I had the Strawberry Shortcake LP with these songs on it when I was 7 ~'83. I listened to it all the time. I never got to see a lot of these episodes, since nobody had cable back then. I would have loved it if they'd have made more shows.

That Big Apple City song sounded like a Beatle's song. SSC cartoons ROCKED. WHY didn't she ever get the credit she deserved?? WHY didn't she ever get her own syndicated cartoon show like Rainbow Brite or My Little Pony? She was certainly as popular!

I hope this is not taken wrong- I like how these specials included different races and nationalities. It incorprated them very asthetically. Nowadays everything is so p.c. about that- it isn't as well-done. (pardon the baking pun. LOL)

I like this episode because I liked Orange Blossom's character. It's the only time she was ever focused on.

wow so creepy. I used to have this on a record when I was a kid. I never actually got to see it. I didn't have a clue what was going on but I was fascinated by the voice work. It's strange to a) finally be able to see it b) understand it c) hear it again when I had memorized every nuance but haven't heard it in over 20 years. Thanks for posting!

I never saw the video for this one(not too surprising, since this was made about ten years before I was born). I'd always rent the first and forth special when I lived near a rental place that had it, thank you for posting it. I love the friends song in this.
