  • Great job! I've been trying to install a WNA 1100 for the past several days and didn't have a clue as to what to do. The only variations I had to employ was one, I had to use another computer to download NDIS file and put them on a flash drive to install them on the target. I also didn't have the CD-ROM for the adapter but I got the .inf file from the desktop installation using Windows. For anyone trying to do this with a WNA 1100 the .inf file you want is "netathur.inf."

  • @mpgorilla66 I'm glad to hear it eventually worked after much perseverance. Thank you for the .inf information I'll add it to the description. o and thanks for watching!

  • @jawsykilla asus n13

  • @jawsykilla asus n13

  • @cripps78 I've sent you a link in a youtube message to get the correct drivers that contain the .inf file.

  • DIdnt work for me but I had a .inf file

    And it says

    Driver is already installed.

  • @mkextremerTV Mark ndiswrapper for complete removal. Then mark for installation. Load it up and then click the driver in the list and remove any drivers already installed then install your driver. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure without looking.

  • I spent ages trying to do this, thanks!!

  • ps....i havnt installed linux yet...i just downloaded 9.10 and burnt a disk.......

  • i have a linksys usb adapter that did come with a disk...do i have to use the same steps or will ubuntu automatically do it cuz its a very popular adapter???

  • @zoidburg111 I would have thought that you would have to do this process but before you do this just put the usb stick in and see if it finds it automatically. If not then follow this tutorial. Hope it all goes well!

  • tanx mate

  • No probs

  • When I try to add the cd rom it comes up with an error, then when I try to reload the ndiswrapper does not appear on the list.

  • If it's coming up with an error when adding the cd rom try searching that error on google and the ubuntu forums. It probably is a faulty disk.

  • hy..i have a laptop, on wich i had installed the Ubuntu 6.06 ..but i need the internet, so i have in laptop wireless conection, but i dont know how to installed or from where...can u help me ?

  • I don't understand what you mean. If you are struggling head on over to the Ubuntu forums. Best forums ever. Friendly people and hopefully your question will be resolved quickly.
