  • Oh, by the way, if "everybody" followed the teachings of anyone or anything else we'd have peace on earth, and there are a myriad of other books and philosophers that said "love your brother and be nice". that's a complete red herring. If everybody followed the teachings of Joseph Stalin there would be peace on earth and we'd all be comrades. It lends absolutely no credence to any idea or set of ideas.

  • Jesus Bill let him talk.

  • How many times is Dawkins going to go on this show? It isn't working. Every time I see Dawkins on the O'Reilly Factor, he needs to dumb it down (really dumb it down) and add some better arguments. "I want to fill the gap!", ok, lets just drop every possibility in there then- abiogenesis, the clay theory, aliens, supernatural beings, a computer. Religion doesn't cause world peace- look at Christian sex abuse cases. People don't need religion telling them what to do.

  • This reminded me of something I wrote a few days ago: Basically, you say that you name a being god, you say he's immaterial and eternal, so you tailor him to your void. It's like me imagining a husband for myself to fill that void. Or an imaginary friend. I think Hitchens says "the imaginary sky daddy".

  • Facism? really Bill?

    that's it I'm killing myself

  • bill o'reilly = douche

  • bill o reily= slave for jesus

  • PROFESSOR Richard Dawkins, BITCH!!!...

  • Comment removed

  • Facism?? Bill-o is so full of shit. There are slight gaps in science so we have to present christian bullshit instead? I have an Idea, lets all punch ourselves in the head until we are retarded and dont believe in facts and science anymore! grrrr

  • Comparing the intellectual capacity of Mr. Dawkins to Billo over there is like comparing Beethoven's concertos to Rebecca Black's "Friday". Anyone with half a brain would be offended the comparison was even made, but sadly there will always be those brain dead weirdos who side with Rebecca Black, or worse... Bill O'Reilly.

  • Very 'Christian', shouting "fascist" at people! The guy reminds me of Roland Freisler at the 1944 trials.

  • I usually hate Bill Orielly, but he was actually pretty polite here. I am also an Atheist.

  • @Blackdog12285 polite.... did you watched this?

  • "If a particular science doesn't work, do some better science."

    "No."

Religion summarised in a single exchange.

How would O'Reilly feel if the Xian, Muslim, Hindu, Ancient Greek and Norse creation stories were all discussed in science classes? He wants alternatives, all right - just HIS alternative. If he were on in the UK somebody would have shot him by now.

  • @JMUDoc Haha, that was funny.

  • @rsgirl10

    I aim to please ;)

Presenting gaps in scientific knowlegde is not only prudent: it's ESSENTIAL. Discussing religious alterntiaves, though? No - completely out of order: those alternatives are not the result of scientific investigation (and this is a science class, remember).

Pitting evolution against the vicar's story book is totally inappropriate, because the latter's "facts" have not been deduced from repeatable, verifiable observations of the nature about which it pontificates.

  • bill o, reilly is not irish,im from ireland,hes a cunt.

  • @ndrwdngh agreed

  • This interview is very close to something you'd see on a sitcom.

  • Science does not have all the answers, and just because we don't know how it all began we're supposed to teach an idea that is completely faith based and has presented zero evidence? Go fucking kill yourself, BIll.

  • Bill O'Really believes of the God of the Gaps, and he seem to have BIG gaps in knowledge.

  • It's official people, the year is 2011 and provable and measurable truth now takes a back seat to doctrines over two millenia old, All Dawkins is attempting to do is bring what is true to the table.

  • bill believes in evolution yet still believes in the bible? whaaaatttt hahahahahahahha

  • Dawkins just theoretically made Bill suck his dick

  • love how bill o'reilly argues only in fallacies but still considers them legitimate

  • O'Reilly doesn't believe in his own bullshit. He's there as a salesman.

  • Well, the field of math is also incomplete, so should we teach alternatives to math?

Then what about the field of history? That too is also incomplete...

  • fox news in general and oreilly in particular is breathtakingly stupid. U only need to listen to his 1st argument: "science doesnt know everything, until it does i´ll stick to christian believe". Any rational person with an iq higher that toast has to see how stupid a statement like that is...and half the US population actually buys into that hardcore fundamentalist bullshit that fox stands for...but no worries, its not like the US is a nuclear superpower

  • Respected Richard Dawkins vs a Little Child with a loud mouth.

  • I love how Richard Dawkins gave that expression of utter shock when O'Reilly tried to call him out for "Fascism".

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA. There isn't anyone smarter than Dawkins that DOES believe in a god. Everyone smarter than Dawkins isn't stupid enough to do so =P

  • Why would Dawkins go on fox news...? LOL...

  • @rsgirl10

To sell his book (it got plugged twice)- which stands a chance of educating millions of Fox News viewers.

But we see here the reason why Dawkins refuses to debate Creationists, unless they're selling his book at the same time.

O'Reilly came across as an utter fool (which he obviously is - it's not an act).

  • Fascism!?!??!? LOL

  • From an Irish person, fuck off Bill, Irish people aren't as fucking ignorant as you and we've had the Catholic Church controlling our lives for decades.

  • I love how as Bill O'Reilly speaks about Jesus, they are showing a slideshow of pictures of Jesus. Like people don't know who he's talking about

  • Bill O'Reilly is a child, that's why he believes in the Christianity hooey.

  • I hate the 1st amendment when I witness people like Bill O' Reilly

  • And in maths they should teach that since 2+2=4 doesn't explain the origin of the universe, that therefore 2+2 also = Jeeeezzusss-aahh

  • @Cha4k thats the best answer i have heard so farrrrrrrrr .....

  • id love to see this crock of horse shit o'riley bring hitchens onto his show.

  • When is Fox News gonna start following the teachings of Jesus

  • Did he say "you know how Irish guys can get" at the end? I've just developed a new hatred for the guy that I didn't think was possible *ugh*....... Oh and to any american who wants to come back to me with "who do you think you are?" I'm 100% irish, I was born in and have spent all my 24 years, in Dublin the capitol of the Republic of Ireland (ie not the one that is part of the UK).

  • Having morals and having religion is two different things:

At least atheists are nice because htey want to be, yet christians are either nice because they think they have to be (unless theyre atheist, then they just out right attack them)

  • Dawkins face at 1:48 = priceless

  • haha wow fox. disgusting and simple minded bullshit. when they play the old clip it has dawkins' name underneath a huge "atheist" label as if that is what is most important about him. wtf is with a bullshit label like that. i cannot imagine anywhere else that a persons religious convictions or lack thereof would be stamped right over their name like that. only fox.

  • WILL YOU LISTEN TO ME AND STOP SHOUTING AT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL i believe god created everything. why dont we teach both evolution and creationism, since evolution still cant be proven and they dont know how the earth began. like im just saying why dont they teach both untill someone can prove 1000000000000000 percent how everthing began. if any one has a problem with that then they are hard headed and need to be change their way of thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @xxtexasboy956xx oh yeah ! what we need to do is teach every last whack jobs theory in the classrooms. forget which ones have evidence. I think we live in the matrix now I want that taught in classrooms alongside intelligent design and evolution. yeah fuck yah.

  • @xxtexasboy956xx we know exactly how the the earth began retard

  • @MrWeetabixloverx1000 lol nobody knows ecactly how the earth began retard. didnt you just hear the man he said he dosent know. no one knows. only god

  • @xxtexasboy956xx How do you know god knows?

  • @OtagoMark cause he said so

  • @xxtexasboy956xx schizoid... take a pill mate

  • @xxtexasboy956xx The only problem I find here is that evolution has been proven, and the evidence is piling higher and higher. It would only take a very elementary understanding of genes and embryos to see patterns that point directly to the perfect "family tree" that is evolution. Intelligent supervision over evolution cannot at this point be disproven, but even Bill O'Reilly, one of the most shortsighted, bigoted people ever to yell on television must face the fact of evolution.

  • @bloodninja09 no it has not been proven sorry. ill take richard dawkins word over yours. he says it cant be proven and its just a theory and no one knows how the earth began.

  • @xxtexasboy956xx

    How did you begin?

How can you teach others what you dont know?

How do you know if you can't prove it?

How will virgin births and resurrections mix with Human bio?

how will creating something from nothing stack up in physics?

I hope there's still a part of you capable of seeing reason and

I hope you're not waiting until you're dead to enjoy your life.

  • @DJRU2 your questions can also be used on evolution. and i am enjoing life.

  • @xxtexasboy956xx

Evolution can be proved the link in the evolutionary chain from Homo-erectus to homo-sapiens cant be bridged however now this is interesting But

its obvious to me that god did it well either him or the flying spaghetti monster

Its something that requires more research and open minds best not to close it of with theism

Or to confuse science with faith. With enuff faith i could dispute gravity wholeheartedly but as soon as i jump off that bridge reality will bite me in the ass

  • It took Bill a full 5 minutes to play the Nazi/ Facism card... my under over was 3

  • We SHOULD present creationism is science class. In fact, dedicate the entire first year of high school science to reviewing every creation myth - past and present. Then in the second year, explain how the scientific method works - and start teaching science.

Students will figure out very quickly the difference between guesswork and real work.

  • It's a sad state of affairs when someone as brilliant as Professor Dawkins has to waste his time and breath on the likes of Bill O'Reilly.

  • @GodlessAndHappy1 Could not agree more. When certain people cannot grasp logic, there is no use debating with them at such a level.

  • @GodlessAndHappy1

I think it's a brilliant state of affairs!

Dawkins got onto Prime Time Fox News with his new science book, which O'Reilly graciously plugged twice!

He has captured the World's imagination with his blatant disregard for, and pwnage of, religion - but he's a zoologist who redefined exactly what evolution is back in the 70s.

Good on him. Creationist nitwits are queueing up to debate him so that they can be considered on something approaching the same level.

  • @GodlessAndHappy1

PS. He also invented a word that got put in the dictionary!

    Meme

Wouldn't it be cool to invent a word and have it become normal use for all English speaking people all over the world!

  • @GodlessAndHappy1

theyre both wrong..satan is prince of earth..he is god

  • @cheeesefunnel Riiiggghhhhtt.....whatever you say, Cheesefunnel. Although I have to say that I find the principles of Anton LaVey's Satanism to be fairly benign. A modern Satanist is probably less destructive than a Christian.

  • at 4:55 O'reilly says "There are more believers than non-believers and that should be presented."

Buy a clue already. WTF does that have to do with science. When has "more believers than non-believers" ever been useful as a foundation for separating fact from fiction. To the contrary, making shit up and passing it off as fact has been the standard operating procedure of religions throughout history.

  • At 3:16 O'reilly says "It's not fair to leave it out of the science class if the science class is incomplete."

Religions have been following that paradigm for thousands of years. Fill in the gaps with whatever deity happens to be popular. Of course if it doesn't happen to be their favorite deity, they see the problem right away. Go figure!

It's called science class, not pseudo-science class.

  • All of America doesn't listen listen to to this "fuckwit", America is full of believers and disbelievers, it's only that this "fuckwit", which of whom I agree is a "fuckwit", gets a news program and spreads his moronic beliefs to people who are unintelligent enough to follow his advice. Bill O' Reilly does not speak for all of us. Do not group us all in with his beliefs. Please and thank you.

  • i can not belive amaricans listen to idiot's like o'reilly. maybe that's why they are so stupid!!

  • @martinegelund It's unfair to be prejudice of Americans because of this television show. Most Americans give O'Reilly as much intellectual credit as people from the UK give to Monty Python.

  • ...Evolution is state sponsered mind control paid by tax dollars even when they admit they don't know. Present intelligent design in public schools and let the kids decide for themselves. The facists on the Board of Education like Lenin, Stalin and Trotsky before them are frightened that thier naturalistic philosophy may ultimately be rejected by society as a complete nonsense, therefore they use force.

  • @vachief First off, do a little research before you take such a strong stance and repeat bullshit arguments you've heard from your pastor and conservative commentaries.

Placing intelligent design arguments in class is only promoting religion. There is enough scientific knowledge existing today, and developing everyday to fill much more classes than the average student will ever take.

Save religion for churches and cultural studies class.

  • @plusmin09....Dawkins can't live with himself without stuffing his philosophy down everyones throat. The origins of mankind is a theological issue not a scientific issue. Here's a novile idea...lets teach both in public schools like we used to....and let the kids decide what they want to believe. Anything less than that is government sponsered brainwashing and most people have had enough of it.

  • @vachief Maybe defining "mankind" is theological, but the origin of Homo sapiens is completely scientific.

"Like we used to" Oh ya, back in the good ol' days, back when you'd pray to god for a good harvest and have your slaves pick it for you. You are an idiot. The only mention of Creationism in public schools should be when considering it as a political/cultural view point. Anything beyond that is obliterating the division of church and state.

  • @plusmin09 ...Like you, Dawkins is frightened that the kids might not buy it anymore. He's a scared rabbit, and he should be..were on to his game.

  • @vachief I'm not afraid of people being dumbed down by religion and the ignorance that comes with it, I just don't want resources being spent on encouraging it.

  • @plusmin09 ...Look at the High School test scores in the early 19th century....they make our kids look like complete morons. The average high school graduate can't multiply fractions or read a ruler...I know, I had to hire some of them. lol The dumbing down started when they began teaching Naturalistic philosophy...instead of the Holy Bible. They should be honest about it and call it the dope smokers manifesto.

  • @vachief Where are you finding test scores for the early 1800s?

Evolution is taught sparsely in science classes in the US. How can that be cause the for overall falling academic scores?

What is your evidence for intelligent design or creationism? What would you expect them to teach that doesn't involve religion?

  • @plusmin09 ..About 10 years ago I was digging through some archives in California, to be quite honest I was shocked. We expect so little from our students today, it's sad is what it is. I saw a guy with a camera walking the street asking high school graduates to show him Afganistan on a world map, some of them pointed to Africa and S. America.

  • @vachief How will teaching creationism help that?

  • @plusmin09 ..When you understand were you come from and what your future is...it has a settling effect that allows you to focus clearly on other subjects as well. That is my take, I'm certain people will argue the point.

  • @vachief People will argue against that point? Uh, ya definitely. It's not really even a point, it's just your opinion. Why don't we use a secular approach to your reasons and just use generic meditation? (Which actually isn't a bad idea)

You still haven't answered what you expect creationism to teach kids in school...

  • @plusmin09 ...I happen to believe Jesus, so I'm going to do what he said...there is much at stake. I expect the kids to see that there is another view on the origins of mankind besides those perpetuated by Naturalism. Should not they be given the opportunity to see both sides? Especially seeing that I'm paying for it?

  • @vachief That's your reason to have creationism taught in schools; because YOU'RE christian?

You still aren't answering the question: WHAT are they going to learn? What does creationism teach that isn't religious?

  • @plusmin09 ..Contrary to popular belief it is not un-constitutional to teach creationism. The students will learn what the rest of mankind has taught concerning the origins of mankind, things that have been taught for centuries that have only recently been denied to public school students. Teach it all...and let the kids decide rather than state sponsered programing we now have, similar to the public schools in the former Soviet Union.

  • @vachief You keep spouting ridiculous claims of communism and conspiracy but continue to avoid answering the real question...

What is going to be taught? "Science 101: God has and will do everything; the end" Is that the lesson plan? Because you haven't suggested anything else.

  • @plusmin09 ...You people give new meaning to the phrase "One way"....your way or the highway, stuffing your philosophy down everyone throat at public expense. Open your mind a little. The vast majority of people do not believe we come from monkeys and frankly we have had enough of your half baked theories that hide behind the veil of "science". Conjecture isn't science and never has been.

  • @vachief You've proven why creationism shouldn't be taught in schools. You can't think of one thought beyond giving credit to a God that doesn't include a religious text.

    Sucks to be you...

  • @plusmin09 ...Your "one way" thought train is enlightening. Lenin would have loved you...comrade. lol

  • @vachief Ok, I was suspicious before, but these last couple posts prove you're a troll. You show a lack of consistency with your ignorance and idiocy which can only characterize a person too dumb to use a keyboard.

I must admit, you had me fooled there for a second. I was thinking your were an authentic dumbass!

  • @plusmin09 ....Well....I'm sure I'm not the brightest bulb in the box, but it is comforting to know that I'm a couple of lumens ahead...of you. lol I do find this were smarter than everybody else argument from Dawkins...kinda funny though. I grew up with a guy like him..Professor Erwin Corey, worlds foremost authority..who once said " No matter were you go..there you are."

  • @vachief I don't doubt your feelings of comfort. Indeed, Ignorance is Bliss. So enjoy your life (and your afterlife), but keep your beliefs out of the lives of people who don't support your religion.

  • @plusmin09 ..You mean like the 9 year olds people like you brainwash on a daily basis?

  • @vachief

"You mean like the 9 year olds people like you brainwash on a daily basis?"

Looks like more projection. Again, what percentage of "9 year olds" are being brainwashed by religion?

A ballpark guess is fine, what with all the thousands of religions on offer. It's practically a buffet line of pseudo-knowledge.

  • @fusedchromosome ..Millions of children, every single day of the school year bombared with the message that the bible isn't true....and I have to pay for it. Government sponsered lieing.

  • @vachief

"Millions of children, every single day of the school year bombared with the message that the bible isn't true....and I have to pay for it. Government sponsered lieing."

Since when do schools do any such thing. Science class teaches science. That's it. Any public school teacher who brings up religion (for or against) is in violation of the first amendment. Can't promote it. Can't diss it either, despite the fact that it's superstitious nonsense.

  • @vachief Christianity isn't the majority of the people in the world. Would you like Islam to be taught in schools too?

  • @plusmin09 ..The local school boards should have that authority based on the wishes of thier constituancy...not the Federal Government. Islam, Judaism and Christianity share the same creation story..the origin of mankind. I'm only interested in the United States and it's Constitution that guarantees that congress shall make no laws hindering the teaching of religion...which is directly opposite to what they are doing now by disallowing religion in public schools.

  • @vachief Using more tax money to pay for religious teachings is idiotic. You have you church for that.

  • @plusmin09 ...Opinions are one thing...rule of law being another. If the vast majority of people believe that evolution is just a philosophy that attempts to validate itself using science, then why should thier voice not be heard? The Soviets removed religion from schools, and so did the French during the revolutions and it proved disasterous. Most level headed people see nothing wrong with presenting all sides of the origin of man debate and letting the kids make up thier own minds.

  • @vachief Because it would be a waste of tax dollars and a waste of students' time.

  • @plusmin09 ..Isn't it nice when a small minority tells everyone else how to think...Lenin would have loved you. lol

  • @vachief You have no argument for anything! You just spout out stupid phrases that right wing talk show hosts spread around, and completely go off topic if it's obvious enough to you that you've lost your point.

Most scientific advances are in the minority at first. We should learn from that.

  • @plusmin09 ....I'm still on point....but your on the ropes....maybe it's time for a re-think.

  • @vachief On point of what!? Bring up one point and stay on target and you'll be proven wrong.

  • @plusmin09 ..Right...lol

  • @vachief No, I doubt work at a religion camp, I think that's your side of the pond.

  • @plusmin09 ..Public schools are a "religion camp" paid for at tax payers expence I might add.

  • @vachief

"Public schools are a "religion camp"

I have a feeling you just resent the fact that kids get taught "how" to think for themselves. That drives the faithful nuts. Can't have kids questioning all the nonsense that gets thrown at them in church/synagogue/mosque/etc/etc/etc.

If your "truth" is so strong, it shouldn't be a problem.

  • @fusedchromosome ..You don't want kids to think for themselves...you want to indoctrinate. That is why you pushed religion out of school....to get rid of the opposition.

  • @vachief

"That is why you pushed religion out of school..."

Religion got pushed out of school because it doesn't belong there. It belongs in church/synagogue/mosque/etc/etc.

People can learn/practice religion to their hearts content outside of school. That seems to cover the "learn both sides" argument quite nicely. They get religion in church and science in school, so what exactly is the problem?

  • @fusedchromosome ....Evolution is religion/ philosophy. It should properly be called " The Cannabis Manifesto."

  • @vachief

    "Evolution is religion/philosophy"

Ok, if you say so. Since you've avoided every question I've asked, this is the last response you get. May you be content in your ignorance and superstition. Hope the leaches and incantations work for getting rid of the demons.

  • @fusedchromosome .....The jigs' up buddy. lol

  • @vachief

Would you like to see science teachers come into sunday school and point out all the flaws in the pseudo-science that gets taught there?

  • @vachief Ok, pull your kids out and put them in your ignorant christian school alternative and get a tax refund. Suck my balls you ignorant bitching drone. Enjoy your life of ignorance and stay out of mine.

  • @plusmin09 ..You people are dangerous.

  • @vachief Compare the amount of wars caused by atheists compared to the religious. Who's dangerous?

  • @plusmin09 ..Wars are fought for money.....not religion, and that is the only reason.

  • @vachief Ok... Money = Power. Religion = Power. War = Power. It's all congruent, ever heard of the holy wars?

  • @plusmin09 ...Yes I have...they were directed by the Roman pontiff. They are not Christianity, and never have been, they kill for profit and were exposed during the reformation 500 years ago....how easily people forget.

  • @vachief Those wars were waged mostly by Catholicism, do you not respect Catholics as Christian?

  • @plusmin09 ..I respect the the average lay person for thier devotion, but not the leadership. They were personaly responsible for the murder of 75 million from about 1220 - 1798, 600 years of inquisition doesn't match the teachings of Jesus. All the Protestant Reformers identified the Papacy as the beast from Revelation 13. Those that spoke out about thier crazy doctrine were burned alive at the stake, John Wycliffe was one of the ones that escaped, but later they burned his bones.

  • @vachief It's a non religion camp, as in it has nothing to do with religion thanks to division of church and state!

Like I said, if you have so much beef with public schools take your kids out, send them to a private evangelical worship school and get credit in your taxes.

  • @vachief

"The vast majority of people do not believe we come from monkeys..."

Would you say that's because they've taken the time to understand the science and found it lacking or because they haven't bothered to understand the science and they prefer to be told what to think by their favorite priest/preacher/rabbi/imam/etc/etc/etc. The latter seems undeniable for the vast majority of people. They've decided to believe it's not true without even understanding it.

  • @vachief

"The vast majority of people do not believe we come from monkeys..."

Also, forgot to mention that, although it may seem trivial, no one says we came from monkeys. Monkeys are basically distant cousins, not ancestors, although our common ancestor would certainly have more traits in common with monkeys than with us.

  • @fusedchromosome ..It's more than trivial...quasi-scientific nonsense.

  • @vachief

    "It's more than trivial...quasi-scientific nonsense."

Nice to know. Any useful responses to my other comments?

  • @vachief

    "quasi-scientific nonsense."

That seems like projection to me. After all, the faithful have been cooking up "quasi-scientific nonsense" for thousands of years. It's practically a trademark among the religious. As a matter of fact, they've been proven wrong so many times, you'd think they would want to actually learn a little science before criticizing it.

  • @vachief

    "quasi-scientific nonsense"

How about addressing my question about religious based instruction. What percentage of children who receive religious based instruction would you say are being taught quasi-scientific nonsense. Care to offer a number??

Care to point out which religious based instruction is fairy tale and which isn't.

  • @fusedchromosome ...Your frightened that when properly presented creationism is a threat to your minority philosophy....We on the other hand, are a bit more democratic...We say let the kids decide for themselves, but that isn't good enough for communist mind control freaks like yourself.

  • @vachief

"We say let the kids decide for themselves..."

The fact that you would say something so stupid says it all. Just exactly how many kids have the necessary knowledge to "decide" for themselves. The level of scientific knowledge required is so far over the heads of "kids" it's beyond silly to make such a statement. Perhaps we should ask them to "decide" for themselves which cancer treatments make the most sense or how to build the space shuttle. You seriously need to buy a clue.

  • @vachief

"Your frightened that when properly presented creationism is a threat to your minority philosophy."

That's funny. I just don't see the point of screwing up science class with superstitious nonsense. The U.S. is just going to fall further behind as long as idiots like yourself think that your pathetic understanding of science can actually pass for intelligence.

    "Communist mind control freaks..."

Mind control is the realm of religion.

Still waiting for answers to my questions

  • @fusedchromosome ..Your allowed to screw up science with superstition....so what's the dif?

  • @vachief

"Your allowed to screw up science with superstition"

Do you have any idea how stupid that statement was! Do you even know what the word superstition means!

  • Comment removed

  • @vachief

"Your frightened that when properly presented creationism is a threat to your minority philosophy."

The fact that you elected to use the word "frightened" illustrates your dishonesty. Jesus would be frowning at you right now (if he existed.) There are multiple reasons I could be opposed, and as a matter of fact my opposition is born of frustration at idiots who pretend they actually know something when it's obvious that they don't (and they don't really care to learn)

  • @vachief

"Should not they be given the opportunity to see both sides?"

Don't you mean /all/ sides. There are thousands of religions teaching all kinds of stuff. Shouldn't the kids hear them all?

And don't they get the religious side at church/synagogue/mosque/etc/etc?

Science class is about learning science, not pseudo-science. Also, it's pretty obvious that, at a bare minimum, the vast majority of children receiving religious based instruction are being taught crap (can't all be right)

  • Any believer would not be half as bright as Mr. Dawkins

  • Since when did the word "fascism" become synonymous with "any idea I don't agree with"?

  • OMG! How can people listen to them?! They're absolutly nuts! I feel sorry for America!

  • What an ignorant fool Bill is.......I have no words!!

  • @statickk14 i know, science and religion are two separate things you can teach god in religious studies but keep it out of science. I loved science my teacher was amazing and thank goodness God never came into my classes.

  • sure bring in satanism , scientology , new age , and every beliefsystem to the science classes

  • Adam & Eve? 6000 years only? Talking snakes? 10 rules carved on stone tablets like cave people? THAT'S your proof? Please tell me you're kidding. "And the LORD said unto this one & that one..." Give me just a small break, Mr. & Mrs. Delusional. HOW can I just reject reason altogether & believe that the stink ridden, filthy, nomadic murderous, raping & pillaging superstitious goat sacrificing, uneducated, no electricity having, flat earth believing MORONS of Iron Age Palestine got it right?

  • why this cock sucker oreilly exists as a big figure in the USA? a fucking believer as a model to follow? USA people sucks i think (not all but there are lots).

  • I understand the position that says all the beliefs should be included, but you cannot call creacionism science. Yes, you can teach it, i had to read longs parts of the bible and it didn´t harm me too much (it harmed me because there are some people that make you feel guilty if you believe different than them), but it is true that when you are young you believe in Santa, so why you wouldn´t believe in a god, its not fair with children to impose what you think its better, thats really abuse

  • is it just me, or does dawkins wear the same outfit every time?

  • @downtownford is it just me or have you only watched 2 videos

  • @pigeonpsycho no i think it was more than that

  • Poor Bill thinks that "creationism" should be considered science.

  • Richard Dawkins: "Athiest"... Why not "evolutionary biologist"? or "Oxford professor"? You preach "Fair and balanced" FOX? yeah right...

  • I like how pissed Dawkins looks in the beginning. "Why do I have to be here?" is what his face says.

  • Notice how Fox edited Dawkins' April 2007 so his last words were "we don't know everything."

  • Oreilley makes an assclown out of himself as usuall...

It's fascism because science won't allow Christianities retarded myths into the classroom??

WTF kind of shitty crack is Bill smoking??

  • O'Reilly got roflpwnd and he didn't even notice...

  • O'Reilly got roflpwnd and he didn't even notice...

  • bill oreilly is not fucking irish - thats a massive offence to the country of Ireland. If someone pointed a gun at me and said you have to rape one man of your choice or i wil shoot you - i would rape bill oreilly

  • "That's fascism!" Forcing science teachers to teach creationism in schools because that's what you believe, is not? Just proves to show that when you're losing an argument, you shout and throw out words to try and win. I know specific people who do the same thing...children.

  • Jesus was a lefty liberal.

  • I would be so ashamed if I even knew Oreilly -.-

  • I remember the accusations from FOX saying that Obama was a socialist during the presidential elections (which seems to be wrongly associated with communism in the US and therefor seen as negative), partialy because he would have said something about sharing wealth.

Mister O'Reilly, shouldn't you start showing some interest in what that "dude" you believe to be God's son said when he was amongst us, like the concept of sharing ?

If God's exist, be sure you will rot in hell mister O'Reilly.

  • American hypocrisy at its best !

When previously invited on this (propaganda) show, mister O'Reilly said that the world (he actually said country) would be a better place if everybody would share his views on life, dictated by Jesus Christ.

  • O'Reilly's logic: Since scientists admit they can't explain the origin of the universe, science teachers should present Intelligent Design as an alternative theory.

Parallel example: Since scientists admit they can't cure cancer, science teachers should present the technique of prayer to cure the disease as an alternative theory?????

  • Bill O'Reilly is a fucking moron. That stupid fucker just doesn't get it. As 90% of the rest of the world.

  • the fox news retard runs his mouth for about 90% of the time. I thought this was supposed to be an interview but he hardly let him have a say.

  • bill o'rielly is a simple-minded stubborn fool. he'll die that way. lol.
