  • The aim of pull ups is all the way to the TOP and all the way to the BOTTOM, it's not how much u do..it's the way u do it. I do 50 but slowly up and down to build up muslce, in all honesty what u just did didn't do anything, no offence just letting you know

  • You really need to do proper pull-ups. It is impressive to do this many, but next time try going all the way down every time and keep your legs perfectly still ( no kicking). This should reduce your pull-ups to about 15 reps but works your body so much better! Keep training and getting bigger!

  • cheat pull ups because you didn't go down all the way, you only went about half way, you were kipping (kicking for momentum), and they weren't consecutive, you took breaks. just some constructive criticism.

  • Hi guy. I love your enthusiasm for working out. The results are obviously showing up. When you took off your shirt off for the exercise portion of this video I went "wow" is that the same guy I watched before. Your physique is not only ripped but the muscle bellies are beginning to fill out as well. Take care of yourself. Please don't over train. It weakens your immune system and you will catch colds more easily and lose more training time than if you take it a little easier.

  • You are an inspiration for your watchers. Seem to be a really nice person too, a refreshing change from a lot of the little punks on YouTube anymore... Only suggestion I have is leave the shirt off all the time. A build like you have doesn't need to be covered up.

  • Don't use deodorant. Old deodorant is what smells when it plugs your pores. Just shower enough to rinse off the perspiration.

The exercise would be more effective, though, if you did fewer reps, but made the moves more complete.....what I mean is, going all the way down and then pulling up in a smooth, controlled way.   • While it might sound weird and look weirder try putting a weight plate (start light) in a backpack, then put it on, then exercse. I ran across a guy doing it for pull ups and pushups and I had one of those light bulb moments, why didn't I think of that. It seems to work for him. If I can find it back I post a link.
