oh my god! this version is just wonderful! i love the way it´s accompanied by a piano, it makes it so concentrated! and his voice! too much for words!

Could somebody maybe please make a playlist of what they would consider to be the FINEST, FINEST selections from Handel's many operas?? (Obviously, such a selection would include this wonderful piece!) If you do so, please send me a message, but it would really be great, as right now, I don't have the time to dig through the operas myself!

Just beacause Händel composed in barock period. , I think he would be pleased if the singers put both beauty and drama to his music. Burrows is a very good match for my taste. He sings!!

Truly remarkable voice. I listened to his emotional "I can no more" at 3:30 a few times. And I love how he can float so well, like he's up in the clouds.

Oh my gosh! One of the most beautiful aria Handel ever wrote for a tenor. I had sang this aria so many time, because it was so beautiful. Stuart Burrows sang this with passion like what John Beard would do. Thanks for sharing this.
