  • wow it makes me sad how many people are talking about how they do drugs/ like them, its a vary sad day for humanity the rest of the world should be like japan and not kill our brains. ps: as you can tell i hate drugs and see my mind as the most important thing i have.

  • you should talk about prescriptions and pharmas. Like how in japan drugs are often applied anally.

  • me and my friends iv lived with in japan for some time now we smoke all the time. but you are completely right about the drug situation there, its really strict.

  • in germany we say "am morgen ein joint und der tag ist dein freund" ;)

  • "Don't bring drugs"

    *makes face of a madman*

  • That's great another reason why Japan is so great!

Drugs in the US are so bad...

  • so no tobacco? no alcohol?

  • @jord505 tobacco and alcohol are very tolerable in Japan. You most likely won't go to jail for drinking, and a lot of stores sell it to minors. Drugs like marijuana, LSD, cocaine and the rest of the bunch are another story though. And I completely agree with Japan being strict about drugs.

  • I wonder if someone would put drugs in your bag and report you. Would u go to jail, or can that kinda situation happen? please respond

  • As an avid cannabis consumer, and consummate alcohol avoid-er, I'm a bit amiss at the fact that drug poster didn't include saki or any other alcohol on it...

  • Hehe . I just found yakuza who has a marijuana 2days ago . Not bad

  • Before the video:

I quite like Japan. I'm really the culture; the people, the food, history etc. I'd LOVE to visit the place sometime!"

"If you get caught with drugs in Japan, even one joint; you go to jail"

    After video:

    FUCK JAPAN!

  • Luckily i don't that shit so i'm alright.

  • Why would they be so intolerant of drugs but then let people light up wherever they want???

  • Ignorant hypocritical Japaneses, they are total drunks and their tobacco companies are the law of the land yet it's wrong to smoke weed, showing their absolute submission to whatever America tells them

  • What are the Japanese inmates like?

  • I got some good coke downtown Tokyo brah.

  • lol i wanted to go live in japan.... well i guess i better chose canada...

  • *tears up plane ticket

  • man, in tokyo there's so many junkies in areas like shinjuku or roppongi. and many many of them are japanese too. and japanese anti-drugs? many, sure, but many come to the US to get high, or come to Holland where i live to go nuts in the coffeeshops, they smoke more weed than any of the locals. some places even hire japanese staff to cater to them, inside tokyo i've seen plenty of junkies too.

  • We love our drugs and prostitutes in the usa. Go Ron Paul!

  • does that mean i cant blaze it while im building a gundam model? HAHAH jk

  • That's pretty light-handed compared with some other Asian countries where death is the punishment.

  • you look funny

  • I totally opened this video expecting an explanation of how medicine is distributed, instead I find a video about illicit narcotics... Junkies can't be reasoned with, but I highly doubt a junkie would get a visa to go to japan.

  • @Kastoli1 *See Paris Hilton*

  • @Kastoli1 Not all drug users are addicts you cretin.

  • @coifgx No, but I'm sure those who feel it necessary to bring them with them when then go on holiday are.

  • @Kastoli1 Do you drink alcohol, coffee and/or eat something with sugar while on holiday? It's the same thing.

  • Comment removed

  • scary. i hope no one hides drugs in my luggage like all the stories you hear

  • @jodelle6 you must mistake for some other less developped asian countries...

  • @Acrimonator you never know, but i guess the chances of that happening is very low. thank god

  • Why so serious? 'Cause drugs is serious in Japan.

  • your awesome

  • and tobacco and alcohol are much more socially accepted? how does that make any sense...

  • @mrnarason He isn't saying it mkes sense. He's trying to keep you out of Japanese prisons.

What he forgot to mention is that if caught, the polie will put a lot of pressure on you to rat out your freinds. And the stigma for doing so is not strong like here. The Japanese police call it "Potato picking," meaning that you don't pick just one.

  • you hear that Paul McCartney!

  • Bottom line, if you live on Earth and want to keep living a happy, healthy life, DON'T DO DRUGS! This has been a PSA.

  • Jesus smokes weed, its a fact, just look in the Bible.

  • @sciencemeansrowka What Bible are you reading? lol There's nothing about weed in the Bible.

  • I lived in Japan for 9 yrs(6yrs in Ichihara and 3yrs in Kushiro) and it's true that street drugs like cocaine and Heroine is not that easy to get but Prescription Drugs are largely abused especially Opiate Pain killers and Valium. It's not open but because I actually had Spinal Cancer while I was there I got to know many of the ppl who where hooked on Painkillers especially in Kushiro

  • I smoke copious amounts of marijuana but i would give that up in a second to live in Japan. Not that its ever going to happen as even if i did get myself over there i'm absolutely positive i wouldn't be able to find work. Its to bad too the Japanese have such a rich and interesting culture and their way of doing things makes so much more sense to me then 3/4 of the shit that goes on in western civilization. They seem like a really grounded and logical people(despite the sex discrimination).

  • @smokedeganja marijuana is for losers no matter who you are or where you live.

  • @Antiks72 some of the most successful people i have ever met smoke marijuana. not to mention several friends who smoke it medicinally for leukemia and other life debilitating illnesses. i'm not sure where in world you live but my relatives live in multi-million dollar houses. my mother being an actress/real estate agent and my step father being a stock broker, both of who smoke marijuana. who's the loser? i'd say the guy sitting at home making accusations over the internet. get a life.

  • @smokedeganja cool story, bro

  • @Antiks72 what are you 12?

  • @smokedeganja I don't smoke dope, so the answer is no.

  • @Antiks72 oh wow, did you think of that all by yourself? maybe you should smoke some so your brain can develop a little more and maybe you'll be able to insult someone properly instead of sounding like an ignorant jackass.

  • @smokedeganja says the fucking pothead. Why it you losers have to wear it too? Can't you just keep your drug to yourself instead of broadcasting your cretinous behavior? You mad?

  • @Antiks72 yes says the fucking pothead. Your clearly the only loser here and you've made that pretty obvious it the way you talk. Swearing, making unfounded accusations, and using references like "cool story bro" which i have ever only heard from teenager gamers. You continue to make yourself look like an arrogant, ignorant jackass but that's usually what you Americans are good at right? hows it feel to be out talked by a "pothead"? i'm just a dumb drag on society right?

  • @Antiks72 if you must know marijuana is not only one of the most versatile plants on the planet its also the most MEDICINAL. It can be used to make clothes, fuel, soap and a long list of items. where i live its legal and as i've said before people use it to HELP TREAT CANCER and a long list of life debilitating diseases. It has been proven to not hinder our brains BUT HELP THEM GROW. so yes my name is smokedeganja and i wear it proud. wow you learnt something, pat yourself on the back.

  • @smokedeganja You're thinking of hemp, not marijuana. Two different plant, but both related.

  • @Antiks72 no in fact they are the same plant both coming from cannabis sativa. Marijuana being the female which produces THC when flowering and using strains potent in THC, and hemp most commonly being the male plant or strains chosen with an extremely low THC content(there are hundreds of strains). all hemp really means is a very low THC cannabis plant that has been grown to be used in manufacturing goods.

  • @Antiks72 actually it's two different parts of the same plant.

  • @Antiks72 no u

  • Awww man thts fuked up

  • LOL too bad Paul McCartney hadn't watched this video

  • I was thinking about it and I want to ask: what about bringing vitamins, supplements, and pills like that? I mean would I get into trouble because of vitamins and stuff?

  • no offence but japan dont need rugs their wierd enough without it

  • @ihatetheworld90 your wierd.

  • @OzakiRain thank u :)

  • this pretty much explains why there's such a high percentage of japanese cigarette smokers.

  • But why are their videos so weird then?

  • No drugs. But alcohol. And tobacco. Well, any other drugs available in Japan, that may be are forbidden or unusual in other countries but free to use in J?

  • ok whait a second , even if ur in the bathroom , she might hear you !!

  • @DensetsuShonen I agree with you! She would still be able to hear him talking about it! Could've just walked out for a moment, get in the car and record in there!

  • There´s no place in the whole wide world without any drug usage, uhm...well...except North Korea.

If I ever visit Japan (hopefully!), I´m gonna get my joint, no matter what! :p

  • @FlintFandango

I don't think you understand this video. I have friends in Japan. zero tolerance means, don't DO IT! Doesn't matter who you are, or where you smoke it. They will catch you and you will go to jail, end of story. Asian prisons are very different then US ones. But hey its your life, throw it away if you want too.

  • @kNIGHTWING01

If you don´t care if I throw my life away, why did you come up with that comment??

  • @FlintFandango

Actually there has been reports of a lot drug use in Noth Korea.

  • @cakestalker:

    Ah, that´s quite interesting. Thanks!

  • Your videos make it look as if Japan is a very nice place to live. Low crime, no tolerance for illegal substances. Nice place. However I understand cigarette smoking is a problem. Ne?

  • this is the only reason why i dont move to japan

i want my precious marijuana, and not some stupid prescribed pharma pills

please japanese people (and the rest of the world),be atleast more tolerant to the most harmless drug in existence (its even more harmless then coffeine, which is perfectly accepted, even when children take it)

  • It's funny how the country is full of smokers and drinkers, yet much less harmful drugs (i.e. marijuana) are so frowned upon by society.

  • *Japanese girlfriend enters* no more videos...

  • wildbuck007 is probily the most racist white guy on this plant with no heart do you really think people would have to be put to death for useing a drug? its not like there going out and harming people or causeing problems they just want to get high.

  • Americans are pretty retarded in regards to drug use.

It should be strict as hell on them and a 3 strikes yer dead rule in the states.

Seriously bad groups all over the states. But the pushers and the users are the worst.

Besides. How fucked up is a person that they need to be out of reality so much just to make it through their day.

  • @WildBuck007 lol u dumb

  • @welshsound

    ...that speaks volumes.

  • @WildBuck007 Explain to me one thing that is wrong with Marijiwana. Let's not even focus on the concept of freedom yet, why don't you try and tell me one thing that is wrong with Marijiwana. And the death penalty. Are you fucking crazy? You sick bastard give me one good reason why you have the moral audacity to value your life over theirs. Light yourself on fire beause if anyone's life is worthless it's yours.

  • @AnimeAdept

The guy working at the local convenience store just got shot in the head like 2 weeks ago. Had a wife and a 6 year old kid.

This drug dealer felt the need to act all tough. Went in the store and robbed it for $25 and then shot the guy point blank in the face and killed him. He was off his shift in 15 minutes and because some useless sack of shit who liked to get stoned felt the need to murder some one for a bag of weed an hour after.

Try being sober. Its not so bad.

  • @WildBuck007 So of course like most idiots you blame the drug and not the person. Have you ever heard the saying, guns don't kill people, people kill people. The same applies in that situation. The effects of Marijiwana do not make you violent whatsoever in any way possible and this case if it is true is so rare I can't see how it can be used as an argument. I can see how you could use it to sway others emotionally but an argument? Forget it.

  • @WildBuck007 Also, the legalization of drugs would erase most organized crime. The way drugs work is through hierarchical systems that end with huge drug lords and violent gangs. Get rid of all that through legalization. Cut off all of the violent sellers and establish relations between the government and the users and no one gets hurt. Drugs aren't the source of the problem. Prohibitation is.

  • @WildBuck007 A desperate drug addict might rob a store for money to buy drugs. Why? Because of the massive prices he has to pay due to prohibitation. Legalize it and the price goes down and people can afford to get high therefore wiping out all drug related robberies. Another thing is prohibitation does not work. Why do you think it's good that drug lords are getting the money from drugs when governments and buisnesses could be using it to fix our shit economy and use the taxes

  • @WildBuck007 for real problems like health care and homelessness. Don't even get me started on the very concept of freedom that is written in the constitution that says we have freedom. It doesn't even matter if it caused al the problems in the world, prohibitation is the opposite of freedom and democracy. Also, I love how you get all sentimental about someone dying when you said one comment earlier that we should kill drug users. Somehow it doesn't feel sincere. Go to hell.

  • @AnimeAdept

All you are doing is trolling this guys video. Also proving why drugs are so negative. Good luck with that.

  • @WildBuck007 OK and all you are doing is dodging my arguments and critical questions. Good luck with that.

  • @AnimeAdept I'm completely for legalizing drugs, but you're just being absurd and childish. This is the root of the conflict you're having with normal human beings. Good luck with that.

  • @BDiegoTube Normal human beings? This guy said we should give the death penalty to drug users and somehow I'm the root of all evil. Children can't come up with arguments like that, I'm not being absurd, I'm defending my points, so shut up, you don't know what you're talking about.

  • @AnimeAdept well said, I know how frustrating it is to argue with close minded people like wildbuck.

  • @WildBuck007 I wonder how Fucked up a person is to Actually enjoy this shit whole world and Reality and not want to escape with things like drugs?

  • @RustyShacklefeird The fact that you need an escape like that makes you a weak person who can't handle and kinda of pain or discomfort.

  • @InuyashaxTakahashi And what does that make you? Strong? i dont think so. No pain isnt the problem, the problem is dealing with self righteous dickheads like yourself on a daily basis, who sit on their high horse labeling others. Drugs is a way i tell the world to "fuck you".

  • @RustyShacklefeird So rebellious and edgy.

At least we'll be able to go to Japan.

  • lol this guy talk so slow but funny " dont even thinkkk abouttt itttt"

  • but if you do go to jail at less you'll be tops

  • hey thanks guy this really helped me I was gonna grow weed in my house!!!!

  • this is one of the scariest videos i have ever seen lol

  • I would point out though that the Japanese definition of "narcotics" is a bit less comprehensive than that of most countries. For example, Magic Mushrooms were only made illegal a few years ago, due to some bad publicity. The "Head Shops" in Tokyo still sell Salvia,Peyote and other derious "Shaman" stuff over the counter, however a joint is indeed serious business.

  • I'm sure that there is a drug problem, that's why they are all hush hush and sing sing about it.

  • Even though it's totally serious + punishable... People in Japan still grow it, I suppose, and not even the celebrities get caught.

Forgive me for trolling, but just recently a G Dragon scandal broke out and how he was handed marijuana in a club on his Japanese tour. He smoked it and everything, and left the country.

Someone had to TIP OFF the police for him to get caught.

If people could so easily hand him weed, no matter how drugs are viewed, obviously SOMETHING is changing in Japan :l

  • I think he's just super tired lol

  • What if it's prescription drugs that I need and got over here?

  • what was the point in that video? asia has strict drug laws anyways.

    i miss living in japan! #earthquakesurvivor <==========

  • So if I run out of money to get home, can I just pull out a joint and get deported? haha

  • @VVD Lolwin.

  • I still don't understand why America is called the greatest country in the world. Japan clearly deserves that title. Just look at how clean and civilized they are! Brings my country to shame.

  • @PeircedinBlood Clean and civilized? Look at their tremendous homelessness problem. How is it civilized to molest school girls on the subway for sport or watch game shows where people are injured and humiliated?

Who said the United States was the greatest country in the world?

  • @Mujangga thing is the molesting school girls on train is as far as sexual assault goes in japan. not to mention crime in general. as for the imo hilarious game shows they've spread into all western cultrures. the roads and general asthaetic is 'clean'. i havent heard of the homelessness problems however.

  • @maxgunn555 There is a big homeless problem going on, especially among the senior citizens that are no longer working or have family. That portion of the japanese census is extremely overpopulated. They have such a long life expectancy. And again not that many children are being born. The country's only about the size of California, how they figure they can support all those ppl?

  • @johnson6099 hmm guess there savings system isnt working over there then. thats awesome that they all live so much longer than us coz they eat healthy food. sad they can't sustain it for some. oh well i'd rather be homeless and alive for an extra 10 years than dead 10 years early.

  • @PeircedinBlood

America sucks, but japan is worse lol.

Sure they may seem clean and civilized but they're also extremely deprived which is why they have so many creepy weird ass fetishes, the drug laws there imo are stupid as fuck.

  • @PeircedinBlood Who calls it the greatest country in the world? Americans? ROFL

FARR from the greatest country. I'm CANADIAN, and I'd STILL want to live in Japan, even though we're doing aight.

  • hha i hoped to see a vending machine for weed xd

  • Good. now can america learn from them? lol

  • Pot should never be on an anti drug poster(I see pot leafs) before cigarettes or alcohol which are legal and far more dangerous. Think about, cannabis just comes off a plant before you use it unlike cigarettes which goes through some chemical processing before you use it. Also, you can't get physically addicted to pot like you can alcohol or cigarettes and furthermore you can't OD on pot. Why it's even considered a "drug" much less still be illegal is beyond me.

  • @H4I2I2EE actually i knew someone who did OD on pot, granetd it was K2 (Synthetic)

  • @BlakAttk Well that doesn't count cuz it ain't the real weed as it comes off the plant but something synthesized to mimic the effects. According to wikipedia synthetic cannabinoids weren't even made illegal until 2011.

  • Thought you said that it is not a good idea to have a Japanese girl friend? Maybe you are going to give up your country?

  • Is it me, or does he look stoned.

  • @Adz1184 I was just about to post here, not to be blunt but you look high as hell. Maybe its a code-word video of getting stoned in your bathroom in Japan, thats what he really wants to say :-D Its not ok to smoke up outside, just DO IT IN THE BATHROOM!

Probably not though, to be safe I'd avoid it.

  • is this about the "getting high" drugs only or even medical over the counter like stuff?

  • i heard there is a japanese man who eats young american/australian girls and he doesn't go to jail because he is rich.

  • Anyone seeing this video in California or Netherlands must be laughing their ass off.

  • @blahk04

    Or canada.

  • how are the drugs in the prisons there?

    j/k.

  • @kinichris lol

  • Haha watching this video again reminded me of how Paul McCartney got caught with marijuana in Japan and got in some deep, deep doodoo. The story brings a smile to my face though. (In fact, I'm not sure about this, but he might even be banned from coming to Japan to this day).

  • So we know not to bring illegal drugs in Japan, but what about legal drugs and medicines?

Perhaps a video about Pharmacies in Japan could be useful. Thanks again for another interesting video though!

  • haha funny video :D

  • Hahahahah thanks for this video man~

  • I just love Japan even more knowing this! Where I am from they are being more flexible with certain drug and it annoyed me!

  • The "legal high" herbs are everywhere in Tokyo and openly advertised. They knock your sox off just like the real thing.

  • @CrimsonComedian19 Did I say it was funny? No I didn't. ALL I'm saying is that they have very hypocritical, warped views when it comes to what's okay and what's not. The asshole comment was justified because that person was anti-freedom of choice. The reason I mentioned that I know Japanese is because I'm saying that if anyone knows this culture pretty well, it's me. And with that knowledge I am telling you, they are a screwed up society in many ways, then again we are too.

  • does Tylenol or Advil count as a drug in Japan?

  • What about prescribed drugs?

  • If you want people to stop doing drugs, show them Requiem For A Dream.

  • Does anti-deppresents and perscripated drugs count?

  • Shintos sacred herb.

  • hi

  • @GeirDarge Yea and btw dumass I speak japanese fluently and know a lot about the country and its many hypocrisies. This is a country where you can buy panties and anime porn in vending machines and get hammered and ride the trains while drunk. Yet other drugs are bad bad bad. By the way, calling freedom of choice an idiotic view is not a good way to make friends asshole... lol. Japan's drug use rates may be low, but what they lack in substance abuse they make up for in suicide rates. lol..

  • '5 stars for saving you from jail !!!!!!'

    Lol nice one.

  • alcohol doesn't count as a drug. am i right?

  • @Wildi630 No Alcohol is frequently consumed at nearly all occasions. The Japanese like to have a drink.

  • @Wildi630 nope, look up drug in the dictionary.

  • heyhey i bring my coke everywhere i go and no one is gonna give me trouble about it

  • @skatesandoval No. If my anime-based knowledge of Japan is correct, they call it all sake and its perfectly fine.

  • @ovician Noooo. Sake is a specific kind of alcohol made from rice kind of like our wine.... It's just that back in the day (which most anime story's are based) that's all they had to drink, plus it's cheap. I

  • you looked high and paranoid as you did this lol.

So u guess you can't get a cannabis card to buy weed like i can where i live?

  • @mrdkaff Did you not watch the video? LOL, if you're caught with even one joint it's jail time for you and deportation :P

I'm positive that means no medical weed..

  • @healie thats lame,, can you get it where you live?

  • @mrdkaff I live in the US. It depends on the state you live in, each state has it's own set of laws on it.

  • Hello i suffer from severe head aces i take pain killer drugs such as paracetamol and ibuprofen ect will i need something like a docters note written in japanese or will i need to purchese the appropriate drugs whlie am there?

  • Anybody cam tn hook me up with some good pot in japan? send me a PM

  • If I had to choose between a Japanese jail for a month or an American jail for life...I think I'd go with the American jail.

  • @imtheonlysane1here if i'd had to choose between japanese jail for a month or having to live in america for the rest of my life... i'd choose japanese jail. I choose the japanese culture over the american culture any day.

  • So... even mentioning drugs bad? The way you talk about it makes it seem like a taboo or something.

  • Damn I'm 15 and I love alcohol I don't smoke but half of my friends in the US do LOL

  • The only reason drugs are illegal is because most if not all of them can be readily made, and the government cannot collect taxes on them because of that.

If the government could find a way to collect taxes on drugs in America, I bet ANYTHING some of them would be legalized.
