CyberLink PowerDirector 8 Tutorial 1080p

I downloaded some video material in 1080p and made movies with them but when i produced it and uploaded to youtube they had shrunk, do you know how to fix it?

Does anyone know if you can adjust the blending option on the watermark. Similiar to photoshop blending options, for example multiply, overlay, burn, ect.. ???

Hello this is an awsome guide that learnt me alot! ive just gotted the cyberlink power director and i got one problem when i go to the particle room and click download template and ive downloading it and when im trying to put it in to power director its says something like u have 4,9 somthing and you gotta change it to 16,9 to use this template do you know waths wrong? should be awsome if u helped me out! @DemonXY2J Thats normal the video was just compressed but it will look the same all video editors do this.

Is it bad idea to render with "YouTube" button?

@CTPAX92 It matters what kind of quality you want if you click the youtube button it will only allow you to render in 720p. If you do it the way I do it you can go up to 1080i.

@legendaryreviews well.. Mostly nobody using 720+.. Usually everyone stick to 480p when watching all videos on youtube.

@CTPAX92 True since I have a good connection I have got used to watching youtube videos in 720p. I never really use 1080i but it’s nice to have. I also don’t like that it says uploaded with cyberlink under the video when you click the youtube button.

how do i put clips ? i mean say i want to make a music video of a movie like saving private ryan . how will i cut cairten parts of the video to take the few parts i want and add them to the video ?

@taslinkarmout Go to the time line go to the part you want to split and click the split tab or you can highlight it copy then past it. It’s not that much more complicated than movie maker.

@sxr951 Yes just import it with cyberlink if the format is supported it will work if not just convert it with windows live movie maker then put it in.

why dont you upload the videos that are in cyberlink powerdirector straight from the program itself, the youtube tab when you click produce file allows u to upload videos to youtube but u gotta sign into director zone

thanks for the vid. I just wanted a quick tutorial on rendering a video and you did that for me

also a note 1080p and 1080i are not the same

1080p > 1080i 1080i is just slightly better than 720p.

This is probably an standard editing option that programs offer, but does PowerDirector allow you to make a video play at 2X speed. Meaning, make a video that's usually 10 min long, be only 5 min long after rendering.
