To ARMINIANS -Romans 11:32 "for God has shut up all to unbelief, that he might have mercy on all".
To CALVINISTS -1 Timothy 4:10"for for this we both labour and are reproached, because we hope on the living God, who is Saviour of ALL MEN ESPECIALLY y of those believing."
DOUBTERS I Cor. 15:23-28"But every man in his own order:..For He must reign until He has put all enemies under His feet..last enemy...destroyed is DEATH... Son also Himself be subject unto Him..that God may be ALL IN ALL"
This may be a challenge, and a bit unfair, but could you please define for me the phrase "limited atonement"? I know you're refuting it, but in your words what do you understand that doctrine--limited atonement--to mean?
Secondly, do you believe that an unbeliever has a free will to choose God for salvation?
@skoobalon Calvin taught "Limited Atonement", which is the claim that the Atonement of Jesus Christ was only offered to the elect (and then you have to define "elect" as being those who were chosen to salvation without believing anything).
I believe that an unbeliever is hopelessly lost until the Gospel is preached and then the Gospel, which is the power of God unto salvation, enables the unbeliever to believe and be saved if the unbeliever so chooses.
@skoobalon Yes, faith is a gift of God (Eph. 2:8) and "faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17) and not through some superstitious act of 'pre-regenerative grace' as the Calvinist invents.
God chooses to "draw all men unto (himself)" (John 12:32) and chooses to save those who believe (1 Timothy 4:10).
Your two-points regarding a "hopelessly lost" unbeliever are based on a false premise because you leave out the fact that God draws them and the Gospel enables them
@skoobalon Actually there's a lot of talk about God's Sovereignty from Calvinists who deny God's Sovereignty by denying that He can do what He says He can do in His word. The only people hung up on "free willy" are Calvinists. I find very few others who desire the discussion since God's word is so clear on the matter. Only a Calvinist could miss it.
God says you were lost. He drew you and by the preaching of the Gospel (the power of God unto salvation) saved you IF you believed.
@bbbfohio 1 Thessalonians 2:13 contradicts the entire underlying false premise of Calvinism:
"For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."
If the hearer receives the Gospel AS the word of God, then he or she will believe and be saved. Calvin's superstitions play no part in the matter.
You say, "Actually there's a lot of talk about God's Sovereignty from Calvinists who deny God's Sovereignty..."
Actually, I find that the exact opposite is true. It's the Arminian that gives token assent to the Sovereignty of God. But then they place man, by means of his (referring to man) almighty free will, on God's throne.
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God...so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.(2Th 2:4).
WOW!! What an awesome trio of videos in which you make so very clear that which was so very nebulous to me regarding Calvinism!
Ah! Now I have a wonderful response to give them, the example you stated regarding the Great White Throne Judgment! This a response that cannot be refuted!
There is something suspicious about that James White guy. He isn't just non-KJV he is ANTI-KJV. He goes out of his way to fight the KJV. Why am I not surprised to hear you mention him as a Calvinist?
@Banzinator Heresy begets heresy, brother. White's in the Calvinist cult that is really Augustinian and he is the father of the Roman Catholic Church. And this would explain White's love for all things Vaticanus.

The god of Calvinism comes off as Jack the Ripper and the god of Arminianism comes off as the Pope.

@skoobalon I approve all comments that are clean (without profanity and blasphemy) and not spam.

Thank you for the reply.
You say, "without believing anything."
Is faith not a gift from God?
You say, "if the unbeliever so chooses."
What about God so-choosing?
How can a "hopelessly lost" unbeliever so-choose to believe God? Unless either,
* he is not actually "hopelessly" lost, but in fact there is actually some inherent ability to hope in him to so-choose God, or
* God gives that dead sinner life and faith to be able to choose Him.

@skoobalon Well, you've definitely been taught by Calvinists if you think there are only two views: Calvinists and Arminians.
I believe BOTH are heretical.
God says He will save those who believe:
A. Calvinists deny this and actually teach that God will save those whom He has CAUSED to believe.
B. Arminians deny this and actually teach that God will save those who believe and do (fill in the blank) until death, dying in a "state of grace".

@RainhadoCanto4 Thank you for your kind words.
I just want you to know that we have two more videos, which complete the TULIP refutation:
Irresistible Grace: /watch?v=CKsfnliYyuI
Perseverance of the Saints: /watch?v=Rwmf1QxyL1g
I would expect that you would find some useful "ammunition" in these last two videos, as well. ;)

AWESOME! I am so very glad you told me, for I have already posted this trio on my blog. I will make the notation that there are two more coming!
You know, Calvinism was always a puzzle to me, but you are so very concise in your explanations! Thank you!
