u dont have to put it it just gets on ur ship when u get it so go to a x place it will work and if it braks u have to go get it fixed

once you get the salvage am it automaticaly ataches to your ship so just hover over the crest click menu and then salvage and then you are using your salvage arm

i used my alarm clock to get the arm. i was playing the game late at night so the clock was loud enough to get the arm cheaply, but quiet enough to not wake my parnts up.
