You're right we dance like them, as do many others. That's part of doing the dance styles related to popping. There's hundreds of dancers around that dance like this.

We just happen to be one of the few crews who do routines like this (as is U-min), so of course we will be compared to them. They are huge inspirations for us and there's no doubt that they are extremely highly skilled. We never claimed to be better than them, just different :)

It's not about the dance, it's about the execution of the dance. Yes - they use moves that others have done before but when you look at the preciseness of the moves and the whole package - that's the reason they are so good. If you don't believe me the check out what the Beatles said about Joe Cocker singing their songs!

There are so many things similar between Shift-1 and Umin its not funny, so many ideas have been copied and aren't even reproduced to the same level as Umin's talent.

But hey if the guys can't come up with their own ideas so be it, they are still having fun and enjoying themselves that is all that matters, nothing is original now a days.

a lot of things probably look similar because both crews do animation styles of Popping. Look at 'Hip-Hop' crews, most look very similar too. There's enough differences that the two groups are unique. I've never seen U-min do a show in the style of Shift-1.

Shift 1 is A LOT more exciting than U-Min, even though they might be more experienced, Shift 1's performances are VERY VERY Exciting.

While shift 1 are very good, they have a long way to go to reach Umins standard. I'm not taking anything away from them mind you,since although they did a few Umin tricks, they did it with thier own style. All I would suggest is make the moves a bit cleaner, and make sure the sync is perfect. Still, very good and impressive performance.
