  • @EricAvilesGOM If you think he only wants the fame, that's not true. Don't judge people by just looking at them. If he really wanted the fame that much, he would've became like those other celebrity rappers out there. But instead, he said: "I don't want to be a celebrity, because all a celebrity want is FAME. I want to be a HERO, who spreads the word of GOD." DUH! That's why he's a Christian rapper. Now go get yourself a Bible and start reading. GOOD BYE and HAVE A NICE DAY! (:

  • I love the messages of Lecrae...God is truly using him!!!

  • I heard how Jesus changed other people's lives and I wanted it too.I was a lying stealing cheating arrogant sexually immoral drug-addicted jerk.I knew I was bad and wanted to be good.I asked Jesus to take control of my life;I had made a mess of it.He came and purified my thought-life and heart.I believe the Son of God died for my sins and rose again. Understanding His love I trust Him and give Him control of my life. He transformed me into a new person.Never knew joy like this was possible.

  • @djquiz6425 That just makes my day. Another one for the kingdom. God bless, and keep fighting the good fight.

  • Ask and ye shall receive! I asked Jesus to show me my pride and dishonesty, and He did. Then I asked Him to remove it. Then when I was able to be for real with myself and Him, I asked Him to show me my sin. Then I asked to wash my sin away with His blood. Then I asked Jesus to show me the fears, doubts and scars I had in my heart. Then I asked Jesus to take it away. I could not do any of this myself, I had to ASK HIM to do it. He did. And then HE ASKED ME to tell others what He did for me.

  • ♥lovely but I think what he said last year at the Rock and Worship Roadshow was better YOU DON'T REALIZE THAT ALL YOU NEED IS CHRIST WHEN ALL YOU HAVE IS CHRIST♡ ssssoooooo true!!!!

  • LOL at Lecrae's face when those girls run on stage n try n take a pic with him hahaha

  • I LOVE this!!!!

  • THIS IS AWESOME!!

  • that was brilliant!! the lady can saingggg!!! :)

  • 3:29 BRITT NCOLE (:

  • Natalie sounds a little bit like Fergie. I think her voice sounds appropiate and soulful. It's a good combo IMO.

  • i love this but natalies voice in this doesnt sound Good, i know she's doing it for Jesus but really her voice doesnt fit for hip hop

  • The beginning was too cheesy.

But as soon as he started spitting i got chills !!!

    i <3 this song.

  • I love Lecrae but there is something inherently funny about seeing him standing next to Natalie Grant on a stage.

  • It's about time for some real holy hip hop on the Doves! I love Natalie's soul. She's often overlooked. So glad Kirk Franklin had her on the Hatian tribute.

  • No disrespect but how is playing the background work when it looks like he loves the glory and fame? Just saying. It's ironic how fame can ruin someone's image like Lecrae. I had respect for him. Now, he's just another brother.

  • @EricAvilesGOM what makes u think he loves the glory and the fame?

  • @MoldovaRO Yeah, explain.

  • @LAYLAY0928 am asking u to explain! i think hes definitively playing the background and god works through him.

  • @MoldovaRO Lol I was agreeing with you, and asking the guy you were replying to to explain also.

  • @LAYLAY0928 ohh hahah yeah my bad i though the user that said Lecrae was enjoying the glory and fame just said yeah explain, my bad didnt see it was someone else.

  • @EricAvilesGOM how does he look like he is enjoying the "fame"...he said "we can enjoy the lord"... just because he is on the stage rapping and dancing and smiling doesn't mean he is ruining his image. It looks to me that god is blessing him for "playing the background" and being joyful. why do ppl always think that when you follow jesus you have to look sad and depressed? God says to be joyful. Looks like someone needs to open up the bible more...just saying

  • @asiadee1091

IT's quite obvious. There's no need to question how he likes the fame. Who honestly doesn't. It's obvious that he likes prancing around claiming "yea I do this for Christ" when in fact, it looks like he's doing it for himself. I didn't say people always thing that when you follow jesus you have to look sad and depressed. Who said that? Looks like someone needs to actually open and READ the bible lol... just saying.

  • @EricAvilesGOM how does it look like he enjoys the fame

  • whts the first song called?

  • wht song is this there performing?

  • @singingirl123 is called "background"

  • and i still can't believe this guy did a free concert at kemah boardwalk just this past summer.. What a humble guy

  • There's that pyramid symbol again.

Was Jesus Christ or his good news of salvation mentioned in this performance at all?

Is this building up the saints in their knowledge of Jesus and his gospel?

Or is it just entertainment for Christians?

Is Jesus pleased with this performance?

    Luke 6

26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, For so did their fathers to the false prophets.

  • @brianfeaster1 Man, get off your soap box! He's letting people know that they should have the humility iof Christ because he should be the center of our lives. Get off of your ignorant pedestal and open your mind up.

  • @TheRiddler8

Am I your enemy for telling you the truth?

    This is not ministry work.

It's "entertainment" & "The American Dream". That's not Christianity but a "Temptation".

Jesus had to resist it, and so do we.

    Matthew 3

9 And he said to Him, "All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me."

10 Then Jesus said to him, "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.'"

    Luke 9:23

    1John 2:15-17

  • @brianfeaster1 Just because one can judgmentally quote scripture doesn't mean that what you're saying is true. Lecrae changed my life and now i'm more involved in trying to spread the gospel than i ever thought i would. but you're right, we should all just jump up and say, just because it's Christian RAP, that it's evil and false.

  • @TheRiddler8

    Scripture is true.

That is what followers of Christ live by.

And where did I say that Christian rap is evil?

It's the lyrics that's the problem. It simply entertains since it doesn't mention Jesus Christ or his gospel. This is Christianized feel good music.

    Jesus isn't glorified but Lacrae.

    "Lecrae changed my life..."

    See my point?

I don't mean to be offensive. But Jesus' teachings must be our standard. Matthew 7:13-23 Or else we're in a different religion.

  • @brianfeaster1 God may change our life, but unless he physically comes down and lets you see his glory, Paul on the road to Damascus style, then he uses somebody. When someone says "Lecrae changed my life..." they are not worshiping Lecrae. They are saying that through God, he changed their life. God didn't keep me from committing suicide directly, my friend did.

  • @incamethefire

I'm not denying that God works trough people. I'm saying that when and if he is, this is our tendency...

    1Corinthians 1

11 For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you.

12 Now I say this, that each of you says, "I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos," or "I am of Cephas," or "I am of Christ."

13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

  • @incamethefire

Our tendency is to worship each other. We need to guard ourselves from that by lifting up Jesus and not ourselves.

    Acts 10

25 As Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him.

26 But Peter lifted him up, saying, "Stand up; I myself am also a man."

This performance is not Romans chp. 12, but the very opposite of Romans 12:3.

Its entertainment. Christ didn't come to make us superstars, but servants of one another.

  • @brianfeaster1 But when Christ puts you in a leadership position, makes you a modern day Joseph, what does that look like? Today, it's politicians, and its entertainers. Granted we're not here to entertain but we can still praise God and entertain at the same time. If God didn't want Lecrae in the place He put him, then He wouldn't have put him there. It's not ours to judge Lecrae, but it IS ours to pray God uses him to reach more souls as he already has.

  • @incamethefire

Lets not be so quick to assume that this is God's work. Lets test it first.

I wouldn't speak on this topic if we weren't being seduced into idolizing entertainers. This serious sin 1Corinthians 6:9-13

Arts & entertainment is not sin. Pleasure seeking & idolatry is. We must flee from it. Not shake hands with it. We don't need to become idols to praise God. And praise to God isn't intended for our own pleasure, but God's. Ephesians 1:5-6, 9, 12, 14

  • @brianfeaster1 Ok, so how is this pleasure and idolatry?

  • @TheRiddler8

    The idol is Lacrae

The pleasure is confusing entertainment with ministry.

  • @brianfeaster1 Once again, its not a pyramid. It looks nothing like a pyramid. Since you want to dissect him, how about we dissect you? Hmm, are you a Christian? Or are you a false prophet coming to dismantle a fellow believer's testimony in Christ? You are sowing seeds of dissension and discord among God's people. You are causing a belieevers testimony to be called into question. How DARE you try to tear down something God built. Even Satan can quote scripture.

  • @incamethefire So I dont wanna hear you try to justify what you're doing with Scripture.

  • @incamethefire

Whenever we cannot hold a fellow believer accountable to Scripture, it's because that person has become our idol, who should have taken the background, but didn't. And we like it that way.

To call this service to God is blasphemy. This has happen because Scripture is no longer our authority, but our opinions.

Satan wants us to glorify ourselves, not Jesus Christ.

  • @incamethefire

Furthermore, Christian hip-hop is not synonymous with self glorification. The Holy Spirit doesn't support that kind of work. We've been deceived.

I don't fault you for not seeing. I didn't myself. But we must be willing to see it.

Nowhere in Romans 12 is this affirmed as Christian living or service. But the is Ephesians 5:15-21

  • @brianfeaster1 My brother, I'm sorry but you are mistaken. You see, just because someone is popular among people doesnt mean he's made himself an idol or given in to self glorification. God has either placed or allowed him to get to that position. Nowhere has Lecrae taken glory from God, quite the opposite in fact. Thats all I have to say and this debate is over. Good day, sir.

  • @brianfeaster1 You are right on point! thanks alot for all the scripture.

  • @sickofwaiting1

    Thanks, Bro!

    Anytime : )

  • @incamethefire

This is acting. This is what the pharisees did. Matthew 6:18 & Matthew 23:1-12

If we simply follow Scripture(Romans 12), and avoid copying the world, we won't be judged by each other as hypocrites.

But when we do these things, and even take these satanic symbols (the masonic pyramid) as our own, it shows who we really serve.

Lacrae cannot stop doing this. He has to commit these sins because of who he works for.

  • @brianfeaster1 So now Lecrae is satanic? What pyramid gesture does he make? What makes him satanic? And what gives you the right to call him satanic? You're not testing the spirits, you're passing judgement theres a difference.

  • @incamethefire

"What pyramid gesture does he make?"

Not a gesture, but a symbol, which he displays on his shirts, album cover and even on stage at his concerts.

The Christian symbol is the cross of Jesus Christ, not the pyramid. That belongs to Freemasonry, which owns the mainstream music industry.

Christians cannot sanctify satanic symbols by giving it a Christian definition.

Don't be an advocate for a personality, but Jesus Christ & his gospel. - 2Corithians 10:3-6

  • @brianfeaster1 If that's a pyramid, its a dyslexic one. I think you are reading into that "symbol' to deeply my friend. Here's what Lecrae has to say about it. I suggest hearing what he has to say before passing judgement.

  • @incamethefire

I already heard what he had to say about the symbol.

  • @brianfeaster1 And, there is nothing wrong with treating your fans well, saying "hey" gesturing at them as he did in the beginning. Jesus had "fans" and he treated them well. He hung with them and fed them and was gracious toward them. Lecrae is following Jesus's example.

  • That was an Awesome performance and I have never been a fan of Lecrae but I like this performance.

  • what is a nuff?

  • This was an amazing collaboration for the genre of music being represented (rap and pop). As for Jesus not being felt here, people have said the same thing about "modern day" music since forever (ie rock and roll, r&b etc). Maybe this doesn't speak to you, but it's speaking to those who listen to this type of music all the time. I don't think we should let the devil have ANY genre of music to himself. He didn't create any of it and we certainly should not let him co-opt any of it either.

  • Why didn't they just get the guy who normally sings in this song instead of replacing him with Natalie Grant.

  • What @CHUNIOR05 I hope you see it differently!

  • lol play the backgground?? suree bout that? just being honest, i dont see Jesus at all.

  • @CHUNIOR05

    No.

    Jesus isn't even mentioned.

This isn't ministry, but entertainment & "The American Dream".

It's wrong when the world pursues it and it's wrong for us as well.

    1John 2

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world --- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life --- is not of the Father but is of the world.

  • @brianfeaster1 exactly what the Holy Spirit was impressing my heart.. this really looks like entertainment to me. again, im just being Honest.

  • @CHUNIOR05

    Luke 9

23 Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

  • she is amazing

  • I can see Britt Nicole shes smiling!!

  • @Chrisstorm7971 how could you say that? haayss

these songs are NO WHERE NEAR about the performance the songs ARE ABOUT the words

i challenge you to just look up the lyrics and really dive into them they WILL speak to you. lecrae is more than just a christian rapper

  • @cedarfreak55 EXACTLY...he is the first christian rapper I took seriously. He doesn't rap about stupid stuff and I love how he incorporates scripture into his lyrics.

  • God is enough amen amen love you God
