Anyone who thinks legalizing marijuana is a good idea and that the whole thing is the governments fault, has NO idea what theyre talking about. Ill say one point and move on, Did you know that if everone in the US stopped using drugs tomorrow, there goes the drug war? Wow, what a simple notion.
@GermanConquistador08 Thanks for your comment. It's always good to hear from the opposition. Yes, I do believe that legalization is a good idea and I also believe that the government is at fault for propagating lies and hypocrisy. I'm curious about why you think I'm wrong.
Did you know that if everyone in the US stopped driving cars tomorrow, there goes the oil crisis? Wow, what a simple notion. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. There are no easy answers in this world to anything.
@FosterBoys Why would the government lie about weed? It makes no sense. So your saying, the government, my health teachers, my doctor, and the hundreds of anti-drug organzations are liers? Id love it if youd explain this to me why? And no, if everyone stoped driving, we'd still have electricity, factories, planes, etc that need oil. Plus, we are NOT having an oil crisis, oils not close to running out, but thats not what im argueing right now.
@GermanConquistador08 In re: The Lies:OK, where do I start. Your health teachers and doctors are repeating the disinformation that has been handed to them by the government-backed anti-drug organizations. "Research" done by groups like NIDA (Nat'l. Inst. on Drug Abuse) is misleading at best and usually wrong at its worst.
When not abused (which any drug can be), marijuana is not socially, physically, or psychologically harmful. I've done the meta-analysis of NIDA's research. It's shameful.
@FosterBoys Ok, so I guess I also shouldnt trust my friends in the DEA, Police Force, or military either when they tell me that what you and people like you say are bullshit as well? I doubt anti-drig organizations can pull the wool over the eyes of the people in the Military, Police forces, education AND medical professions. Crazy conspiracy theory more like it rather than researched misinformation. And YES marijuana DOES cause physically psychological AND social harm. Ive seen it before.
@GermanConquistador08 All right, look, trust whomever you want, believe what you want to believe. I can tell you some horror stories about people who've abused cheeseburgers. Does that mean that no one should be allowed to eat them? Marijuana can be abused and misused. It CAN cause those harms, but then so can anything that's worth doing. If it's made legal, no one's going to put a gun to your head and make you smoke it. Keep it away from kids and let grown-ups decide for themselves.
@FosterBoys Yes, thank you, I will. I will believe what I want to believe based off of evidence Ive seen and research I have made, not half-ass speals about the government being evil because they might be telling people lies about the harmless poor defenceless marijuana plants and the people who smoke them, as they destroy our freedoms and control us by taking away our stress relievers that we really dont need in life anyways.
It's heartening to see that as many braincells as I've killed over my years of partying, I'm still a league above your average sycophantic authoritarian drug warrior punk in cognitive faculty.
@paranoiastrksdp Im a High School junior, so unless your the same grade, I assume your in college mostly because only College students get overly involved in politics, especially the drug issue to look intelligent. So unless you arent, then of course your in a league above me, your older you fucking moron. I dont know your community respect and status, grades, extra ciriculars or any of the sort so lets not argue semantics.
@GermanConquistador08 Until you identified yourself as a juvenile, it was easy to believe that you were an adult, given that the arguments of legalization opponents tend to be so hopelessly misinformed and petulant. They, like most children have not yet learned that correlation does not equal causation.
However, since you have conducted yourself with some degree of dignity and respect, I will allow you to continue to post here, if you so choose.
That is, you've treated ME with some measure of decorum, as your comment that I am responding to was not directed at me. Of course, you may actually feel that I am a f*ing moron, but you've had the courtesy of not calling me one directly.
@FosterBoys Also, the reason that I debated with you with more respect than I did with paranoiastrsk is because he insulted my family, me, and my intelligence. Im sorry but when you heard the story of someones family member who was kidnapped by ruthless cartels and the responce you formulate is "Fuck your aunt" seems a bit discrediting. Thats all.
@FosterBoys Thank you. I appreciate that. Although, I dont believe that most anti-drug proponents are misinformed, but that they dont do enough research before the fact that drugs are bad, seems to work for them because they dont feel that they need to convince congress, strong supporters of legalization, or idiotic fellow students who are deadset on the belief that its 100% ok and try to convince ME of it. (A nicer way of peer pressure you might infer)
@Will200591K In fact I would take it one step further and say that the pot "myths" are they themselves myths, propagaded by supporters of marijuana in order to push a legalization agenda. Forgive me if that sounded a bit slap-dash but when the most responbiel trustworthy people I know tell me that pot is horrible for health and leads to pycholgoical and attitude problems further in life, I've seen that. To put it another way, ive never met an intelligent pot smoker.
@FosterBoys And Ive eaten plenty of cheeseburgers in my life, and none have ever made me cough horribly, pass out then have trouble breathing the next 3 days. Except that one from burger king two weeks ago of course. In all seriousness, heres the facts, if you smoke marijuana you directly contribute to the deaths of police officers, children and soldiers in all American nations, and if you tell a pot smoker this, no matter who it is they STILL WILL SMOKE IT! Im sorry, but thats not responble!
I use a vaporizer and I legally grow my own toke. (licensed, tax-paying)
Enlighten me as to how this is contributing to the death of police officers (SUCH A DANGEROUS JOB), children (THINK OF THE CHILDREN GOD WONT SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN) and soldiers (SUPPORT OUR TROOPS DERP DERP YELLOW RIBBON)
Yep you fail again. You're embarrassing yourself with these sorry appeals to emotion. That shit may have worked in the 80s.... Just stop while you're ahead.
@paranoiastrksdp My friends are caring people, many have lost or have family been hurt by cowardly drug lords and their supplies namely PEOPLE LIKE YOU! Make sure you know your opposions position. And congradulations, you should be put in jail for propagading the SCAM of medical marijuana. Its a scam, and with universal health care now, thats exactly what our country needs. A bunch of potheads looking for free weed by the government so they can get high, paid by the taxpyaers.
@paranoiastrksdp So being young excludes me from having an opinon? Not earning money (If by job you mean activity that benifts a portion of society, yes I do I just dont get payed for it) Im exposed to drug situations often in HIgh School, Im sure you were too. I have family that can be easily harmed because of drugs. Both of those facts, and I think you can overlook my age thank you.
It's good to know that MY taxes that I actually have to PAY are going to shoddy ass public education though. Good lord the modern American high-school is a moron mill. Your teachers are doing you a great disservice.
@GermanConquistador08 while what you say is true i have to disagree. Why is it that we have to accept that the government has our best interest when the longer we watch them the more they prove they only look out for themselves and their wallets not to say all government officials are like that but its looking like it. Prohibition obviously hasnt worked. And besides who is the government to tell us what to put in our body if we arent harming anyone else or even ourselves why is it illeagal?
@Will200591K Usually I would have to agree, but in this case, the federal government is not the main entity for the enforcement of drugs. I think that we should take the demand for drug enforcement down to a local level, stopping in the small time criminals of the drug empires, while federal FBI (In the same way the military is part of the government but still is acting in our best intrests, for the most part) take on the bigger challenges.
@GermanConquistador08 Medical marijuana is not a scam it increases the quality of life for people with terrible diseases. I know you have dealt with some past issues of mj with your aunt and the cartel and what not but thats no excuse to deny people a medicine with less side effects and no harm to your liver especially when people are in so much pain and discomfort it dwindles their will to live, If allowing the sick to medicate was the only way to keep em alive would you still prosecute them?
@Will200591K And the government doesnt have to tell you what you can put in your body, but who are YOU to allow drug lords to order the deaths of hundreds? Your actions in drugs connect lives of thousands, and other similar issues dont have that same variable. Alcohol prohibition didnt work for economic reasons that translated into social problems, not the other way around. The alcohol buisnesses could not handle the prohibiton and thousands were out of work.
You are well within your right to have your opinion on legalization. But that doesnt mean you should force it on others that dont share your opinion. Have you ever smoked pot? Or been around good people who smoke it? they arent harming anyone or doing anything terrible. They are people like you and me who just want to enjoy their plant and not be judged or harassed we dont want everyone who doesnt smoke pot to start so why should we stop cuz others have a different way of thinking.
@Will200591K Thats what makes drug and alcohol prohibition different, eliminating alcohol buisness puts people out of work, eliminating drug buisnesses, makes people safer from criminals. Im not supporting or against medical miarjuana, but I dont think its a neccisary or even useful aspect of our medicine. Its mostly used as a pain killer for kemotherapy, even thought kemoptherapy is the least effective way of treating cancer.
@paranoiastrksdp So, in YOUR opinon, we should let police officers, children, and soldiers die so you can have your stress relievers so you dont have to deal with reality? Emotional appeals are part of an arguement. Its TRUE ABSOLUTLY TRUE that these people die everyday because of drug lords and people like you who support policies that would aid them. Emotional appeals, sure but ITS THE TRUTH! People die because of it! Making fun of them, only disrespects their memories, thanks fucking loser.
@paranoiastrksdp Also, im pretty sure you've lost all creditibilty with that statement. Either you have no emotion to human beings, you believe so strongly that you'd not care if anti-drug proponent died, or you ignorant, either way you should know better. Smart people get kidnapped, dumb people get kidnapped. But if someone pulls out a gun and yell at you to come with them, then YES THAT IS NOT A STUPID THING TO DO TO GO WITH THEM, you fucking ignorant idiot. Lets move on for your sake.
@paranoiastrksdp Ok, hemp for clothing has been around for a while. Its durable clothing yes. However, without being serious right now, its feels like a potato sack. Ive felt hemp clothing before, it doesnt seem like a comfortable clothing material, so unless that was somehow different than what you probably have, Im sorry, i can assume that theres not a big market for it. There probably was before. Also homegrown hemp=domestic terrorism, yep. I can explain why, but you dont care id assume.
You've already made produced so many logical fallacies and flawed arguments that debating you would be like beating a dead horse. I've proven you for the moronic authoritarian future-thug you are in front of the entire internet. My work is done. The practice was fun but I have grown-up stuff to do like work, pay taxes, have sex, etc. Good day sir.
@paranoiastrksdp Logically fallacies? You dont even know what that means! Wow. Fallacies of irrelevent conclusion or incorrect reasoning is the only thing I can think of. And Im sorry, but if your faunting that you are much older than I am, I have a right to think that maybe your not really as old as you say you are, or your extremely immature and wont take a debate for what it is. Hope you experience some bad luck in the drugs you so heartfully defend. Thank you and goodbye.
@paranoiastrksdp Indeed I do. And Im actually proud of my conduct in this debate. Afterall I was argueing against someone who couldnt form coherent points, had no respect whatsoever and frankly, Im not embarred. I feel proud when I debate supporters of drugs. Its a topic Im very passionate on, along other political issues. But I do feel as though Ive failed. My goal was to get you seriously thinking about your position. Clearly, I have to get you thinking, but I cant say I didnt try.
@paranoiastrksdp haha you still believe that mainstream media is confirmed fact do some outside research and learn buddy not everything they say is true.
@GermanConquistador08 although i dont blame you for being pissed at that other guy... people like him give pot a bad rap. Im not saying its the best thing in the world but it is faaaaaarrr from the worst. There are far more dangerous, legal, things to put in your body. On top of that smoking weed has not directly killed anyone. Most of the pot myths have been disproven so i would really like to know what factual evidence you base your opinion of disliking pot on.
@Will200591K Ive been around people who have smoked pot for an extended period of time, I just dealt with one today this morning, I bumped into a kid and we had a confrontation, a simple accidental shove of the arm and the kid became violent and lashed out at me, yelling threats. While I was countering the verbal backlash I noticed his eyes were a bright red on the ends and his breath smelled grassy, a weird smell. I soon put the pieces together, and a medically minded friend of my agreed.
@Will200591K No, I dont believe that the pot "myths" are myths at all. Ive dealt with many pot smokers in my life at my school, I dont care if you believe me or not, but when experts, including my health teacher and doctor tells me that smoking pot reduced brain activity, leads to health problems, and changes the attitude of the smoker, I believe them, not because I have some sort oif pathological need to, but because Ive seen it first hand. Im pretty sure those "myths" are 100% true.
@FosterBoys And if you would rather relieve your stress because you cant deal with life, or you are so horrificly stupid thatyou cant figure out a more apropriate form of entertainment than save the lives of children, police, and soldiers who die EVERYDAY from the guns that pot smokers and crackheads give to gangs and cartels in FACE of all these facts than you offically lose your ability to make this decision for yourself! That is my opinon.
@GermanConquistador08 So much for civil discourse. It's a shame that you used up so much of your anger on a non-smoker. That's right. I would love to, but currently, it's against the law and I don't want to go to jail or have my children taken away from me. So look, this was fun while it lasted, but let's just go ahead and agree to disagree.
@FosterBoys Indeed. I made two other responces attacking your actually argument, but it looks like someone took them down. Hmmm. Im not going to go on a tangent or anything, but if you want to do this over messaging, so we both have no pre-limited space to speak, just say so, it would be much easier. I apolgize but the MAJORITY of marijuana supporters are users themselves. Sorry, and I hope your children dont do drugs either.
@GermanConquistador08 None of your comments have been deleted. The ones that I reply to are up top under "Uploader Comments", the others are under "All Comments". I'm not a fan of censorship, even if I don't agree, so you can keep commenting without worrying about that. I hope my kids don't do drugs either. But when they're old enough to make that decision, I hope they never look to drugs as a way of escaping life. Not every drinker is an alcoholic and most know when to say "no".
@FosterBoys Oh. I see. When did they add this? Nevermind. Anyways, Id just like dicussion and debate. About most things, I can keep my head. But for drugs, I really dont. My aunt lives in Mexico, and was nearly kidnapped by the cartles. A bit of motivation you see. So, when I think of someone, supporting anything that will kill innocent people, especially when they COULD be my family, well you can see how that gets me where it needs to. Im very zero tolerence on this issue.
@paranoiastrksdp Alcohol prohibition was swiftly excecuted with no compensation being given to the workers hurt by it. Drugs arent a core part of our economy like Alcohol. There are no jobs that DRUGS create? NONE you fucking idiot! Anyone who compaires alcohol prohibition to the drug war, has NO economic or historically knowlegde on the subject. Guns are available for sale in many countries, yet theres a huge gun market. Prohibition of anything doesnt=massive demand for it instantly.
@paranoiastrksdp I think its obvious to say that the CIA has a LOT of resources. The DEA's budget and international power is signifcantly less than that. They simply CANT spend the resources for corrupted agents. Its way more difficult. THis IM sure you can agree that the DEA is less powerful than the CIA. Now, theyre even advising Afgani anti-drug and terrorists portions of their army on how to fight effectively. You arguement about the DEA is simply incorrect. CIA I'd believe it.
@paranoiastrksdp Ok I just looked up your words exactly and two different phrasings of what you said, I didnt see one picture. So either this is really well hidden, or your a fucking lying. "Fuck your aunt" Well, I can see how this could be a lost cause. If your willing to dismiss another human lifes experience, then Im sorry but I think you've really lost your credibilty.
@paranoiastrksdp And Ive already explained why my name is Germanconquistador and if you didnt read hoo bloody rah. Moving on. And I just looked at that video it was a joke. All it showed was US soldier walking around poppy fields! Hardly the drug smuggling activities you spoke of. And yes I know US actions havnt been ideal in the middle east, I disagree with their conduct, but the Eastern hermispheres drug trade isnt what I've researched and know, and typically is not what I debate about.
What about the children terrorized and shot in wrong door raids? What about people like Kathryn Johnston, a 92 year old woman who had SWAT burst into her home and riddle her with bullets, then planting crack cocaine on her?
The casualties in the drug war go way beyond your aunt's misfortune. Yet people like you will say they "deserved" it. It goes both ways.
@paranoiastrksdp First of all, to look at both sides, Johnston did fire on the officers but I agree absolutly. Civilian drug users cant be dealt with like common drug dealers should be. Here we have, SWAT bashing down civilians doors when they SHOULD be out smashing on the doors of gang hideouts. I disagree with the conduct of the drug war on a civilian level. However, supporters of drug actions need to be brought down in other ways, through fellow civilian and local police action for example
@paranoiastrksdp Ok in order 1. I believe I have the right to be angry when Ive had my aunt nearly kidnapped and murdered by drug cartels. Its not an isolated incident, thousands of Mexicans every year lose loved ones due to idiotic short-sighted American drugies like you. So yes, I believe I have the right to be angry, moving on.
@paranoiastrksdp As for my name, Im mostly German, on my moms side. My dad is Mexican. I love both cultures. The Conquistadors represent two conquistas. The conquest of the Moors in Hispania, and the conquest of America, the first being the main reason. Conquistador envokes both Spanish and Mexican. So thats why I picked the name. But your a conspiracy theorist so you assume its all part of some Nazi backstory without any proof. And if you said as joke, its still pretty fucking stupid.
Look kid you better learn to do research and fast. Use the internet, use books, use everything at your disposal. Right now you're well on your way to flipping the burgers that I eat when I have the munchies....Which would be terrifically poetic in and of itself.
@paranoiastrksdp Oh god. I have the sinking feeling that all I am is argueing politics with a college prick who smoked enough week to think that hes intelligent. As Katt Williams once said "There aint anything worse than a dumbass so high he thinks hes smart" (Paraphrasing of course) But very well I accept the challenge. If I didnt know anything about the topic than I would be able to argue it AT ALL! I DO use sources its just from both sides not just the pot smoking demographic.
@paranoiastrksdp The DEA has never had an incident where they transported drugs in an attempt to increase the drug trade. The CIA on the other hand, is an internationally working part of the US government, and since the DEA is a domesticlly operating then the idea of there being a connection between the two is not just wrong, its stupid. Yes, the DEA and CIA team up to take heroin to drug lords. What a brillent theory. Right up there with there being Aliens in New Mexico.
n the 1990s, the CIA and DEA were involved in a drug smuggling operation with Lebanese and Syrian drug traffickers, which used Pan Am aircraft to smuggle opium out of Frankfurt, Germany.
Don't let the facts get in the way of your black & white worldview, though.
Again, you haven't even been alive long enough to understand the corrosive effect the war on drugs has had on our society. You're hardly an authority because your dumb-ass aunt got herself kidnapped.
@paranoiastrksdp I'd believe that. The CIA has a horrible habbit of doing immoral things in the middle east, and its true, the DEA has advisory and support teams and has had them in Germany for a long time, also its good to remember that Lebenon and Syria dont have good anti-drug policies, which makes it easy for a drug smuggler to corrupt a few CIA agents and get them to transport drugs. But the DEA cant do things the CIA can do, so they're less suseptable to corruption. Power = Corrupt.
@paranoiastrksdp Agreed with both of 2 out of three of those statements. If you read my channel I say that I think the American school system is horrificly terrible.
Taiwan Heroin Smuggling Operation CIA / KMT officials
Iran-Contra
Manuel Noriega
Haiti death squads / drug cartel
CIA airplane full of cocaine crashes in Yucatan
Next time you try to act "brillent" (sic) and make someone look like a foolish conspiracy theorist...save yourself some face and do your homework. You're embarrassing yourself.
@paranoiastrksdp Ok lets go through this: Taiwan - Theres not a huge heroin market in Taiwan. You're thinking of the PPC, tha mainland, where the government actually grows and sells drugs to drug lords for money. Look how bad crime over there is, and thats where its legal AND the government makes it themselves. Thanks for the great evidence. Iran - Weapons, not drugs. Manuel Noriega - Went rouge from the CIA. Haiti - True. Yucatan - Provide context please?Was it off for destruction of the drugs?
Second of all, the Kuomintang is based in Taiwan.
Third of all - "for destruction of the drugs" - are you seriously this naive?
Fourth - Iran -Contra involved the Contras selling drugs under the umbrella of the CIA to fund their operations against the Sandinistas. When congress pulled the plug, the CIA sold weapons to Iran to make up for the budget shortfall.
@paranoiastrksdp PRC sorry. I know who the Kuomintang is, their a political party, the ruluing one at that. For Iran, I agree with you here, the Contras weres a US plot to keep control in the region and drugs were a part of that, they went into their money supply this is actually a truthful statement. Also YES many drugs are legal in China! And if they arent, then the laws ar very badly enforced.
@paranoiastrksdp I know about the Opium wars, China is also historically a monarchy with strong cultural traditions. The PRC ignores a lot of Chinese history and generally doesnt care about it citizens. And excuse me if I have doubts about your excersion to China. In a debate usually each member has to take each others word for everything, but why the hell were you in the middle of Southern Communist China? Why were you there?
Also...Heroin... legal in China? Are you seriously this fucking dumb?
And the crime rate is a lot lower over there than it is in the states. When I was in Beihai I didn't have to be afraid to walk down a dark alley at night like I do when I'm in Chicago.
@paranoiastrksdp Im actually suprised about this. Unless of course you were in a tourist area, totalitarian countries usually have a well protected area for tourists. Also, crime statistics are gather by the UN and communist countries like Cuba and China self-report. According to Cuba, its a healthy, happy, crime-free country. Im sure even you know thats not true. Same with China.
Has anything that your "friends" have done reduced the drug supply? Drug demand?
Oh I know, they just need more money / we need less civil liberties. Right? Then they can win. I've been hearing that bullshit for 30 years. Meanwhile our infrastructure rots...
Your friends are pigs gorging themselves at the government trough. Their addiction is money and authority. This kind of addict is far more dangerous than any pot head as he will do anything to feed his addiction.
@paranoiastrksdp The best way to remove criminal presence is from the bottom up in my opinon. Increasing LOCAL POLICE not federal police, provide court setences for ALL members of a perticularly gang which one members is conviced (We know how gangs work, use that to take them down?), work with Central America and South America to make sure these policies are well implemented, and provide educational material to those arrested for drug possession on what THEY cause everyday. Thats my solutions.
@kevywevykevy Prescription drugs have killed people, but often its due to the use of the product in a way that its wasnt intended to be used. Kind of detratches from the arguement in that case. However, illegal drugs are those that cause harm when used CORRCTELY. Prescription drugs have helped billions of people. Marijuana hasnt helped society whatsoever. "ALCOHOL companies" - And marijuana supporters fund and support legalization campaigns. Doesnt make anything false automatically.
@FosterBoys All Im saying is that the differences are so vast you cant even compair them. Drugs are an optional, unneccisary time and money wasters, while oil is the primary source of energy we use here on Earth in this century. Theres a LOT of excuses why we drive cars, theres NO NONE AT ALL excuses why people cant stop using drugs. Thats why I say, it would be so simple for the vast majority, forget everyone, the vast majority of the population to end drug use, casul or not.
@GermanConquistador08 mexican drug cartels traffic heroin, cocaine, and amphetamines. domestic marijuana consumption is supplied almost exclusively by domestic producers. in some states, licenses are distributed to professionals who specialize in the production of marijuana. in most major metropolitan areas, marijuana has become de facto decriminalized. the neurological effects of marijuana are now well known and all medical professionals agree that it is the safest of any illegal drug.
@flyinghamster9 "domestic marijuana consumption is supplied almost exclusively by domestic producers." - Thats actually not true, AT ALL. Mexican drug cartels supply more marijuana than any "local" producer. Why? Because in Central and South America, theres less rule of law around rural areas, leaving large tracts of open, unobserved land on which to grow huge marijuna crops. And in MOST state, and all countries marijuana is still illegal.
@flyinghamster9 "professionals who specialize in the production of marijuana" -Thats untrue as well. The production of marijuana is only legal for medical purposes. Recreational uses of the drug isnt legal anywhere in the world. There isnt a single countries which has legalized marijuana. And decriminalization isnt the same thing as legalized, and decriminalization is still a useless endevor anyways. "all medical professionals agree that it is the safest of any illegal drug." -No, not all do.
@flyinghamster9 "safest of any illegal drug." - That part is true, but its not very much considering. Marijuana does have harmful side-effects that most marijuana users and supports will either outright deny or try to minimize the exposure of as much as possible because it dramatically weakens their arguements. Ultimately, marijuana is rightfully illegal and should remain so. Human civilization should be striving towards a near-perfect society. A perfect society has no room for drugs.
CANNABIS, not "marijuana", a word completely made up by our government, is safer than many of the prescription drugs we are told to take. While there are some consequences that can occur when excessively abused, as there are with abusing ANYTHING, cannabis is very beneficial for many medical patients going through pain and many other conditions.
@kevywevykevy "cannabis is very beneficial for many medical patients going through pain and many other conditions." - People thought the same of cocaine and opium less than a century ago. How longer will it be for people to admit the same of marijuana?
@kevywevykevy "dies from cannabis use" - Use or useage? People have died from suffication of the smoke, died while driving high, and died from episodes of paranoia or from cancer. Death from actual usage however ISNT relevent because its effects have lead to death.
How many people have ever died from the things you listed? I guarantee it's not close to the number of people that die every year from prescription medications, tobacco and alcohol. And cancer? Do your research my friend it's old news that cannabis doesn't cause cancer, in fact some studies have shown THC and cannabinoids can cause apoptosis in cancer cells.
@kevywevykevy "that die every year from prescription medications" -Prescription medication is tried, tested and cautiously distributed using billions of dollars by multi-national corporations in order to cure or treat ailments. Marijuana is a plant used to get high that can be grown by anyone, often has harmful chemical mixed into the sold product and even without that, its still useless to use, and except for limited PAIN treatment (not cancer treatment mind you) its a useless planet.
Ok, CANNABIS is not treated as prescription drug and tested as a prescription drug because its a Schedule 1 drug, which is ridiculous. You really need to do some research on cannabis my friend because although prescription drugs are tested, they still KILL people, something that cannabis fails to do.
@kevywevykevy "You really need to do some research on cannabis my friend" -People who say that "you need to do your research" are really scratching at the bottom of the barrel in terms of arguements. I've done my research, it just happens to conflict with the research that YOU have done. "prescription drugs are tested, they still KILL people" - EVERYTHING kills people. Its like saying something causes cancer. MOST things have the potential, very few are lethal.
The point is that cannabis causes the fewest deaths when compared to legal drugs. "Marijuana hasn't helped society whatsoever"- Tell that to all of the suffering cancer patients who go through excessive vomiting and can't eat while going through chemo... And yes I am aware that many people just use their medical card to get high, but many people also use it for the purpose of helping them through the everyday pain they experience.
@kevywevykevy "Tell that to all of the suffering cancer patients" - Again, Marijuana isnt a cancer CURE its pretty much nothing more than a painkiller for chemo patients. There are better treatments, there are more effective treatements however, marijuana is just used because its convienient.
When did I ever say it was a cure? I said that it relieves pain for the patients and helps them with nausea and helps them to eat while going through chemo more efficiently than prescription medicine.
@kevywevykevy "I said that it relieves pain for the patients and helps them with nausea...more efficiently than prescription medicine." -That is not a proven statement. First of all, the way that medical marijuana is used, and recreational marijuana is used are two different things. Secondly, prescription medicine and cures DO work better than herbal ones, modern medicine works better than "medicine" from PLANTS! All joking aside, prescription medicines for CANCER MIGHT be the rare exception
Of course using cannabis medically and recreationally are two very different things. Prescription cures definitely work better than cannabis, as cannabis isn't a cure. But when someone is looking for pain medicine, cannabis is a safer alternative for some to say oxycontin or vicodin. Those two drugs can be highly addictive, even when they are used in the right way, something that cannot be said of cannabis.
@kevywevykevy " cannabis is a safer alternative for some to say oxycontin or vicodin" -That I will agree with. I would like to see a more potent yet less addictive pain killer. "highly addictive, even when they are used in the right way, something that cannot be said of cannabis." - Thats not true. Its true that marijuana isnt addictive because of its contents BUT the same thing is true of pain killers. They're not chemically addictive, they're psychologically addictive.
@GermanConquistador08 OK. Stop. Three years of listening to the arguments of your "research" that has been disproved. Three years of listening to the ignorance that I have fought (and have been winning) to dispel. I get it -- you will not be educated. Take your incessant need to have the last word on to some other cause. We all understand your unwavering abhorrence for the truth. Move on. I can no more listen to you perpetuate this lie than I could if you chose to deny the holocaust.
ya know my old man used to tell me about how amerikkkan planes would fly over weed crops in Belize and spray them with herbicides to kill em off, but the run-off would seep in to well water and make whole villages sick. that was why ppl hated americakkkans down there, oh except for the ones employed in the tourism business.
Yep, fifty years, $200 billion and countless incarcerations later drugs are more widely available than ever, so I think it's pretty clear they aren't going to win this one.
THEY do yeah, but the general public still thinks that it's a genuine fight against the drug menace. They need to see its claim is false before they will change their minds about what to do about it.
The problem with people today is intellectual sloth. Far too many of them suffer from a "bumper-sticker mentality", meaning they are not willing to devote any more attention to an issue than what is needed to read an eye-catching slogan, and will most often subscribe to the one they find most cleverly worded, with little or no examination or debate. But there will never be enough said on this subject until the Draconian laws in question are repealed, and common sense is allowed to reign again.
great vid, this precious herb has been crimanalized for to long(70 long hard years)! us stoners r a peceful group, we dont kill, we dont hate, all we want is the freedom to do what we love, to many people hav been put away for this Irrational acts of hate by an ignorant government
A great compilation--good job. Ask your spin doctor is prohibition is right for you. Possible side-effects include incarceration, loss of liberties including but not limited to denial of higher education, the adoption of your children, increased risk of chemical poisoning and blood-born disease, or even death.

GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08 Thanks for your comment. It's always good to hear from the opposition. Yes, I do believe that legalization is a good idea and I also believe that the government is at fault for propagating lies and hypocrisy. I'm curious about why you think I'm wrong.
Did you know that if everyone in the US stopped driving cars tomorrow, there goes the oil crisis? Wow, what a simple notion. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. There are no easy answers in this world to anything.
FosterBoys 1 year ago
@FosterBoys Why would the government lie about weed? It makes no sense. So your saying, the government, my health teachers, my doctor, and the hundreds of anti-drug organzations are liers? Id love it if youd explain this to me why? And no, if everyone stoped driving, we'd still have electricity, factories, planes, etc that need oil. Plus, we are NOT having an oil crisis, oils not close to running out, but thats not what im argueing right now.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08 In re: The Lies:OK, where do I start. Your health teachers and doctors are repeating the disinformation that has been handed to them by the government-backed anti-drug organizations. "Research" done by groups like NIDA (Nat'l. Inst. on Drug Abuse) is misleading at best and usually wrong at its worst.
When not abused (which any drug can be), marijuana is not socially, physically, or psychologically harmful. I've done the meta-analysis of NIDA's research. It's shameful.
FosterBoys 1 year ago
@FosterBoys Ok, so I guess I also shouldnt trust my friends in the DEA, Police Force, or military either when they tell me that what you and people like you say are bullshit as well? I doubt anti-drig organizations can pull the wool over the eyes of the people in the Military, Police forces, education AND medical professions. Crazy conspiracy theory more like it rather than researched misinformation. And YES marijuana DOES cause physically psychological AND social harm. Ive seen it before.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08 All right, look, trust whomever you want, believe what you want to believe. I can tell you some horror stories about people who've abused cheeseburgers. Does that mean that no one should be allowed to eat them? Marijuana can be abused and misused. It CAN cause those harms, but then so can anything that's worth doing. If it's made legal, no one's going to put a gun to your head and make you smoke it. Keep it away from kids and let grown-ups decide for themselves.
FosterBoys 1 year ago
@FosterBoys Yes, thank you, I will. I will believe what I want to believe based off of evidence Ive seen and research I have made, not half-ass speals about the government being evil because they might be telling people lies about the harmless poor defenceless marijuana plants and the people who smoke them, as they destroy our freedoms and control us by taking away our stress relievers that we really dont need in life anyways.

PS - Fuck your aunt.
paranoiastrksdp 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08 Until you identified yourself as a juvenile, it was easy to believe that you were an adult, given that the arguments of legalization opponents tend to be so hopelessly misinformed and petulant. They, like most children have not yet learned that correlation does not equal causation.
However, since you have conducted yourself with some degree of dignity and respect, I will allow you to continue to post here, if you so choose.
FosterBoys 1 year ago
That is, you've treated ME with some measure of decorum, as your comment that I am responding to was not directed at me. Of course, you may actually feel that I am a f*ing moron, but you've had the courtesy of not calling me one directly.
FosterBoys 1 year ago
@FosterBoys Also, the reason that I debated with you with more respect than I did with paranoiastrsk is because he insulted my family, me, and my intelligence. Im sorry but when you heard the story of someones family member who was kidnapped by ruthless cartels and the responce you formulate is "Fuck your aunt" seems a bit discrediting. Thats all.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@FosterBoys Thank you. I appreciate that. Although, I dont believe that most anti-drug proponents are misinformed, but that they dont do enough research before the fact that drugs are bad, seems to work for them because they dont feel that they need to convince congress, strong supporters of legalization, or idiotic fellow students who are deadset on the belief that its 100% ok and try to convince ME of it. (A nicer way of peer pressure you might infer)
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08 also sorry about your aunt those people who did that are truly disgusting and will get whats coming to them.
Will200591K 1 year ago
@Will200591K In fact I would take it one step further and say that the pot "myths" are they themselves myths, propagaded by supporters of marijuana in order to push a legalization agenda. Forgive me if that sounded a bit slap-dash but when the most responbiel trustworthy people I know tell me that pot is horrible for health and leads to pycholgoical and attitude problems further in life, I've seen that. To put it another way, ive never met an intelligent pot smoker.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@FosterBoys And Ive eaten plenty of cheeseburgers in my life, and none have ever made me cough horribly, pass out then have trouble breathing the next 3 days. Except that one from burger king two weeks ago of course. In all seriousness, heres the facts, if you smoke marijuana you directly contribute to the deaths of police officers, children and soldiers in all American nations, and if you tell a pot smoker this, no matter who it is they STILL WILL SMOKE IT! Im sorry, but thats not responble!
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08

Will200591K 1 year ago
@Will200591K Usually I would have to agree, but in this case, the federal government is not the main entity for the enforcement of drugs. I think that we should take the demand for drug enforcement down to a local level, stopping in the small time criminals of the drug empires, while federal FBI (In the same way the military is part of the government but still is acting in our best intrests, for the most part) take on the bigger challenges.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08 Medical marijuana is not a scam it increases the quality of life for people with terrible diseases. I know you have dealt with some past issues of mj with your aunt and the cartel and what not but thats no excuse to deny people a medicine with less side effects and no harm to your liver especially when people are in so much pain and discomfort it dwindles their will to live, If allowing the sick to medicate was the only way to keep em alive would you still prosecute them?
Will200591K 1 year ago
@Will200591K And the government doesnt have to tell you what you can put in your body, but who are YOU to allow drug lords to order the deaths of hundreds? Your actions in drugs connect lives of thousands, and other similar issues dont have that same variable. Alcohol prohibition didnt work for economic reasons that translated into social problems, not the other way around. The alcohol buisnesses could not handle the prohibiton and thousands were out of work.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
You are well within your right to have your opinion on legalization. But that doesnt mean you should force it on others that dont share your opinion. Have you ever smoked pot? Or been around good people who smoke it? they arent harming anyone or doing anything terrible. They are people like you and me who just want to enjoy their plant and not be judged or harassed we dont want everyone who doesnt smoke pot to start so why should we stop cuz others have a different way of thinking.
Will200591K 1 year ago
@Will200591K Thats what makes drug and alcohol prohibition different, eliminating alcohol buisness puts people out of work, eliminating drug buisnesses, makes people safer from criminals. Im not supporting or against medical miarjuana, but I dont think its a neccisary or even useful aspect of our medicine. Its mostly used as a pain killer for kemotherapy, even thought kemoptherapy is the least effective way of treating cancer.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@paranoiastrksdp So, in YOUR opinon, we should let police officers, children, and soldiers die so you can have your stress relievers so you dont have to deal with reality? Emotional appeals are part of an arguement. Its TRUE ABSOLUTLY TRUE that these people die everyday because of drug lords and people like you who support policies that would aid them. Emotional appeals, sure but ITS THE TRUTH! People die because of it! Making fun of them, only disrespects their memories, thanks fucking loser.

Will200591K 1 year ago
@Will200591K Ive been around people who have smoked pot for an extended period of time, I just dealt with one today this morning, I bumped into a kid and we had a confrontation, a simple accidental shove of the arm and the kid became violent and lashed out at me, yelling threats. While I was countering the verbal backlash I noticed his eyes were a bright red on the ends and his breath smelled grassy, a weird smell. I soon put the pieces together, and a medically minded friend of my agreed.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@Will200591K No, I dont believe that the pot "myths" are myths at all. Ive dealt with many pot smokers in my life at my school, I dont care if you believe me or not, but when experts, including my health teacher and doctor tells me that smoking pot reduced brain activity, leads to health problems, and changes the attitude of the smoker, I believe them, not because I have some sort oif pathological need to, but because Ive seen it first hand. Im pretty sure those "myths" are 100% true.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@FosterBoys And if you would rather relieve your stress because you cant deal with life, or you are so horrificly stupid thatyou cant figure out a more apropriate form of entertainment than save the lives of children, police, and soldiers who die EVERYDAY from the guns that pot smokers and crackheads give to gangs and cartels in FACE of all these facts than you offically lose your ability to make this decision for yourself! That is my opinon.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08 So much for civil discourse. It's a shame that you used up so much of your anger on a non-smoker. That's right. I would love to, but currently, it's against the law and I don't want to go to jail or have my children taken away from me. So look, this was fun while it lasted, but let's just go ahead and agree to disagree.
FosterBoys 1 year ago
@FosterBoys Indeed. I made two other responces attacking your actually argument, but it looks like someone took them down. Hmmm. Im not going to go on a tangent or anything, but if you want to do this over messaging, so we both have no pre-limited space to speak, just say so, it would be much easier. I apolgize but the MAJORITY of marijuana supporters are users themselves. Sorry, and I hope your children dont do drugs either.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08 None of your comments have been deleted. The ones that I reply to are up top under "Uploader Comments", the others are under "All Comments". I'm not a fan of censorship, even if I don't agree, so you can keep commenting without worrying about that. I hope my kids don't do drugs either. But when they're old enough to make that decision, I hope they never look to drugs as a way of escaping life. Not every drinker is an alcoholic and most know when to say "no".
FosterBoys 1 year ago
@FosterBoys Oh. I see. When did they add this? Nevermind. Anyways, Id just like dicussion and debate. About most things, I can keep my head. But for drugs, I really dont. My aunt lives in Mexico, and was nearly kidnapped by the cartles. A bit of motivation you see. So, when I think of someone, supporting anything that will kill innocent people, especially when they COULD be my family, well you can see how that gets me where it needs to. Im very zero tolerence on this issue.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08
The cartels exist because prohibition creates a black market in which they thrive. Are you seriously that fucking dense?
When was the last gang war over alcohol? Fucking 1931?
paranoiastrksdp 1 year ago

And yes I know US actions havnt been ideal in the middle east, I disagree with their conduct, but the Eastern hermispheres drug trade isnt what I've researched and know, and typically is not what I debate about.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08
It goes both ways.
paranoiastrksdp 1 year ago
@paranoiastrksdp First of all, to look at both sides, Johnston did fire on the officers but I agree absolutly. Civilian drug users cant be dealt with like common drug dealers should be. Here we have, SWAT bashing down civilians doors when they SHOULD be out smashing on the doors of gang hideouts. I disagree with the conduct of the drug war on a civilian level. However, supporters of drug actions need to be brought down in other ways, through fellow civilian and local police action for example

We need something like that here in the states.
paranoiastrksdp 1 year ago
@paranoiastrksdp As for my name, Im mostly German, on my moms side. My dad is Mexican. I love both cultures. The Conquistadors represent two conquistas. The conquest of the Moors in Hispania, and the conquest of America, the first being the main reason. Conquistador envokes both Spanish and Mexican. So thats why I picked the name. But your a conspiracy theorist so you assume its all part of some Nazi backstory without any proof. And if you said as joke, its still pretty fucking stupid.

GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08
You mean the same DEA that helps the CIA run heroin? That DEA?
paranoiastrksdp 1 year ago
@paranoiastrksdp The DEA has never had an incident where they transported drugs in an attempt to increase the drug trade. The CIA on the other hand, is an internationally working part of the US government, and since the DEA is a domesticlly operating then the idea of there being a connection between the two is not just wrong, its stupid. Yes, the DEA and CIA team up to take heroin to drug lords. What a brillent theory. Right up there with there being Aliens in New Mexico.
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08
n the 1990s, the CIA and DEA were involved in a drug smuggling operation with Lebanese and Syrian drug traffickers, which used Pan Am aircraft to smuggle opium out of Frankfurt, Germany.
Don't let the facts get in the way of your black & white worldview, though.
Again, you haven't even been alive long enough to understand the corrosive effect the war on drugs has had on our society. You're hardly an authority because your dumb-ass aunt got herself kidnapped.
paranoiastrksdp 1 year ago
@paranoiastrksdp I'd believe that. The CIA has a horrible habbit of doing immoral things in the middle east, and its true, the DEA has advisory and support teams and has had them in Germany for a long time, also its good to remember that Lebenon and Syria dont have good anti-drug policies, which makes it easy for a drug smuggler to corrupt a few CIA agents and get them to transport drugs. But the DEA cant do things the CIA can do, so they're less suseptable to corruption. Power = Corrupt.

GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08
First of all, mainland China is called the PRC.
Again. You fail.

In a debate usually each member has to take each others word for everything, but why the hell were you in the middle of Southern Communist China? Why were you there?
GermanConquistador08 1 year ago
@GermanConquistador08
Also...Heroin... legal in China? Are you seriously this fucking dumb?
And the crime rate is a lot lower over there than it is in the states. When I was in Beihai I didn't have to be afraid to walk down a dark alley at night like I do when I'm in Chicago.
paranoiastrksdp 1 year ago

We've been trying your "solutions" longer than you've been alive, child. They don't work.

Do you know who "anti-drug" organizations are funded by? ALCOHOL companies. The "good" drug, coincidentally taxed drug.
kevywevykevy 2 months ago
@kevywevykevy Prescription drugs have killed people, but often its due to the use of the product in a way that its wasnt intended to be used. Kind of detratches from the arguement in that case. However, illegal drugs are those that cause harm when used CORRCTELY. Prescription drugs have helped billions of people. Marijuana hasnt helped society whatsoever. "ALCOHOL companies" - And marijuana supporters fund and support legalization campaigns. Doesnt make anything false automatically.
GermanConquistador08 2 months ago
@FosterBoys All Im saying is that the differences are so vast you cant even compair them. Drugs are an optional, unneccisary time and money wasters, while oil is the primary source of energy we use here on Earth in this century. Theres a LOT of excuses why we drive cars, theres NO NONE AT ALL excuses why people cant stop using drugs. Thats why I say, it would be so simple for the vast majority, forget everyone, the vast majority of the population to end drug use, casul or not.

@GermanConquistador08 mexican drug cartels traffic heroin, cocaine, and amphetamines. domestic marijuana consumption is supplied almost exclusively by domestic producers. in some states, licenses are distributed to professionals who specialize in the production of marijuana. in most major metropolitan areas, marijuana has become de facto decriminalized. the neurological effects of marijuana are now well known and all medical professionals agree that it is the safest of any illegal drug.
flyinghamster9 4 months ago
@flyinghamster9 "domestic marijuana consumption is supplied almost exclusively by domestic producers." - Thats actually not true, AT ALL. Mexican drug cartels supply more marijuana than any "local" producer. Why? Because in Central and South America, theres less rule of law around rural areas, leaving large tracts of open, unobserved land on which to grow huge marijuna crops. And in MOST state, and all countries marijuana is still illegal.
GermanConquistador08 4 months ago
@flyinghamster9 "professionals who specialize in the production of marijuana" -Thats untrue as well. The production of marijuana is only legal for medical purposes. Recreational uses of the drug isnt legal anywhere in the world. There isnt a single countries which has legalized marijuana. And decriminalization isnt the same thing as legalized, and decriminalization is still a useless endevor anyways. "all medical professionals agree that it is the safest of any illegal drug." -No, not all do.
GermanConquistador08 4 months ago
@flyinghamster9 "safest of any illegal drug." - That part is true, but its not very much considering. Marijuana does have harmful side-effects that most marijuana users and supports will either outright deny or try to minimize the exposure of as much as possible because it dramatically weakens their arguements. Ultimately, marijuana is rightfully illegal and should remain so. Human civilization should be striving towards a near-perfect society. A perfect society has no room for drugs.

@GermanConquistador08
CANNABIS, not "marijuana", a word completely made up by our government, is safer than many of the prescription drugs we are told to take. While there are some consequences that can occur when excessively abused, as there are with abusing ANYTHING, cannabis is very beneficial for many medical patients going through pain and many other conditions.
kevywevykevy 2 months ago
@kevywevykevy "cannabis is very beneficial for many medical patients going through pain and many other conditions." - People thought the same of cocaine and opium less than a century ago. How longer will it be for people to admit the same of marijuana?
GermanConquistador08 2 months ago
@GermanConquistador08
Well, when the FIRST PERSON EVER IN OUR HISTORY dies from cannabis use, maybe we'll revaluate how it compares to cocaine and opium.
kevywevykevy 2 months ago
@kevywevykevy "dies from cannabis use" - Use or useage? People have died from suffication of the smoke, died while driving high, and died from episodes of paranoia or from cancer. Death from actual usage however ISNT relevent because its effects have lead to death.
GermanConquistador08 2 months ago
@GermanConquistador08
How many people have ever died from the things you listed? I guarantee it's not close to the number of people that die every year from prescription medications, tobacco and alcohol. And cancer? Do your research my friend it's old news that cannabis doesn't cause cancer, in fact some studies have shown THC and cannabinoids can cause apoptosis in cancer cells.
kevywevykevy 2 months ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@kevywevykevy "that die every year from prescription medications" -Prescription medication is tried, tested and cautiously distributed using billions of dollars by multi-national corporations in order to cure or treat ailments. Marijuana is a plant used to get high that can be grown by anyone, often has harmful chemical mixed into the sold product and even without that, its still useless to use, and except for limited PAIN treatment (not cancer treatment mind you) its a useless planet.
GermanConquistador08 2 months ago
@GermanConquistador08
Ok, CANNABIS is not treated as prescription drug and tested as a prescription drug because its a Schedule 1 drug, which is ridiculous. You really need to do some research on cannabis my friend because although prescription drugs are tested, they still KILL people, something that cannabis fails to do.
kevywevykevy 2 months ago
@kevywevykevy "You really need to do some research on cannabis my friend" -People who say that "you need to do your research" are really scratching at the bottom of the barrel in terms of arguements. I've done my research, it just happens to conflict with the research that YOU have done. "prescription drugs are tested, they still KILL people" - EVERYTHING kills people. Its like saying something causes cancer. MOST things have the potential, very few are lethal.
GermanConquistador08 2 months ago
@GermanConquistador08
The point is that cannabis causes the fewest deaths when compared to legal drugs. "Marijuana hasn't helped society whatsoever"- Tell that to all of the suffering cancer patients who go through excessive vomiting and can't eat while going through chemo... And yes I am aware that many people just use their medical card to get high, but many people also use it for the purpose of helping them through the everyday pain they experience.
kevywevykevy 2 months ago
@kevywevykevy "Tell that to all of the suffering cancer patients" - Again, Marijuana isnt a cancer CURE its pretty much nothing more than a painkiller for chemo patients. There are better treatments, there are more effective treatements however, marijuana is just used because its convienient.
GermanConquistador08 2 months ago
@GermanConquistador08
When did I ever say it was a cure? I said that it relieves pain for the patients and helps them with nausea and helps them to eat while going through chemo more efficiently than prescription medicine.
kevywevykevy 2 months ago
@kevywevykevy "I said that it relieves pain for the patients and helps them with nausea...more efficiently than prescription medicine." -That is not a proven statement. First of all, the way that medical marijuana is used, and recreational marijuana is used are two different things. Secondly, prescription medicine and cures DO work better than herbal ones, modern medicine works better than "medicine" from PLANTS! All joking aside, prescription medicines for CANCER MIGHT be the rare exception
GermanConquistador08 2 months ago
@GermanConquistador08
Of course using cannabis medically and recreationally are two very different things. Prescription cures definitely work better than cannabis, as cannabis isn't a cure. But when someone is looking for pain medicine, cannabis is a safer alternative for some to say oxycontin or vicodin. Those two drugs can be highly addictive, even when they are used in the right way, something that cannot be said of cannabis.
kevywevykevy 2 months ago
@kevywevykevy " cannabis is a safer alternative for some to say oxycontin or vicodin" -That I will agree with. I would like to see a more potent yet less addictive pain killer. "highly addictive, even when they are used in the right way, something that cannot be said of cannabis." - Thats not true. Its true that marijuana isnt addictive because of its contents BUT the same thing is true of pain killers. They're not chemically addictive, they're psychologically addictive.
GermanConquistador08 2 months ago
@GermanConquistador08
Well at least we agree on point. Good debating with you sir.
kevywevykevy 2 months ago
@GermanConquistador08 OK. Stop. Three years of listening to the arguments of your "research" that has been disproved. Three years of listening to the ignorance that I have fought (and have been winning) to dispel. I get it -- you will not be educated. Take your incessant need to have the last word on to some other cause. We all understand your unwavering abhorrence for the truth. Move on. I can no more listen to you perpetuate this lie than I could if you chose to deny the holocaust.

Yep, fifty years, $200 billion and countless incarcerations later drugs are more widely available than ever, so I think it's pretty clear they aren't going to win this one.
Such a great song.

The one fallacy in your argument is the fact that you seem to believe that they WANT to win it.
In reality, an ENDLESS war is what they REALLY want.
Mo money, mo money.
mylongcylinder 3 years ago 4
THEY do yeah, but the general public still thinks that it's a genuine fight against the drug menace. They need to see its claim is false before they will change their minds about what to do about it.
AbbeyNormal 3 years ago 5
The problem with people today is intellectual sloth. Far too many of them suffer from a "bumper-sticker mentality", meaning they are not willing to devote any more attention to an issue than what is needed to read an eye-catching slogan, and will most often subscribe to the one they find most cleverly worded, with little or no examination or debate. But there will never be enough said on this subject until the Draconian laws in question are repealed, and common sense is allowed to reign again.

By all logical reasoning, we should legalize it!

A great compilation--good job. Ask your spin doctor is prohibition is right for you. Possible side-effects include incarceration, loss of liberties including but not limited to denial of higher education, the adoption of your children, increased risk of chemical poisoning and blood-born disease, or even death.
