Here is a good tip about it.You should use Rebellion in the whole fight and when you hit Vergil with one move(best is stinger)and make him unable of using attacks then swits into beowulf and kick his ass.By using Beowulf it will be easier for him to kill you but if you use Rebellion you will be faster in a fight.

-Vergil gains new abilitys

-if you shoot him he'll throw his sword at you

-when vergil uses devil trigger he uses one of his ultimate ability

A:when you shoot him he teleports and does 1 Slash dimension,but if he teleports and you didnt shoot him or he blocked your attack he does 3 slash dimensions i find trickster best suited for avoiding that triple slash dimension

that cool i finished that game 3 years ago..so here a cheat code for playstation 2 only for all users. Firstly go to start game,then

hold L1 L2 R1 R2 together then while holding these buttons circulate R3 & L3. If you hear a voice that said "devil may cry" that means that it is correct.

its a cheat code for getting all different types of clothes that dante can wear.there is one especially that can make dante after mission 7, remain the devil..it will never finish. you can always remain devil.

Just beat this mission, its funny I tried it last night like 20 times and kept dying and I too was using vital stars and shit so this morning I stocked up on items by replaying the first mission and then I beat this mission first try without using even one. I guess I shouldnt play games at 3:00 oclock in the morning, i almost broke my box last night.

i tend to use quicksilver for vergil. whenever you are in a pickle, just time lag and haul ass outta there. good for knocking him out of dt as well. and really helpful when dodging his random judgement cuts.

I found something to help you, you need to have Sword Master style on but you can send the sword back by throwing rebellion at him as he throws Sparda's sword, it will knock it back

Quick silver is cheap and easy way to beat him with no hits, I used Sword Master and beat him with no hits on me, not sure how except when he threw the sword I knocked it back by throwing rebellion at the same time, it knocks his sword back at him and stuns him for a bit

if u notice it skips at some parts. he cud have died but just edited those parts out. or he might have had a few healing items and just healed but edited those parts out to keep the illusion of a continuous battle. i noticed it at around 9:04 bcuz he is about to lose but then the music skips and his health is full. so u never know. -shrugs- either way the walkthrough is great. so dont complain
