  • Spun bearings are caused by lack of oil,missed oil changes or over revving.

  • check the valve inside the air intake mine had the same noise

  • Nothing wrong! It's evolution... It's a gasoline engine evolving to a highly superior diesel engine.  You have more torque now.

    or maybe the camshaft chain is overpassed

  • Crank bearing is spun, 100%. Same thing happened on my 06 2.3L.

  • I have a feeling that Mr. Lube put the wrong oil in the car. It is the first time I got an oil change from them... 6,000 km later, the engine was toast. When the Mazda dealer drained the oil, it was pitch black and runny like water.

  • @candal82 does that mean the engine is toast my moms car sounds like this n the dealer said its still under waranty and he was saying something about the bearing
