Dick Contino, Pete Contino, & Corky Bennett in Yakima

Just returned from the Italian Fest in youngstown, ohio, about an hour ago. This man is still playing the keys off of that accordian. Great musician and entertainer.

I seen Dick Contino in Chicago in 1953 when i was 12 yrs old..Cant believe he is still at it. Wow.

This is great. He married a girl from my home town in Tennessee who had a wonderful voice and when they would visit her family, we would get to hear Dick play the accordian and she would sing. It was fun and I'm glad he's still active and performing.

It is great seeing Dick & Pete together again... I remember when Pete(his son) learned to play the drums so he could play in his Dad's band & travel on the road with him!!! You can see Dick smile & be proud of him..and have fun doing it... What a team & that includes long time friend & music director Corky Bennett on the keyboard. David

Thank you for the good comments... I'd like to see my video of Dick on You Tube get more hits... So pass on the information... We have known The Contino's for over 40 years, they are not just friends, but family. This concert here in Yakima is put on every year by Tom Direo...for his wife Bea. Dick is the BEST!!! It was great seeing Pete to, the best on the Drums, and plays a good Accordian too! Plus you have Corky...The King of Reno!... Keep on pumping & watching for more!

Dick invited us to Laughlin for his birthday in January 2007. It was magical. We spent 2 days with Dick, Corky, and Pete. Great time and great guys. I learned by watching Dick perform, there is loud, and then there is Dick Contino loud! Thanks for the performance tips, Dick. My bellow shake is a lot better after your advice! Jimmy in Vancouver.
