quick question about rugby. why do you have to touch the turf after you've crossed the line for a try? jw. bc it almost seems a given that once ya have crossed the line you WILL score a try. Im just wondering if guys who have crossed the line to score a try are often held up before they hit the ground.

Also my mates dad has beat up a load of american soldiers who were thinking they were hard and bigging up their own army and thy got smashed by him and his regiment... and he said they are undertrained and just have numbers aswell. American Military is responible for the most frendly fire incidencys in the world... and that again proves how 'deecent' the american military is enough said... i have more evidence if u want more... and more facts

Considering the amount of injuries your typical American Football player is expected to sustain throughout his career, the idea of NOT having padding is just reckless. I hope you'll forgive me, but I seriously doubt YOU play it seriously; the only person I'd really accept this sort of argument from would be a rugby player, and even then, it sounds a lot like a Roman gladiator complaining about how Ultimate Fighter doesn't go to the death. Rugby players dont charge at 18mph into another player shoulders first into their stomaches. or head on collisions. Rugby is more fun imo than american football but god damn does football hit harder and faster. i've played both sports. Football in highschool and rugby as an intramural sport in college. TV slows down the players clearer. Alot of old pro players dont live past 50.
