I'm not poking fun of the singer, just stating fact, the singer is singing this song 85% flat & out of key. So what exactly do you people mean that he's singing this song so well? Is the actual recording worse than this? I just don't get it and I'm not being sarcastic. This is the first time hearing of this band and don't get this in the slightest.
@rparas34 I think the video may have been slowed down a little (which would move the pitch down too) to bypass the automatic copyright infringement notice that YouTube flags up for recordings from TV shows. The tuning for this version of the song is a semitone lower, so I'm guessing the footage and the pitch of the music was changed to make sure it even could be uploaded to YouTube. For what it's worth, this is one of my favourite performances of this song.

It amazes me how anyone can play music these days. These guy's music is so easy and non talented, yet they are on Conan. I have one thing to say about this. It's not how good you are, it's WHO YOU KNOW.
Man, if you're so much more talented than they're, then show us! Try to play the drums,the guitar, the violin, the key, and to sing like Conrad Keely does. Also, try to sing, to play the drums, the guitar like Jason Reece does. You also have to understand that music is not only about technique. Perhaps what matters the most are those feelings they put into their songs.

its probably in some open tuning like most of their stuff is
there is a tab up for this on their official site but I think a lot of that stuff is wrong or transcribed in non correct tunings
