Saw these guys a couple times while at Michigan State (Rick's American Cafe, East Lansing) circa 1992-1994...stack of hay and the whole lot! Good stuff! Thanks for posting it.
Gordon: The lead singer went on to form Blanche with his wife and friends and other members split off and did their own thing (Jack White, who was shortly a drummer for them in the '90s went on to form the White Stripes of course).
I saw this group at a street festival in Chicago by chance in the 1980s and bought their CD. Seeing them live was one of the best groups I had ever seen. So glad to just discover them on UTUBE. I don't understand why they never made it BIG> I simply LOVE their CD which is very rare to find. Anyone knows what happened to them?
One of my favorite Detroit memories is seeing Goober and the Peas and The Verve Pipe at St. Andrew Hall New Years Eve (I can't recall the exact year).
Mitchy...I was at that show too. I met Dan upstairs after the show and he's cool but I let him go cuz I was beyond hammered. I'm guessing 94 turning to 1995? Just a guess. Maybe a year earlier?
Pretty sure I heard this on 89X back in the day.

This song is so legendary... If only this band was bigger.. They deserve to be!

This is great. Reminds me of seeing Goober and the Peas in Windsor in the early 90s.
