I don't really have a strong opinion on Issue 3 (and yes, I live in Ohio), but this is a pretty blatant strawman argument. Even assuming every single person involved in horse racing lost his or her job, Issue 3 would still be a net job gain for the state. And to think that no one would go to horse races just because casinos are two hours closer than they are now is odd. That's like saying the OSU Buckeyes would have no fans at their football games if Columbus gained an NFL team.
