  • Hallo! wonderful channel for Jaroussky! do you know, where I can find the whole video of this Edition of Echo Klassik (2008)?

    Thanks!

    Veronika

  • wow is there anything he can't do?!

  • Hello! thank you for posting it!

Do you have Annette Dasches video of Echo 2008?

    Performance and backstage?

    I can't find them anymore.

    Thank you!

  • @PoldiVonPokwitz

    Thank you for your comment.

Sorry, but I don´t have the video, you asked for.

  • @danyto75

Thank you , bravo for your comment! I agree with you in every word.

Sorry, I still can´t speak French yet because of trying to improve my English, so I am absolutely fascinated by Philippe´s five good spoken languages! Merci!

  • I didn't know he could speak German as well. I'm so impressed!

    Thanks for the translation!

  • What a talented man. His intelligence is the foundation of his art.

  • OH! And 1:04 - 1:07! His expressions were adorable!

  • That little exchange where the interviewer realized he spoke German was cute. And I know he's a countertenor but I can't seem to stop wondering what he'd sound like singing lyric tenor arias...

  • Hay! this "tower of Babel" forced us to understand better each other!

  • Anna,

What my dictionary tells me doesn't make sense in this context. Help!

  • I'm sorry. This is my mistake. "позДравить" - this means "my congratulation".

  • Ah! Thanks; that works much better! :)

  • And now, our subtitles can be google-translated into any language. I recommend Spanish as the basic language, because I had to adapt a few things in the French version. ;)

  • To a purist, "translate" might be a slight overstatement, but that's fun. Just watched it in Swedish!

Back-translation to German is a little comical (but I'll be out of a job if this continues! By the way, Marc, they have Tagalog... but not Bantu [yet!]).

  • By the way , dear people, I hope, Mr.Jaroussky was a little entertained by our languages - exercises here. And if he has laughed, so we should be verrry grateful and proud of our work.;-)

  • Jana!

Das ist eine tolle Idee mit Untertiteln.

  • O, thanks for the Spanish subtitles!!!

Just a joke. Thanks a lot for the video and the translations!

  • ¡Viene pronto, mi querida amiga! ;-)

  • They just got added. :)

  • He seems to have such a warm personality!

  • Perhaps nerves had something to do with it (he'd just met his idol, after all!). I've spoken to him (briefly), and his English seems pretty decent. Accented, of course, but whose isn't? ;)

  • I don't know if I have to say it in French, English or German and whom I have to thank (Jana, Marc, Catherine...) ....... but Merci, Thank you, Danke for this work made by a wonderful team !!! Philippe's fans can be sure that they will forget nothing about their favorite singer !

  • The main thanks are for Jana, who uploaded the video and rounded up an International 24-Hour Philippe Jaroussky Thunder Squad on this occasion. Marc's ever-so-subtle hint about Spanish translation was directed to me (¿Lullamy? ¿Estas allí? ¡Socooorrrro!). Latin could be kind of fun -- would it be the first Latin-subtitled video in YT? ;)

  • Thank you very much for the english closed caption! Much appreciated!

    :-)

  • Yet another production by Philippe Jaroussky's YouTube team! ;)

  • Let´s go and drink

a glass together! Los gehts! ;-)

  • Ja, let's get lost! ;)

  • LOL :))))))

    Good job all!

  • Santé, salud, zum Wohl... (Türkçe'de "to your health" nasıl denir?) ...and cheers!

  • Yes, it's always good to wish each other a good health precisely when we're going to get wasted. ;)

  • Hey, that was impressive! :D

    Sağlığınıza! (plural)

    Sağlığına! (singular)

Şerefe! (like "Toast" but literally means "to our honor", only used for drinking)

  • Aren't phrase books great? Only problem is finding a Turkish letter set to copy/paste from! "Only used for drinking"... ??? I thought that was the plan!

Also l'chaim! (anything else missing? Yes... another one from the phrase book, for Mehdi: "Bu bey her şeyi ödeyecek!")

  • Yeah, right... Fuggedaboutit! ;)

  • One word, for Catherine: omniglot

    *snickers*

  • Nope. Dictionary freak.

    But Mehdi's Brooklynese is outstanding!

  • My French is slightly better, though. ;) Did you see the new subtitles? You can switch from French to English at any moment (useless, but fun). :)

We're waiting for your Spanish version, now. ;)

  • If your answer was for me : yes, I saw that ! But I won't add spanish subtitles because I'm French, too (I don't speak a word in Spanish !)I could maybe try in Latin or old Greek but I don't think that it would be very useful :) !!

  • Hehehe. ;) No, this comment was an answer to Catherine (grenouilleGG). We posted in the same minute. The way the comments are displayed below the video is always weird. It's a little better on the comment page, but sometimes confusing too.

Feel free to provide Latin and Ancient Greek translations, though. ;) But I guess a Japanese one would be more appreciated (by our friends of "Jaroussky Japon").

  • thanks you very much the greatest team

first warm thanks my darling jana for post this interesting video ,then many thanks catherine

for editing .finally warm thanks Marc for subtitle ,nice job ,great video ,bravo

  • Toll!

  • Danke sehr!(c)
