Thank you , bravo for your comment! I agree with you in every word.
Sorry, I still can´t speak French yet because of trying to improve my English, so I am absolutely fascinated by Philippe´s five good spoken languages! Merci!
That little exchange where the interviewer realized he spoke German was cute. And I know he's a countertenor but I can't seem to stop wondering what he'd sound like singing lyric tenor arias...
And now, our subtitles can be google-translated into any language. I recommend Spanish as the basic language, because I had to adapt a few things in the French version. ;)
To a purist, "translate" might be a slight overstatement, but that's fun. Just watched it in Swedish!
Back-translation to German is a little comical (but I'll be out of a job if this continues! By the way, Marc, they have Tagalog... but not Bantu [yet!]).
By the way , dear people, I hope, Mr.Jaroussky was a little entertained by our languages - exercises here. And if he has laughed, so we should be verrry grateful and proud of our work.;-)
Perhaps nerves had something to do with it (he'd just met his idol, after all!). I've spoken to him (briefly), and his English seems pretty decent. Accented, of course, but whose isn't? ;)
I don't know if I have to say it in French, English or German and whom I have to thank (Jana, Marc, Catherine...) ....... but Merci, Thank you, Danke for this work made by a wonderful team !!! Philippe's fans can be sure that they will forget nothing about their favorite singer !
The main thanks are for Jana, who uploaded the video and rounded up an International 24-Hour Philippe Jaroussky Thunder Squad on this occasion. Marc's ever-so-subtle hint about Spanish translation was directed to me (¿Lullamy? ¿Estas allí? ¡Socooorrrro!). Latin could be kind of fun -- would it be the first Latin-subtitled video in YT? ;)
Aren't phrase books great? Only problem is finding a Turkish letter set to copy/paste from! "Only used for drinking"... ??? I thought that was the plan!
If your answer was for me : yes, I saw that ! But I won't add spanish subtitles because I'm French, too (I don't speak a word in Spanish !)I could maybe try in Latin or old Greek but I don't think that it would be very useful :) !!
Hehehe. ;) No, this comment was an answer to Catherine (grenouilleGG). We posted in the same minute. The way the comments are displayed below the video is always weird. It's a little better on the comment page, but sometimes confusing too.
Feel free to provide Latin and Ancient Greek translations, though. ;) But I guess a Japanese one would be more appreciated (by our friends of "Jaroussky Japon").
Hallo! wonderful channel for Jaroussky! do you know, where I can find the whole video of this Edition of Echo Klassik (2008)?
Thanks!

Hello! thank you for posting it!
Do you have Annette Dasches video of Echo 2008?
Performance and backstage?
I can't find them anymore.
Thank you!

Thank you for your comment.
Sorry, but I don´t have the video, you asked for.

@JaRoWi1647 :

Anna,
What my dictionary tells me doesn't make sense in this context. Help!
grenouilleGG 3 years ago
I'm sorry. This is my mistake. "позДравить" - this means "my congratulation".

Ah! Thanks; that works much better! :)
