  • Thank you for bringing the show "Sounds" back into our consciousness!

  • Great tune, great band.

  • Lol Red Trousers :P

  • love the hook

  • Es interesante la música australiana, sin embargo no fue muy difundida en Bolivia, nosotros de los años 80, sólo conocemos a Midnight Oil o Icehouse, después no hubo cobertura para los de Oceanía. Saludos desde La Paz, Bolivia

  • this is too funy, was watching some old neighbours vids the other week and kept hearing this tune, always had wondered who it was!

  • @stusouthredbourn

I remember this was on in the Coffee shop during Rick/Debbie scenes and when I saw this vid... I thought "Fuck me, These blokes are white?!"

Still, Cool Tune. Just wish that this had been a single in the charts in the UK. I reckon it'd have gone top 5.

  • I have been trying to find something on the internet but I heard they were going to do a possible reunion?

  • Classic eighties!! How good is it

  • love it - bring back this kinda music!!!

  • in my top 5

  • GREAT Band. .

  • As a blues man who was playing around Sydney at the same time as these guys, let me say - The Hepnotics were the POO! I defy anyone to stay still when listening to this!!!

  • Doesn't get much better than this...the Hepno's with Continental Robert on vocals (a blues voice to die for) and a bit of Donnie Sutherland showing his Sounds magic. Thanks for posting!

  • They used to play around Manly (DD's) saw them so many times!!

  • Been wondering who sings this. Have come across a lot of people who have asked the same thing. Doubt they would remember the name of the group but the song is catchy.

  • Remember this from Neighbours

  • i've been looking for this song for about 15 years! (seriously).

i heard once in the early 1990s and thought it had a really kool beat.

then i heard it again about 10 years ago on the radio but i missed what the bands name was.

i did however remember more or less some of the words, so after days of searching i've finally found it.

    great song!

  • Looks like Dave Hughes' little brother...and he got all the talent!!!

  • Good stuff thank smarksydow loved this music.

  • The drummer of this band is now the drummer of Mental as Anything

  • Often played in the coffee shop in "Neighbours", in the late 80's & early 90's

  • love this song!!!!

  • I had three songs that rocked around this era: Soul Kind of Feeling (Dynamic Hepnotics), Money for Nothing (Dire Straits) and Here Come the Hercules (Midnight Oil).

  • OMG!! Soundz with Donnie Sutherland !!This song still rocks!!

  • Shit, was that a clip from SOUNDS at the start? I am very, very very old.

  • Man this is the 3rd time i thought it was a black man's voice.

  • I couldn't get this song out of my head when I first heard it playing on neighbours.

  • Great stuff, brings back memories of my teenage years. If you want to see what Conti is doing now check out the video on my site of Continental Robert's Blues Party. He's still great.

    Cheers

    Rooster

  • Continental Roberts got the moves!!!

  • ha ha ha i thought these guys were black

  • this guy was def black at some point in his life...i suspect a michael jacko type operation..theres no way this old white geezer wrote or sung this song

  • That black and white top with the red pants he shouldve burnt years ago!

  • i like this ktf

  • Correction, the name of Robert Susz's(lead singer of the Dynamic Hepnotics)new band is the Continental Blues Explosion.

It's hard not to automatically associate him with the Dynamic Hepnotics, so many good memories...

  • Third time lucky...

    The continental blues party...

  • The Dynamic Hepnotics played at my wedding a couple of years ago and they were outstanding. They're a really cool bunch of guys with some great music and they were the icing on the cake of a wonderful day.

  • has there been a better ''feel good'' song?

  • Personally, I think that he could have made the video much better. More enthusiasm placed within the clip would have made it grand. But nether the less it is a nice song to listen to from time to time.

  • Go Donny Sutherland!

  • Robi is such a d00d. Love the guy and his music

  • Robi is such a d00d. Love the guy and his music

  • This Song depicts a time in our lives so perfectly.

"A Soul kind of Feeling". We need more. Please Tour.

    and re release.

  • Sensational!

  • I met Robert at a party in the 80's and I used to dance to Hepno music in Kings Cross strip clubs and occasionally we met for coffee.

PS funny how corny his dance moves were looking back, I thought they were good back in the 80's
