  • whats the break in procedure on one of the bad boys

  • its that a 23cc??

  • thats a nice informative precaution vid, Thanks

  • how are these thing for reliability

  • grossly overpriced!

  • sounds like lawn mower :L

  • were you born a retard?

  • holy crap. sounds like a bloody chainsaw... well technicaly it is.

  • lol u hit dat sorta big rock

  • what the hell is a manual

  • I think it's those things newbs read.

  • you got a big dent in ya' wallet...

    NO SH*T

  • Bah, only $960 ;)

  • good video that you showed the people it should help people out

  • guys, there is nothing bad about dese things and nitro is not faster dan dese these are DA BOMB

  • Looks nice ;D but it's very expensive too... :( I wonder how much it will cost in lithuania :D

  • Just 1 question:

Can it have a 2nd gear or just 1?

    rply me pls

    Tkx

  • where can i buy that car from in the uk? (not internet)

  • helpful

  • I have some questions:

Let's say you wanna put it away for the winter

would you suggest running it tell the gas is gone or can it have it in there for 6 months?

And i was wondering do you have shops in utah that sells it as well as the parts?

  • "MrHairyNutz' - imo the same applies when storing any gasoline engine - Drain entirely of fuel and add a few drops of oil directly into the cylinder bore and rotate 2 full rotations. That's just standard winter storage advice but its probably advice more suited to new zealand where i live. Maybe in warmer climates you wont need to drain the fuel etc, not sure about this bit tho :).

Hope this helps (since no-one bothered to answer your well written question :S)

  • Look what the guy said below m8 =]

"one thing you HAVE to remember is.....theses are engines, 2-stroke engines, and they need to be broke in. if your used to having a dirt bike or ATV you'll know what i'm talking about. 5 or 6 tanks of gas will brake it in."

  • and what do you do with those first tanks? drive slow ?

  • I've heard that they don't require running in... not advice that sits well with me tho

  • yer same but i would drive mine a little slow for a couple tanks.... when i get one

  • Well for when i get mine, i will probably idle the first tank away, then run the next tank slightly rich pretty much just to get everything oiled up nice in its wee crankcase. Then I'd clean the sparkplug I've just fouled up with oil, and then just go nuts :P

As far as care for you brand new engine is concerned, i think that may be the best way. personal opinions tho :)

  • yer that sounds good to me

  • yeh i might do dat when i get mine for £355

  • Why you dont have to run in a 2 stroke engine at all, its not a nitro did your run your lawn mower or weed whacker in??? ... just get it out the box do the last minuite build fule it up and away you go!!

  • you dont run a lawn mower in because its revs dont exeed 1000 lol, in an engine that relies on differing rpm to move it ill need running in although not in the same way as a nitro, on thi you simply run it on idle wheels on the floor to presure the con-rod

  • bullshit they dont need running in there the same metals so it wont seize ass face

  • i might never recover from such a harsh insult, read your manual, it clearly says run 1 tank on idle

  • its only so they cant get claied aganst for a bad engine wich wont happen any way its just a sort of disclaimer i guess

  • every engine needs running in, even new cars from the dealer need to be run in, just keep the revs low and limit you speed, couple of tanks and you done!

  • its called breaking in and it is to make the seals tiight

  • its called running in or breaking in, it means the same!

anyway, you need to break in a engine to make the piston and sleeve fit together right by slowly becoming looser, if you dont run the engine in and just thrash it out of the box then the piston and sleeve would become to loose to fast there fore decrecing engine proformance and engine life.

  • It's not a nitro engine, It's petrol.

  • one thing you HAVE to remember is.....theses are engines, 2-stroke engines, and they need to be broke in. if your used to having a dirt bike or ATV you'll know what i'm talking about. 5 or 6 tanks of gas will brake it in.

  • the only bad things i've heard about these are that they aren't as fast as the nitro's, but they have a hell of a lot more torque which means that they will do almost everything better, they can pull things faster, they can get up bigger hills, they can accelerate a little bit quicker (in scale) adn they are a lot cheaper to run.

  • ive hurd these new baja hpi cars aint so good at the moment so im stickin with my nitro evo rush

  • heard what where ? i've never heard anything bad about these..

  • Dont worry what Other`s say about The 5b They just wish They had one, Mine Is Gr8 & i`v never had a problem With it Evryone I talk to say`s that the 5b is One of the best hpi`s out ther.

P.s Best vid i`v seen Of a baja On Youtube.

  • quiet cock

  • no you are both wrong it runs off two stroke gas

    witch is normal gas+special oil.

    go to HPI's website

  • 2 stroke oil

  • no theyre right, it runs off regular gas mixed with 2-stroke oil but at a fairly high ratio so its mostly gas

  • 25 fuel to 1 oil

The manual says and I quote (caps mine) "NO BREAK IN PERIOD"

  • yes it does run on regular gas

  • and also does that thing run on real gas? like regular car gas? thanks

  • that thing has a freaking weed hacker in it!!

  • nice vid

    need more like these ones
